Nah, it'll be in this topic.

And yeah, after this, hiatus from writing until I grab ahold of something I wanna write again. I need inspiration, and it's very thin these days. I miss Roberto and Andy's work.

And the suprise [that most of you figured out anyway] is the explosive final missions to end Return to Heart City, and put rest to the Heart City trilogy. It's been a f*cking long time coming. Enjoy, and thank you for the support. Leave lots of replies, comments, anything, and you'll recieve another very nice suprise at a later date. Thanks again. Enjoy.

You're standing outside of Alexandre's mansion from the previous mission. You've now completed the remaining gang war missions. After ten seconds, your phone will ring. Press triangle to answer it.

Gerry: I know, I know. I got held up doing something for the Cartel.

Voice (OS): What don't you understand about laying low? I've been doing some research, and something bad is up. I'll inform you when I achieve the information I'm searching for, but for now you need to start taking Green State's properties over for yourself. I've compiled and left a list for you at the motel of what you'll need to purchase. How much money do you have?

Gerry: Enough.

Voice (OS): Call me if you need a loan. I'll contact you later, Gerald.

The line goes dead and Gerry puts the phone away. A small white piece of lined A4 paper has appeared on the mini-radar at your motel for the list the anonymous caller was telling you about. Grab a car and head over there. On your motel door is the list. Press triangle to read it.

"Gerry, purchase the following properties throughout the state:

• Junkyard in Wastelands: £25,000.

• Demolished Radio Tower in Gadebridge City: £50,000.

• Dam in New Stanford: £75,000.

• 15 Industry Way in Downtown: £100,000.

• Millenium Shopping Complex in Heart City: £125,000.

After purchasing them, you have got to lay low and assemble your men together. Don't let me, yourself, and if you even remember, your son down.

- Anonymous."

Red flashing blips have appeared all over the mini-radar for each business property. Change your outfit back into your black suit with the dark blue shirt underneath it and save your game. If you don't have all the money, go and max your respect for each gang and do gang jobs for £3,000 per job. Once you've managed to raise all the money, go to each property on the mini-radar and purchase each one. After you've purchased all five, your phone will ring. Press triangle to answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Alexandre (OS): Warren, it's Alexandre. Nate will be home in an hour, and before we go out to celebrate, I need you to pick something up for me. I've left the details at the base. I've gotta go, see you soon, my friend.

The line goes dead. There is now an 'A' on the mini-radar at the Caribbean Cartel's base in the Downtown district. Go and save your game at the motel and then grab your Banshee and drive to the base. Park into the purple marker outside of the door and the screen will fade to black.

Insurrexion

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry slowly pulls up to the base in the Banshee and stops the car. He gets out and closes the door behind him, locking it by pressing the button on the keys. He walks down the pavement and arrives at the door, where a note is attatched to it. He grabs it and rips it off the door and starts reading it, as Alexandre's voice can be heard reading the letter back to the player.

Alexandre (OS): The base is empty. All the boys are preparing to invade the Yakuza's base. A friend of mine has left an armoured car in an alleyway in Trenton. It's covered by a sheet, so pick it up and bring it back to the base and we can use it for the invasion, and then onto celebrations after Suni Xu is killed."

Gerry screws the note up and tosses it on the floor and goes back over to the Banshee, unlocking it and getting inside.

END OF CUTSCENE

A purple blip has appeared on the mini-radar for the car in Trenton, which is in Gadebridge City. A message appears on-screen: "Go pick the armoured car up and take it to the base."

After you cross the bridge into Gadebridge City, your cell phone will begin ringing. Gerry will automatically answer it inside of the car.

Gerry: Yeah?

Voice (OS): I thought I told you to lay low!

Gerry: I've got one more thing to take care of and then I promise I'll lay low for a couple of weeks, let everyone know what's going on and when we're gonna take Barcalow down. The Cartel are taking care of Suni.

Voice (OS): You fool, they know you're f*cking them over. The car is a trap. You really f*cked up, Gerry.

Gerry: What?

