Another great chapter, I like how Zaibatsu are keeping themselves anonymous. Keep up the good work.

What .AR said about the Zaibatsu's anonymity - I like it. cool.gif

This stuff's shaping up to being something incredible. Keep it up!

Congratulations, you've finished eight out of eight open-gang initiation missions. Now, you still have two gangs left to work for, and those both being the Caribbean Cartel and the Yakuza - but the problem is, they're both locked. After ten seconds you'll recieve a phone call. Press the triangle button to answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Will (OS): Hey, pops. How's it goin' down there? Any progress?

Gerry: Good to hear from you. Things are going good; I've gained access to most gangs of the state, so now I can start asking around.

Will (OS): Any contacts over there?

Gerry: Yeah. Infact, I'm gonna call one in a minute, find out some information.

Will (OS): Alright. I've decided I'm gonna come on over an' help you out in about a week, so I hope you got room.

Gerry: Sure. I'll see you soon, son.

Gerry hangs the phone up. Drive back to the motel in the Downtown area and head to your room. When you get there, there's a note attatched to your door. Read it.

"Gerry, get to the phonebox in our usual point of telecommunications."

This message will only be displayed if you have completed eight out of eight accessable gang missions. A black phone icon has appeared on the radar at the same place as always. Grab your Banshee and drive over to Savage Heights then enter into the black glowing marker beside the phonebox and the screen will fade to black.

Time's Up [Part 1]

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry is sitting beside the phonebox with his back leaning against the wall. He's lightly banging the back of his head against the wall as he awaits the call. A few moments pass of random city noise such as car horns blowing and pedestrians chatting on the other side of the building when the phone begins ringing. Gerry reaches up and pulls the phone off the hook and brings it down to his level and puts it against his left ear, pressing the side of his head against the side of the phone and holding it in place with his shoulder as he pulls out a packet of cigarettes and a box of matches with his free hand.

Voice (OS): Smoking's a bad habit, you know.

Gerry: So is anonymously calling someone through a payphone and so obviously spying on them. (Looks up at the building across the alley and starts looking in each of the windows)

Voice (OS): Look all you want. I told you I'd call on you if you wished to recieve more money.

Gerry: I don't want your money. (Slides a cigarette between his lips and lights a match)

Voice (OS): Now I know this isn't true. You've been working for gangs that you full well know have had no activity with Sean. After Sean killed Mike Toreno, he layed low; he wasn't working with, for or against any new gang which entered the state after that incident. Now, I know you're working with two agendas: money is one of them.

Gerry: Take your lousy two-point-five back then, see if I care.

Voice (OS): (Laughs) Quite the contrary, my dear boy. Let's say, from now on, you have a boss.

Gerry: I have a boss, huh?

Voice (OS): That's right; you have a boss. I'm your boss. Don't get this confused, listen very carefully. Some gangs are already onto you 'playing the field'.

Gerry: Hold on. What do you mean?

Voice (OS): Come on, don't act so suprised. I want you to do something for me, which in return will help you in the near future, too. Can you trust me on this or not?

Gerry: I trust nobody but myself.

Voice (OS): As expected. But this time, it'd be in both of our interests if you were to do this. A piece of paper and your pay cheque for doing this are both taped under the phonebox. You do have a choice in this, but think about what I said. And one more thing before you go...

Gerry: What?

Voice (OS): Even if any of them did have information on Sean, they wouldn't tell you anyway. Finish this, and I promise I'll point you in the right direction.

The line goes dead and Gerry stands to his feet. He slides his fingers along the phonebox's bottom and grabs the list and the money and begins reading it. The mysterious voice from the other end of the telephone line reads the letter aloud for the player to hear.

Voice (OS): Erich Von Siege; Kristian Levesque; Donny Jackson; Jen Nanahura. Eliminate all four of them. Go and see my associate to get geared up. He rents a flat in Cherry Orchid.

Gerry: (Counts the money) There's gotta be atleast five grand here.

Gerry looks back up at the building once more before pocketing the cash and walking away as the screen fades to black.

