Yeah I also liked that bit. Seems like Niko is going to take over, he reminds me of Tony Montana in the 3rd trailer when he is wearing that red suit.

There were 5 parts of the trailer that I really liked:

 

1) When they show that car pursuit scene with that guy shooting out the window

 

2) When the guy falls straight into the SUV

 

3) When Niko is fist fighting

 

4) When that police car crashes into the truck

 

and

 

5) The scene where the motorcycle speeds through those Firefighters running away. I think it just looks cool the way the bike speeds through

I don't know if you could call this "one scene," but I was really diggin' the rainy car chase. I'm a huge fan of in-game weather systems. Loved the lightning in Vice City. So, I was sold when the trailer unleashed that goodness. I couldn't tell from the trailer, but I would be in awe if they actually incorporated puddles.

 

Other than that, I'd have to mention another part of the chase scene - which just happend to have been part of one the rainy sequences - the car physics. Who didn't love it when the car bounced over the hill? I can't wait to drive these cars for myself.

Everybody is getting it all wrong with what they say at the end, even the OP .. The guy with the gun said "So you in big guy? ... or we gunna have to kill ya?" .. then Niko said "Well .. since you put it that way .. Im in .."

But my favorite part was when the cop car crashes into the truck and is it me or do the gunshots just sound kinda sh*tty ? ..

I have never been as impressed by a videogame as much as I was when I saw Niko walking in front of that burning building. The sirens, the serious look on his face, the clothes he was wearing, the lighting, the fire crackling sound, the weapon. Everything just came together in a perfect mix. Wow.

 

I also like the part where he one car speeds over the bump, and it slams down on one corner, showing off the shock system.

 

And the scene where Niko jumps off the bridge, then tucks and rolls.

The hand to hand fight, the ending...

But honestly, what really caught my attention was the part where the

girl kisses Niko, his facial expression, when roman is threatened by

those guys, awesome, almost human.

My favorite part was when Niko was doing a drive by during the rain.

I loved the gunfighting scenes, especially the part where he's shooting up at the top of some stairs. The car chases demonstrated beautifully the new physics and graphics, and the realistic emotions and movements in the "Where's your Russian friend now, huh?!" scene.

 

A more general thing I liked in the trailer was the general sense of the ultra violence a player gets acquainted with having a real impact on how other characters perceive Niko, like the guy with glasses yelling "Stop shooting people you maniac!" and Roman grabbing Niko and saying "I told to be calm you hot-headed chump!". It seems to me like the player's actions as Niko (ie: massive killing sprees) will develop your reputation as a butcher and panic characters you're involved with. That's one thing seeming to be lacking in previous GTAs, it had a small presence but not big enough IMHO.