Voice (OS): You were too active, too busy f*cking each gang over you forgot about what's important. Let Alexandre think you're dead and get to your dam in New Stanford. An associate of mine is on their way. Take out the Cartel's base before they take you out. They are gunning for you, Gerry!

Gerry: I truly thank you for the information. After this, I'll lay low, I promise.

Voice (OS): I'll call you soon.

The line goes dead and there is now a purple blip on the mini-radar for your dam in New Stanford. Speed over there and along the way you'll be ambushed by Cartel Patriots. Park into the purple marker and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry skids the Banshee to a halt with such force it nearly flips over. He gets out and sees a Hunter helicopter begin landing inside the gates. He opens the gates up and runs inside and the Hunter lands and a man in a suit gets out as Gerry gets in.

END OF CUTSCENE

A blue blip appears on the mini-radar for the Cartel base Downtown. Take flight and a message appears on-screen: "Take the Cartel's base down." Two health meters appear on the right-hand side of the screen: one for the Hunter, and one for the Cartel base. Start flying over Heart City and you'll see Cartel gang cars all over the place below. Your phone begins ringing. Gerry will automatically answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Alexandre (OS): What are you doing?! Get the damn car!

Gerry: Do you think I'm an idiot? F*ck you, Alexandre.

Alexandre (OS): F*ck you!

The conversation ends. Fly over the Cartel's base and start firing the machine guns at it and dropping bombs on it. Cartel will pour out of the building and onto the building's roof with M16 machine guns. More Cartel will arrive in Patriots also. Take any Cartel member you see out with the bombs before they get any significant damage on your helicopter.

You'll have to keep circling around the building and shooting at it for about seven minutes. After the health of the building reaches zero on the meter in the right-hand side of the screen, the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry fires a final bomb at the building and the building's bottom explodes and starts to come down, as Cartel gang members begin running away with M16's still in hand. The camera cuts to a dark red Infernus skidding to a stop down below. The door opens and a pair of black boots can be seen getting out of the car.

The camera pans up, revealing Brian Massaro carrying an M79 Grenade Launcher over his shoulder. He kicks the door closed with his left boot and takes aim and then fires, with the impact of the shot sending Brian stumbling backwards. The grenade slams into the side of the Hunter and it starts spiralling to the floor below.

The camera gets a close up shot of the Hunter, and Gerry kicks the door open as the whole thing begins catching fire. He dives out with a parachute attatched to himself and Brian puts the M79 down and runs to the trunk of the Infernus and lifts it up. He pulls out an M16 and runs back over only to see Gerry land on the floor below.

END OF CUTSCENE

Brian is running from quite a distance towards you, giving you a chance to equip your own M16. A message appears on-screen: "Kill Brian Massaro."

When in-range of each other, there is nothing to hide behind; it's a shootout to the death, and he's wearing full body armour. Take aim and start firing at Brian, and he'll do the same to you. After about seven seconds of soliding shooting, he'll go down and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Brian is crawling along the floor on his stomach, coughing up blood. His M16 is a few feet away from him, and he's desperately trying to reach for it. The sound of Gerry's footsteps can be heard and it cuts to him standing above Brian, aiming the M16 down at him. Brian stops crawling towards the gun and looks up at him.

Gerry: I knew I shouldn't of let you get away.

Brian: Yeah, well, you did. Did you honestly think that...

Brian lets out a violent cough and his head slowly hits the floor and he lets out his last breath. Gerry bends down and gently puts the M16 next to Brian's lifeless body and turns around, walking away as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

Mission Passed.

You're standing a few meteres from the fallen Cartel gang base. Ambulances and fire engines are all over the place. Go jack a car and when you enter it, you'll be under constant attack from Cartel Patriots, Zaibatsu Stingers, Yakuza Infernus' and Resistance Esperantos. A message appears on-screen: "Get to your motel!"

A motel icon has appeared on the radar and it's flashing. The cars are very violent and are trying to cause your car to explode. If you get out of the car, they'll attempt to run you over. Get to the motel and when you arrive, the cars will leave you alone and drive away. Get out of the car and when you enter into the motel, Gerry will take his cell phone out, dial, and put it to his ear.

Will (OS): Hey pops, what's up? What you upto?