You now have a black 'X' on the mini-radar for the block of flats in Cherry Orchid which is in Gadebridge City. Save your game first if you wish, if not, grab a car and speed over to the block of flats. There's a glowing purple marker by the voice box on the wall. Walk up to it and step into it for the screen to fade to black.

Time's Up [Part 2]

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry looks at the voice box before pressing the button on it. It beeps briefly. Gerry looks at the surrounding area while he waits. The scene is strongly familiar to the Staunton Island hideout safehouse from Liberty City. Static can be heard coming through the wire as a voice appears on the other end.

Voice (OS): Am I speaking with Gerald?

Gerry: (Pushes on the talk button) It's Gerry. And yeah.

Voice (OS): I got a call about fifteen minutes prior letting me know you'd be coming for some arms and armour.

Gerry: Armour, huh? That sounds about right, yeah.

Voice (OS): I left the garage to the right unlocked for you. It's the one with the green door. Everything you should want is in there, alright?

Gerry: Alright.

Gerry takes his thumb off of the 'talk' button and walks over to the garage as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

Gerry is standing beside the garage. The shutter is now up and a selection of weapons and armour can be seen floating and rotating. You can take a selection of three weapons and no more, so pick wisely. You have a choice of one automatic weapon, one assault weapon and one hand-held pistol. We're going to take the Uzi automatic pistol, as it's my favourite weapon, along with the AK47 as the assault weapon, and the .357 for some major damage on the pistol weapons. Each weapon will give 1,000 rounds of ammo.

There are three pieces of armour: classic body armour, leg plated armour and a SWAT-like headguard. Walk into each one and Gerry will pick them up and put them on. A message appears on-screen: "Depending on where you're hit in the body, classic body armour will not help if you're shot in the leg; you will recieve maximum damage. The same with the head applies."

The armour itself is still invisable, so you don't have to look at yourself running around in steel-plated legs and a helmet. Your armour will have a life-line also. Once you've selected everything, beside the voice box a glowing purple marker appears once again. Run over to it and step inside of it.

CUTSCENE

Voice (OS): So, you're planning on taking down four head figures of crime syndicates? Good luck with that. Hey, if you survive, (Laughs) come back and I'll buy you a beer.

Gerry: Alright, I'll hold you to that.

Voice (OS): I'm sure you will. Alright, here we go, as follows: Erich Von Siege can be found at his apartment. Do you know where this is?

Gerry: As a matter of fact I do, thanks to that big idiot Tank.

Voice (OS): Good, cos I sure don't. Next, Kristian Levesque will be at his gang's base of operations. I'm sure you already know where this is.

Gerry: I do.

Voice (OS): Good. Next up, Donny Jackson. There's a race taking place west of New Stanford upon the rocky mountains. It'll be tough out there - and cold, so I hope you're wrapped up warm. And finally, Jen Nanahura can be found at a building in south central Heart city.

Gerry: Got it.

Gerry takes his thumb from the 'talk' button.

END OF CUTSCENE

Four blips have appeared on the mini-radar, each blip is the gang's logo. First of all, we're going to assassinate Erich Von Siege. He's at his flat in Gadebridge City which you were taken to, so grab a bike or car and head over there. He will be the easiest one to take out. When you get there, walk into the purple marker beside the voice box on the wall.

CUTSCENE

Gerry: (Presses the 'talk' button) Erich, you in? It's Warren.

After a few moments, the entrance door unlocks.

Erich (OS): Come up, Warren.

END OF CUTSCENE

Open the door and go inside. Run up the stairs until you find his door. A message appears on-screen: "Blow the door to kingdom come and waste Erich." Take manual aim at the door with your AK47 and blast at it until it explodes. Run inside and you'll see Erich making a run for the open window.

Erich: Warren!? What the f*ck are you doing!?

Gerry: Higher orders now, 'boss'!

He's wearing body armour and leg armour, but trademark Von Siege style, no helmet. If you're good enough, take manual aim and shoot him in the head before he runs to the window and escapes, therefore making you chase after him in a vehicle. For the purpose of it, you pop him in the head and he dies then and there. Next.

Kristian Levesque, the blood drinking, yet smart talking French man is at his base of operations in the Wastelands. This means you're going to be going head on and attacking. Grab a car and speed over there. Park into the purple marker.

