To get the hydra going forward just move the right control stick why holding the X botton to go forward and keep steady. If you have an Xbox then hold whatever button it is to go forward. The 'X' button is quite different on consoles to what it is on a PC keyboard On the PC you can configure the various controls to be what you like but what I use for flying are: Up Arrow - Accelerate Down Arrow - Decelerate Right Arrow - bank right Left Arrow - bank left Q - Left rudder (turn left without banking) W - Right rudder 8 - Down 9 - Up 2 - raise or lower undercarriage (where applicable) On a helicopter that becomes Up Arrow - Go up Down Arrow - Go down Right Arrow - bank right Left Arrow - bank left Q - Left rudder (turn left without banking) W - Right rudder 8 - Lean forwards (and down) to go faster 9 - Lean back to go slower The Hydra is a bit special because you can alter the angle of the thrusters to change from hover mode to full jet mode or have them part way between the two.