Gerry: Will, not a lot of time to explain. I just got attacked by a whole bunch of gangs on the way over to the motel. Where are you?

Will (OS): What? Oh sh*t, you alright? We all over in Heart City. You wanna talk to Carlito? He's tha' only sober one outta the rest.

Gerry: Put him on.

A few moments pass, and you can hear light music and a lot of partying going on in the background.

Carlito (OS): About time I heard from you.

Gerry: Look, meet me in the Heart City train station. The streets aren't safe for me now. I've got to stay underground. I'll be taking the Talbert line straight through to the Pearl line from Downtown. I'll meet you all there, so sober up fast.

Gerry hangs the phone up and puts it away. There is now a 'GW' on the mini-radar for the underground tube station in the Downtown district. Save your game in the motel and grab your Banshee and speed over there and park into the purple marker and the screen will fade to black.

The Elimination

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The screen fades in with Gerry running into the large tube station. Many men and women are walking as Gerry runs past them all, bumping in and out of people. He runs through to the ticket office and stops at the que of people, looking around. He looks up at a clock on the wall as a voice can be heard echoing over the speaker system.

Voice (OS): Now boarding for the Pearl line to Heart City.

Gerry: Come on, come on.

Gerry pushes past the men and women in the line and gets to the front and tosses a handfull of notes at the ticket cashier and runs through the ticket eater as a security guard begins chasing after him.

Guard: Hey, come back here!

The camera cuts to Yakuza Infernus' pulling up outside of the entrance that Gerry came in through. The camera cuts to the eastern entrance, where La Resistance Esperantos begin pulling up. The camera cuts to the western entrance, where Zaibatsu Stingers begin pulling up. The camera cuts back to the Yakuza Infernus', and the doors begin opening up. Suni steps out of one car, holding an Uzi machine pistol. The camera cuts to the La Resistance gang cars, and Lavie steps out of one, holding an MP60. The camera cuts to the Zaibatsu Stingers, and Stanley steps out of one, with black cane in one hand and combat shotgun in the other.

The camera cuts back inside of the train station, and Gerry is running through the crowds of people. He runs through a large doorway with a sign overhead reading 'Pearl.' The guard is still chasing close behind him.

Voice (OS): Final calls for the Pearl line to Heart City.

The camera cuts to dozens of gang members flooding through the train terminal, and upon seeing each rival gang, they begin exchanging fire as men and women begin screaming and running away.

Gerry turns around upon hearing the screams and looks back to see a dozen Yakuza members with Uzi's running towards him.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "The gangs have hunted you down! They've come to eliminate you! Leave nobody alive!"

Equip an M16 and take aim at the Yakuza members and start firing. Millions of orange blips have appeared on the mini-radar, mostly all north and not around you yet. Two large blips have also appeared on the mini-radar: one white for Lavie Farraday; one yellow for Stanley Everett.

After you take those Yakuza men down, some of the orange blips should be closing in on you. These represent all the gang members - and they're everywhere inside the station, with all exits shut down.

Start running towards an escalator and run up it. Some gang members will begin running up them soon, so run around to the side and take aim at them all. They'll start firing at you. Take as many out as possible. Keep running.

Run over to the information booth on the second floor and take cover behind it. When some gang members start coming, take aim and fire at some of them. When they start getting closer, keep moving.

A lot of gang members will now be on the second floor, so make a run for an escalator back down to ground level and go look for Stanley Everett. All the gang leaders are also moving around, running after you, and they're heavily armoured. When you find Stanley, try to take cover and eliminate any Zaibatsu gang members around him and try to hurry before any more gang members come after you.

The artificial intelligence of each gang boss is very high, and Stanley will run to the nearest wall or large object and take cover aswell. With both of you taking cover, duck in and out and exchange fire with Stanley. Be careful of his combat shotgun. Kill him and keep moving.

Start going towards the large blue blip that is Lavie, the new La Resistance boss. When you arrive at him, eliminate any Resistance soldiers he has with him and then take cover behind the nearest wall and start firing at him. Kill him and grab his MP60 ammo if you wish, then keep moving.