CUTSCENE

Gerry skids whatever you were driving to a stop, causing dust to scatter everywhere. He steps out of the car or off the bike and starts walking towards the door. It opens up, and the man with short red hair and glaring red eyes opens it up and smiles at Gerry.

Man: Warren, brot--

Gerry aims the .357 at the Brood member and blows his head clean off. His body falls backwards and onto the floor as Gerry steps over it and goes inside, where Kristian is sitting on a brown arm chair, with Lynn sitting on his knee, and stunned Brood members all over the room.

Kristian: Brother Warren here has decided to part ways with us it seems. A tragic shame really.

END OF CUTSCENE

Bombarded with a hailstorm of bullets, quickly begin firing back at the closest Brood member. Kill every last one of these freaks, and when you do, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry looks at a dozen and a half of dead bodies around him, breathing heavily himself, as Lynn and Kristian remain seated.

Kristian: Well, let's get this over with then. Lynn, leave please.

Lynn: But--

Kristian shoves Lynn off of his knee and stands to his feet. She crashes onto the floor and begins crying. Sobbing, she stands up and runs out of the building as Kristian lifts the cushion of the arm chair up, pulling out a combat shotgun and aiming it at Gerry as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

Kristian's wearing no armour, but that shotgun is enough to put you down for good. Make sure you get the first shot, and put him underground. The second his blood-soaked body hits the floor, waste no time; grab the shotgun and move.

Donny Jackson's competing in a race on the rocky mountains. The hardest part of this one should be the long drive to get there. The bridge leading to it is now open, so grab a car and drive over there. His blip-logo will be moving, so chase after it. Once he comes into view, he's in a silver Bullet. Drive alongside him and start doing a drive-by on him. Other cars that are racing will begin ramming into you, but not firing back. Try to avoid punishment and blow Donny Jackson's car to smitherenes, and once you do so, the other cars shall speed off and leave you be.

The finale: Jen Nanahura. Get to the large building he's at and drive into the purple marker. This will be the hardest of all four, so if you're injured, you should find an armour spawn somewhere and recharge - or health if you have no armour left. The second you park into the purple marker, you'll be under fire from Triads who are guarding the building at the front doors and from on the bikes parked out front.

Kill them quickly and go inside. A wave of Triads will come from all over the neatly suited building and try to kill you. Kill 'em first. A second wave will come, kill 'em. A third wave will come, kill 'em. The screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera fades in with Jen sitting on a desk in a room high up on one of the top floors. His arms are crossed and he looks sad, as Gerry walks into the room holding his AK47. He shrugs his shoulders and takes aim as Jen looks into his eyes.

Jen: Why?

Gerry: I didn't come here to make friends. If something needs doing, it gets done. Goodbye, 'boss'.

Gerry pumps round after round into Jen, who is blown backwards from the desk and onto the floor. Gerry drops the AK47 on the floor and begins walking away, as Jen slowly gets to his feet.

Jen: Don't you ever dare walk away from an enemy without making sure they're dead first.

Gerry stops at the doorframe. He stands still, as Jen falls backwards into the window and bangs his head on the glass and slides down it, slumping into a sitting position on the floor with his eyes wide open. Gerry closes his eyes and sighs and walks out of the room as the screen fades to black.

Wanna gimme money for it then? Haha, I kid, I kid. Here's a new mission. sh*t's getting deep now *makes scary ghost noises* WoOoOo. This is another long one, so read it in parts if you wish; cos it'll be about five days before a new mission surfaces.

===

===
===

You're standing outside of the Triad building where you just assassinated Jen Nanahura in the previous mission. Gerry has just picked off four out of ten gangs in the state, but the gang members will still plague the streets. What happens now?

Get onto a Triad bike and speed over to your motel. When you get on, the radio will report gang-related murders all over the state which occurred just hours ago. Get to the motel and go into your room and save your game. Once you've saved your game, you'll have a note on the door outside of your room. Go out and read it.

"Good work. Get to our usual meeting point and I'll return the favour."

A black phone icon has appeared on the radar at Savage Heights. Go outside and grab your Banshee and speed over there. Get out of the car and walk through the alley and walk into the black marker and the screen will fade.