One large magneta blip now appears for Suni Xu, and you should be down to about twenty gang members left now. Suni is on the second floor, and the gang members will begin coming down from the second floor and coming after you. Eliminate as many as you can on the way to Suni, and go back up to the second floor. When you see Suni, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Suni turns to face Gerry, and he's holding an Uzi. Gerry stops walking and aims the M16 at Suni.

Gerry: Thought you'd come down here personally?

Suni: That's correct. I didn't expect the others to come aswell, but since we've all been betrayed by you, I guess we have a common goal in mind.

Gerry: Well, they're dead. And so are you.

Suni laughs and looks over Gerry's shoulder.

Suni: Are you sure about that?

A dozen Yakuza members begin flooding into the large marble room from the escalators, each armed with Uzi's. Gerry turns around to face them.

END OF CUTSCENE

Suni: Take the backstabber down!

Run to the nearest pillar and take cover. Duck in and out and take as many Yakuza members down as you can. There are 12 total, and Suni will be bullet proof for now, so don't bother trying to kill him yet. He's still standing in the same spot he was in during the cutscene, not firing at you. After you take a few out, dash to the next pillar, avoiding fire and take cover. Duck in and out and shoot the remaining Yakuza men out. When all die, a message appears on-screen: "Eliminate Suni Xu."

Suni will begin running towards you. Forget the ducking in and out, this is the man who ordered your son's death; put bullets through his heart and make sure he feels it.

Come out from behind the pillar and start shooting at Suni with the M16. He only has an Uzi, but he's heavily armoured, more-so than the two previous bosses, and more-so than you. What seems like an eternity of shooting each other, Suni will fall over and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Suni is sitting on the marble floor, leaning against a brown bench with blood running from his nose and mouth. He's breathing in through his nose, hard, trying to suck the blood back into his body. His suit is covered in blood, and a puddle is forming around him. Gerry approaches him and Suni aims the Uzi at him and pulls the trigger, but the clip is empty and all you hear is click after click where he keeps trying to pull the trigger. He soon gives up and tosses the Uzi at Gerry, crying out as he does.

Gerry: For the other two gang leaders I killed, I had respect for. Especially Lavie, I considered him a friend. But for you, no. For you, I have no respect.

Suni begins slowly weeping, trying to pull himself to his feet, but can't. His body shaking, bleeding, and now even further slumped down.

Suni: What...did I do...to deserve no...no respect?!

Gerry aims the M16 at the forehead of Suni Xu and looks down, dead into his sorrow-glazed eyes as Suni looks up into his - his cold, firm glare.

Gerry: You ordered the execution of Sean Wood, my son.

Suni's eyes widen in disbelief. Gerry fires one single shot into his forehead and Suni's eyes jolt and his body trembles slightly before going completely limp. Gerry starts running back towards the escalator as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry runs outside of the train station and starts running towards the Banshee he arrived in and opens the door and gets inside as a message appears on-screen: "If you fail the mission from this point on, you can continue from here."

END OF CUTSCENE

You're sitting inside of the Banshee. You can hear a ringing sound. Gerry is making a phone call, so start driving away from the train station, even though there is no blip on the mini-radar.

Will (OS): Yo pops, why ain't you here?

Gerry: Change of plans. Meet me at the Gadbridge City bridge. We're ending this.

Will (OS): Aiight.

Gerry: Tell Shuya that Suni's dead. All that's left is Nate and Alexandre.

The conversation ends. A purple blip has appeared on the mini-radar at the end of the Gadebridge City bridge. Speed across it and park into the purple marker and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera shows a dark red Infernus skid through the gates of Alexandre's mansion. It comes to a halt on the gravel at the foot of his steps and the door is flung open. Nate steps out of the car and leaves the door open as he runs up the stairs to the mansion and stops at the front door and starts banging on it.

Nate: Alexandre, open up! Alexandre!

Alexandre opens the door, holding an M4 in his left hand with a grin on his face. Nate pushes past him and into the mansion and Alexandre closes the door behind him.

Alexandre: You seem a little paranoid, my friend. What's got you so worried?

Nate goes through to Alexandre's living room and goes over to the television and turns it on. He looks back to Alexandre who walks in, looking at the television.

Reporter (OS): It's unknown at this time of the men that caused this destruction, but all train stations in Green State have been sanctioned off. If you've just joined us here, a gang war erupted at the train station, Downtown. It's been reported that over one-hundred gang members were killed during this war.

Alexandre turns the television off and looks at Nate.

Alexandre: You don't think he took them all out, do you?

Nate grabs the M4 from Alexandre and cocks it.

Nate: I'm gonna take care of him personally. This has gone on too long and whatever fun you've been having is now over. We should of killed him the moment he set foot in this place.

Alexandre begins laughing as he grabs the vodka bottle on the table and pours himself a glass.

Alexandre: And miss out on all the fun in the process? Letting him do our business. Letting him believe we didn't know he was Sean's father? Come on.

Nate: This ends now.

Nate begins walking to the grand staircase as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Two red Kurumas pull up, and your team begins exiting them. Carlito is leading, with Will, Contel, Shuya and Carter close behind. Gerry is leaning against the hood of his Banshee, smoking a cigarette with the M16 in his left hand - drenched in still warm blood.

Carlito: Ready to end this?

Gerry: Yeah. You guys loaded up?

Contel: We got ours.

Gerry: Good. Let's go.

Gerry throws the cigarette on the floor and opens his car door as everyone heads back to their cars. Gerry's phone begins to ring and the camera shows the caller-ID when he takes it from his pocket: Anonymous. Everyone gets in their cars and Gerry gets into his, answering it.

Gerry: Little busy if you haven't noticed.

Voice (OS): Believe me, I've noticed. I'm in a location where I can see Alexandre's mansion. Nate Barcalow is on the move.

The camera cuts to a window of a building a few streets opposite Alexandre's mansion. You can see a clear front view of Alexandre's mansion, and Nate walking along the roof of the mansion towards a Hunter helicopter on the roof. A sniper rifle can also be seen perched up against the window paine and you can see the caller sitting in a chair. The camera is only showing his legs, dressed in black trousers and the bottom of a black suit jacket is also visable. His left hand is resting on his knee, and it tells of a fairly old man, possibly in his early seventies.

Voice (OS): He has an M4 in his hand. I believe he's on his way to find you.

The camera cuts back to Gerry inside of the car, and it begins lightly raining and the sky darkens.

Gerry: Alright, let him come to me.

Gerry hangs the phone up and the he starts the Banshee up and slowly rolls over to one of the red Kurumas. The window of the Kuruma rolls down.

Will: What's up?

Gerry: You guys go on ahead, I'm gonna take care of Nate personally. Get to Alexandre's mansion and warm things up and I'll be there soon, alright?

Will: Aiight. Be careful.

The window begins rolling up as both Kurumas start speeding away. The screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

A message appears on-screen: "Nate Barcalow is on his way to find you. You find him first. Get to the army base in the Wastelands and steal a Hunter." A purple blip has appeared on the mini-radar for the Wastelands. Health bars have appeared for everyone in your team along the right-hand side of the screen; they'll begin declining when they arrive at Alexandre's mansion, so you still have a little time to take Nate down. Speed through Gadebridge City and get to it. When you arrive, the purple blip will disappear and the gates will open. A message appears on-screen: "Waste any soldier in your way and retrieve a Hunter and find Nate Barcalow."

Speed through and run over any soldiers before they fire at you with M4s. Go right to the back and you'll find a Hunter inside of an open hanger. Park the Banshee and run over to it and get inside, and now a purple blip has appeared on the mini-radar, and it's moving. A message appears on-screen: "Kill Nate Barcalow."

Take to the skies and start piloting towards the blip. When you get close enough to it, you'll see a Hunter chopper flying through the air. Fire a bomb at it and begin firing machine guns at it. It'll turn to face you and it'll begin firing machine guns and bombs back.

Two damage bars appear on the left-hand side of the screen. It won't say whose is whose, but you can easily find out for yourself when you or Nate take damage. The rain is pouring heavily now, and everytime a bomb connects to Nate's Hunter, it'll be shoved back slightly, but if a bomb connects to your Hunter, you'll be shoved back slightly and the direction of your chopper will change, along with a camera haze, thus making it harder to hit him because you have to toggle the analog sticks back to face view.