The Caribbean Cartel

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry has his hands on his waist and looks miserable with what he just did. He's slowly walking around the phonebox spot and is becoming noticeably frustrated with awaiting the phone to ring. It begins to ring, and instantly he grabs the reciever and picks it up, putting it next to his ear, breathing into the phone heavily.

Voice (OS): Gerry, what's wrong? Running around all over the place got a man of your age and wisdom all tired out?

Gerry: No. You know what's wrong! That wasn't worth going through for a sh*tty five grand! You can keep whatever you've got to offer; and from now on, I'm going to do things my way!

Voice (OS): Woah, woah, woah. Settle down, Gerry. I'm just messing with you. Now, didn't I say I was going to point you in the right direction?

Gerry: Alright... Alright, tell me so I can get on with things. I've made some money and I've made some contacts. I'm ready to go.

Voice (OS): Alright then. Now, before you flip out at me and demand I tell you who murdered Sean, remember, this to me is like...well, a game. I know who the man or woman is that killed your son, but it's not just if you don't find out for yourself. Can you understand?

Gerry: I can. Just tell me what you know.

Voice (OS): In another life, me and you could possibly of been the best of friends - or brothers. I've put word through to Alexandre Capelo, head of the Caribbean Cartel that you're going to be doing some work for him.

Gerry: Wait, what do you mean? How does this help me?

Voice (OS): You're on your own to figure that one out, amigo. Happy hunting. I'll be in touch.

Gerry: Wait!

The line goes dead and Gerry throws the reciever at the grubby brick wall the box is attatched to and walks away as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

You now have a sunset over the ocean with a palm tree as an icon on your mini-radar. This, obviously is for the Caribbean Cartel. You now have nine out of ten open gangs to work for thanks to the anonymous caller. If you've read through Heart City Stories and Heart City and you're a smart guy, you'll figure out why the anonymous caller put you in the direction of the Caribbean Cartel. Now, go and save your game and grab your Banshee or Nebula and speed over to Alexandre Capelo's mansion in the north-west corner of Gadebridge City and park into the pink marker for the screen to fade.

Public Assassination

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry slowly gets out of the car and looks up at the overwhelming site that is Alexandre Capelo's mansion. He shields the slight sun from his eyes and stares up at it in amazement. He walks up the stairs and sees an intercom attatched to the wall on the inner-corner of the wall next to the door, and a camera watching over him. He buzzes the intercom and a voice comes through after a few moments.

Voice (OS): Yes?

Gerry: Yeah, uh, hi. I'm Warren.

The intercom goes dead for a moment and then the large brown doors unlock. A slightly older and wiser Alexandre Capelo opens the door, suited in a red hawaiian shirt and white trousers, along with black shoes and long fading white hair, combed back over his head.

Alexandre: Ah, right, right, Warren Heights. Yes, I do infact recall getting a little message left on my phone about you. Come in.

Alexandre steps to the side and Gerry starts walking inside. A dark red Infernus skids to a stop at the bottom of Alexandre's steps and narrowly misses the car Gerry arrived in. Nate Barcalow steps out of the car and Alexandre smiles when he sees him. Nate walks half way up the stairs and Alexandre calls down to him.

Alexandre: Nate! About time you got over here.

Nate gets to the top of the stairs and looks eye to eye with Gerry. He smiles.

Nate: You're the guy who was helping Brian and Gary out, are you not?

Gerry is visably un-easy about being around Nate, but he offers a handshake to his unknown antagonist.

Gerry: Yeah, that's right. You're Nate, right?

Nate: Yeah.

Nate's smile is wiped from his face after locking hands with Gerry. They stare at each other for what feels like an eternity before Alexandre laughs and breaks it up.

Alexandre: Alright, now I feel a lot easier about trusting you if Nate here says you're helping out Brian and Gary.

Gerry: Kids need a father figure.

This cracks Alexandre up and he slaps Nate on the back as he laughs so hard he begins violently coughing. Nate is not amused and stays straight-faced, with his arms folded until Alexandre calms down.

Alexandre: Alright. Nate, you ready?

Nate: Got everything in the trunk.

Alexandre: Good...