Keep exchanging fire and when Nate's bar fully decreases, the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Nate's chopper takes one final bomb and it begins smoking heavily. He turns it around and begins piloting it away. Gerry begins to follow it, firing the machine gun at it. The camera cuts to Carlito, Contel, Will, Shuya and Carter; all five men, armed with M16s are outside of Alexandre's mansion, firing at Cartel members who are standing at the top of the steps and on the roof.

Nate's Hunter comes into view and the five men look up at it as it begins spiralling down towards them, now on fire. They start scattering and running away as it crashes into the steps and causes a huge explosion to the front of Alexandre's house, blowing half of the lower front off, and cracking the balcony at the top.

Nate crawls out of the chopper; blood pouring down his face and his black suit ripped and soaked in gasoline and charcoal. He slowly begins to stand to his feet, wobbling as he does so and Gerry's chopper comes in for a landing. Gerry Wood opens the door and jumps down to the broken concrete below, 9mm pistol firmly aimed infront of himself, pointed directly at a weaponless Nate Barcalow.

He slowly walks up to Nate, who can barely stand on both feet. Nate's usually emotionless face tells the story of bitter regret. Gerry arrives at Nate and puts the 9mm firmly on his chest, pointed right on his heart.

Nate closes his eyes and hangs his head; exhaling one final breath. Gerry fires a single shot. The bullet rips through Nate's chest and lances his heart and he's sent reeling backwards. He falls over and lands on the charred remains of the door below.

Gerry lets the empty clip of the 9mm pistol fall to the floor as Caribbean Cartel members begin flooding through the entrance gates and outside of the mansion.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "Take the Cartel members out then go find Alexandre Capelo inside and end this once and for all!" The lifebars for everyone have disappeared. They'll continue shooting with you, but they won't be much help. A dozen Cartel members will be entering from the east, and a dozen Cartel members will be coming from inside of the house.

Equip your M16 and take the ones coming in through the gates out first. Use the Hunter as cover as you do so, then run around the Hunter and use it as cover and take the other ones out. When they die, a large blue blip appears inside the mansion for Alexandre Capelo. Run inside the broken entrance and Cartel members will be coming from all rooms, including the stairs. If you have enough health left, it'd be best to run past them and keep going.

If not, take cover behind the large statues Alexandre has in the entrance hall and eliminate all of them. When they die, no more will come. Run up the grand staircase and when you arrive at the brown double doors leading to Alexandre's office suite, they'll be blown off by Alexandre inside of the office. The odds of the bullet hitting you are slim, but if it does, it'll take half your armour or health away.

Alexandre: Now you've got me pissed off, Gerry!

Alexandre is behind his large desk wielding a Minigun. He'll be heavily armoured and that Minigun will destroy you in a heart beat. Take cover behind the walls next to the blown off door and wait for him to stop firing to reload. These are your only split-second chances. Run out into the open and you'll realize you can't use auto-aim, so manual-aim the M16 at him and fire, then quickly dive behind the other wall before he resumes firing.

Repeat this process until finally he stops firing. Run out into the open and start shooting at him and he drops the Minigun. He'll start running towards you; blood pumping from his body everywhere; weaponless.

Keep firing at him and he'll fall to the floor and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry tosses the M16 onto the lifeless body of Alexandre Capelo, laying face down in a pool of his own blood. Gerry stumbles through Alexandre's office with his suit covered in his own and other people's blood, as his five team members run up the mansion stairs and slow down, walking into the office. Gerry slumps down into Alexandre's large leather chair behind the desk and swivels around in it lightly, looking up at everyone.

Will: sh*t pops, you did it!

Carlito: We did it.

Gerry: We did.

Gerry starts coughing up some blood and he spits it on the desk. His phone begins to ring and he takes it out of his pocket and the camera shows the caller-ID: Anonymous. Gerry answers the phone with a grin on his face and puts it to his blood-soaked ear.

Gerry: Calling to congratulate me?

Voice (OS): (Laughs) I guess you could call it that.

Gerry slowly stands to his feet and looks at the glass doors behind him. He walks over to them and opens them up and walks out onto the balcony, as his team slowly follows behind, and the rain begins to stop and the sun can be seen coming in through the dark clouds.

Gerry: I don't think I've ever seen the sun more than three times since I've been in this place. But I guess I should get used to it...this is home now, after all.

Voice (OS): It is.

Gerry: Sucessful businesses, no gang worries anymore. Seems like smooth sailing from here.

The camera cuts to the same view when Nate was entering the Hunter on the mansion roof: the entire mansion is in clear view, and you can see Gerry standing on the balcony, with his team standing by his side.

Voice: I've got to thank you, Gerald.

The camera's vision goes through the scope of a Sniper Rifle lense, and it's pointed directly on Gerry's forehead.

Gerry (OS): For what?

Voice: My city.

The camera instantly goes black and you hear a shot fired.

When the camera fades in after the credits roll, you'll be able to select a member of your team to play as. All your money, businesses, etc. is gone. All that's left to do is free roam a dead and forgotton city.

Game over.

That, was the best single piece of writing I have ever read in my entire life. I would have liked Gerry to meet the "Anonymous" man, but I doubt he will be able to do that =P. I love the twist at the end where you can play as fellow members.

Excellent, just excellent.

You deserve a well earned cookie.gif .

Y'know, I knew mostly what happened, up to the part where Gerry dies, but everything that I knew, even that took me by surprise.

Love it, Tony. Also, lol @ falsetto singing.

Honestly, you are a talented writer and this epic end to such a great trilogy leaves me at a loss of words. The way you leave a saddening and cliffhanging ending is simply spectacular. icon14.gif

I'm absolutely speechless, Tony. That story was possibly the greatest fan fiction I've ever read.

The greatest year and a half ever has now ended.

I bet Salvatore's Uncle killed Gerry... He looks like he's around 70... maybe. ph34r.gif

Thanks for the very positive reaction to the end of the story and trilogy. There's one little suprise left in store, and that's something small I wrote after I'd finished it. Here it is. Enjoy it.

Everything About Everything About Heart City...

This is written from the writer's standpoint of the story; this is me laying Heart City and everything surrounding it out to you, the readers, respectively.

Sean Wood, 2007. Nate Barcalow, 2004. Gerry Wood, 2008.

Let me begin by saying, for the many people that never figured it out (I had to explain this to certain people via msn): Cubanwhip (Roberto)'s story, 'The Conclusion' and the Heart City trilogy are set in the same universe. The President of the United States in Roberto's story was Mike Toreno, and I decided that I wasn't really going to use many old GTA characters, so we both agreed that they'd be set in the same universe. Roberto (the character) died in The Conclusion, never killing Mike Toreno - Sean Wood finished that for him. Although both agreed, Roberto Garcia would kick Sean Wood's ass in a fist/gun fight.

With that out the way, go grab a cookie and maybe a cola and I'll continue: For anyone that never read The Conclusion (I suggest you find it and do so now), Roberto was out to kill Mike Toreno, but was swamped and trapped himself in Vice City. Too many enemies, too many problems, he decided to take out his main antagonist, Catalina Vialpando, by blowing himself and her mansion to sh*t with them both inside of it. Everything died that day, including Vice City.

In a two-part mission in Return to Heart City, you fly out to Vice City to help Carlito Cortez destroy the remaining Colombian Cartel, (which were lead by Catalina in Conclusion). Starfish Island and The Conclusion both came to an end in mid-2007, the time-frame when Gerry and his crew went over to Vice City was around Febuary 2008, thus giving time for the Colombians to begin a resurface under a new leader. Gerry and Carlito put a stop to that, and as far as you (and we) know, that's the end of the Cartel.

Ray from GTA III was used in the original Heart City, he never even appeared in The Conclusion (as far as I remember), thus was still alive. Woozie was still alive in 2004 and made an appearance in Heart City Stories, as head of the Triads gang. He faked his death and was alive and well in The Conclusion...until Roberto killed him anyway. In Return to Heart City, during a Zaibatsu war mission, Claude Speed was the frozen body you had to transfer to the airport to be put on a plane straight to Anywhere City (link - GTA 2). In 2006, Roberto let Claude fall from a building, ending their battle. The Zaibatsu found him and froze him as a test subject, and upon learning his past, they kept him a top priority to stay alive, to one day work with them.