Alexandre raises an eyebrow and looks at Gerry for a moment and then puts his arm around his shoulder.

Alexandre: (Looks over at Nate) How about you take Warren with you? It'll be good exposure for him, I'm sure.

Nate stares at Alexandre in disbelief for a moment, then stares at Gerry. He motions with his head for him to follow along, and Nate begins walking out the door as Gerry pulls away from Alexandre and starts following.

Alexandre: Father figure...

Alexandre bursts out laughing once more as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

You're at the bottom of the stairs standing next to Nate. He casually walks over to his Infernus and gets inside the passenger's seat. Get into the driver's seat and a purple blip has appeared on the radar, and an in-game chat will begin.

Gerry: So where are we headed?

Nate: You're not from around here, are you?

Gerry: No. Why?

Nate: No reason. Brian and Gary said you're alright, so I guess you're alright in my eyes, too. We're going to a public assassination. Chancellor Michael Gordan will be holding a speech about the reported gang murders a few hours ago, and this is set to spark a war. Alexandre sees it bad for his interests, and wants him taken out infront of the entire nation.

Gerry: Proving the point that the underground can't be stopped.

Nate: Stole the words from right out of my mouth. You ever used a Dragunov Rifle from long distance before?

Gerry: I'm ex-forces.

Nate: Then you're no stranger to heavy weaponary. Good. And avoiding unwanted attention?

Gerry: I'm forty-four years old and I've never seen the inside of a cell once. You just sit back and enjoy the ride on outta there.

The in-game chat will end here. Get to the blip on the radar, which is a purple marker outside of the city hall in Gadebridge City. A lot of media and public are gathered around outside already. When you park into the marker, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry stops the car and looks at all the people outside, as Nate gets out of the Infernus and goes to the trunk. Gerry pops it from inside the car and Nate takes a black dufflebag out. He comes back around to the car and throws the bag inside and unzips it, revealing pieces of a Dragunov.

Nate: I'd rather you do the hit and I drive, but I can't take the risk of you blowing this for Alexandre.

Gerry: Do what you've gotta do.

The screen fades to black as Nate begins walking away with the Dragunov.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera comes in with Gerry sitting in the car. He's fiddling with the radio tuner and he gets through on the public speech the Chancellor is about to present to the entire nation. He sits back in his seat and starts the ignition.

Chancellor (OS): Thank you, thank you. Usually I'd start a speech off with powerful words from a previous Chancellor, left to us before his resignation or retirement...but today, I'm not going to do this. Today, I'm going to--

The sound of the Dragunov can be heard faintly, and screams blast through the radio, startling Gerry slightly. A few moments pass and Nate comes from the side of the building with the Dragunov Rifle slumped over his left shoulder. He approaches the car and gets into the passenger's seat and turns the radio off, not making eye contact with Gerry.

Nate: Time to go.

END OF CUTSCENE

Your wanted level has now been boosted to five stars, and FBI cars will be everywhere, with roadblocks covering all major exits. A blip has appeared for a pay 'n' spray in Gadebridge City. Get to it and lose the attention of the FBI. The radio will begin playing auto messages after you lose the heat, of how a man in a black leather coat assassinated the Chancellor and avoided fire from bodyguards, calmly leaving the scene of the crime, exiting in a dark red Infernus.

A blip on the radar has appeared. Start driving to it, and you'll soon see it's not for Alexandre's mansion. Keep following the blip and you'll be taken out into the countryside of Gadebridge City. The marker is outside of a large house made only of wood. Park into it and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Nate gets out of the car and slams the door and starts walking towards the wooden house.

Nate: Well, Alexandre always did like a good driver. I'll put a word in for you with my own boss.

Gerry watches Nate climb the steps of the wooden house and open the door and go inside as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

His motive for the entire game is to find Sean's killers, but with that motive comes the objective of money - he needs a lot of it because he knows he'll need weapons, places to stay [the safehouse is a motel which gets charged every day. This is your only safehouse through the game if I remember, so that means a lot of driving back and forth to it]. You get the idea. He isn't out to take over the cities like Sean ended up going for along with catching the person who put him in jail.

Also I realized there are no planes in the game, other than cutscenes, just choppers.