~

Heart City began in the beginning of 2007, very early January as I recall. It ended in November(ish), when Sean killed Mike Toreno in the final mission. The 'Aftermath', a short I wrote about what happened to Sean after the game ended was set in December 19, and it showed Nate [and Loki] killing Sean Wood for his 'betrayl' of the Yakuza.

Return to Heart City started just one week after this event, and the city had not seen a drastic change - apart from being viewed from a darker aspect, and having rain instead of sunshine 95% of the time (if you noticed, there never was much sunlight in the script). The story officially began on January 1st, and it ended in early-March when Gerry eliminated Suni Xi, Nate Barcalow and Alexandre Capelo, his three antagonists of the game. He was then taken out himself.

Heart City Stories' time setting was never really important, but I always saw it as being set through the entire month of May, 2004.

Why was Gerry Wood taken out? Please explain this to us. Alright, I will: Heart City never has a happy ending. All three protagonists are dead, so not a single one of them had a happy ending. Atleast Nate lasted a few years in power, but he was still doing hitman-like jobs in 2007 and 2008, so it was hardly a position which, let's say, Tommy Vercetti aspired to; where you were free to laze and eat cooked pigs all day by a swimming pool.

Gerry Wood was eliminated because he was manipulated into doing what the anonymous caller wanted him to do. The caller was old and frail, but wise, very wise. He got Gerry to eliminate ALL gangs from the state, and buy valuable property, which he took from Gerry when he shot him in the head with a rifle. The old man, although never explained, was linked to Donald Love. This is where things thicken and become interesting. Read on if you wish.

In 2004, in a mission in Heart City Stories, Nate and Turf [the then leader of the Saints] had to stash a company's top secret doomsday device in New Stanford. This was Donald Love's piece of merchandise. In (or around) 2017, Green State was eliminated off the face of the earth due to a massive explosion, causing it to sink to the bottom of the ocean. It became a 'lost continent'.

In 2028, Donald Love is in charge of 'The Company', and this sets the stage for Cubanwhip's sequel to The Conclusion, in which his daughter [seen as a baby at the end of The Conclusion], attempts to take on The Corporation and Donald Love. This would be set in Welton and Wychmere State; the references through each script I wrote weren't coincidence, they were of use, and this is the use for them. [if he ever writes it, that is. Sh*t Roberto, it's been over a year now. F*cking write it you twat.]

Loki: What happened to Loki?

Cubanwhip wanted to do a story on a character from Heart City, so Loki was not killed, simply abducted instead. Wether he writes a story for Loki or not is yet to be seen.

Each protagonist had hints of previous protagonists in the GTA stories, including their own, of course. Each one went as follows:

Sean Wood: CJ - in the sense that CJ had a soft touch to him, and wasn't just a brutal killer. Sean had emotion, and he was very young, much like CJ. He grew up throughout the game.

Nate Barcalow: Toni Cipriani - he did as he was told. A very cold and calculative killer. Only ever showed emotion to those he loved, like his sister, much like Toni would to his mother.

Gerry Wood: Tommy Vercetti - he had a smart head on his shoulders, although the game revolved around playing gangs off against each other rather than doing missions after buying assets.

None of the protagonists, in my eyes personally, were ever bad guys. Nate had a kid sister to support, and he did what he could to provide for her. Be it he spiralled a little further in to the 'bad side' of the business, but he was never truly evil. After he died, there was nobody to look after his kid sister, other than his gardener.

If you have any questions you'd like answered that I didn't include in this brief summary, I'll gladly answer them.

Tony, this is a very, very big thing to do, but I was actually planning on writing a game script in a state set next to Capitol City.

I know, I'm a newb, but it's something I've been planning.

Your thoughts?

newbs don't exist in WD. We're all equal here...

Woah... This is like, a whole other forum compared to the rest of GTAF.