You're sat inside of the Infernus just a few feet away from Suni Xu's old house from the original game, which Nate just entered in to. You recieved no pay for this mission, as you're proving your worth to Alexandre, and he won't pay you until you have done so. The radio will continue to report the sucessful assassination on Chancellor Gordan until you finish the next two missions. Seeing as these are the only missions available at the present time, go and save your game at the motel and then head over to Alexandre's mansion and walk into the pink marker for the screen to fade out to black.

Helping Hand

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera comes in with Gerry just knocking on Alexandre's door. The camera slowly turns and focuses on him, and he looks up at it briefly before the door is opened by Alexandre, who's talking on a cell phone. He moves aside and lets Gerry in and closes the door behind himself and begins leading Gerry through the large wooden entrance hall and into the lounge area.

Alexandre: So you just f*cking left it there?! You really are a f*cking incompetent buffon! I'll have your head the moment our paths cross again!

Alexandre throws the phone on the desk with slight force. It bounces off and lands on the floor, as Alexandre pours scotch into a glass and hands it to Gerry. Alexandre takes a cigarette box from his pocket and sits down in the large white leather couch near the window.

Alexandre: I need of you a favour, Warren.

Gerry: Go on.

Alexandre: One of my men hijacked a truck, full to the brim with juice, but they've been rightfully paranoid since a few gangs have died down so suddenly around here. (Laughs) This should mean more power and product pushing for us, but not while La Resistance is around f*cking things up for us and my associates. They rigged the truck with a tracker, and they followed it. My man fled, not even putting up a fight.

Gerry: Just give me the location.

Alexandre: (Claps his hands together and rubs them) That's what I love about you! It's in Ridgeshaw, a parking lot, I think. He took the keys with him when he fled, so they're guarding the thing until they can get a truck to come lift it.

Gerry downs the scotch in one and tosses the glass on the table and walks away as Alexandre lights the cigarette and the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

You're standing right outside the front door of Alexandre's house. A green blip has appeared on the radar for the stationary truck, which is in the Downtown area. Alexandre has an assortment of fast cars in the garages beside his house, so run over there and pick one out. We're gonna grab a neon green Stinger 2008. Make your way to Ridgeshaw and when you get near to the blip, many small blue blips appear on the radar for La Resistance members guarding it. All the members are wielding M16 rifles, so start off by running some over until your car catches fire - because it will, quite quickly.

Bail from the car when it begins to spark at the bonet and try to make it land near a group of La Resistance members, for the explosion to wipe them out. Pick off the remaining La Resistance members and take their M16 ammo if you wish. Another wave of La Resistance members are coming in their Esperantos. When they arrive, take them out quickly and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry opens the bonet of the truck and leans inside. The camera shows him hotwiring it, and soon after the ignition flares and Gerry closes the bonet back down and gets into the truck. His phone begins to ring as he's about to reverse out of the parking lot and he answers it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Alexandre (OS): Warren! They rigged the truck with a bomb! Get all the juice to my lockup in Warner Junction and get the f*ck outta there!

Gerry: What?

A beeping sound begins and Gerry's eyes widen. He hangs the phone up and puts it away as he frantically opens the door and gets out of the truck and steps back from it. He looks around and sees a La Resistance gang car parked along the curb. He runs over to it and gets inside of it.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "Back the car up to the rear end of the truck." Do as it says. Another message appears on-screen: "Get out of the car and transfer the drugs from the truck into the trunk of the car. You have roughly ten minutes until it blows."

Press the triangle button next to the back of the truck and Gerry will jump onto the back of it and open the shutters. Inside is nothing but endless packages. Gerry will start transfering as many as the trunk can hold, and a timer begins counting down from ten minutes on the right hand side of the screen. When it's full, Gerry will stop transfering. A purple blip has appeared on the radar and a message appears on-screen: "Take the car to the garage in Warner Junction, then collect another car and go back for more."

The garage isn't too far from the truck, just half way across the Downtown area. A glowing purple marker is outside of the garage, so drive the Esperanto into it and the shutters to it will open. Park it inside, get out, jack a new car and go back to the green blip on the radar, which is the drugs truck. You'll have to repeat this two more times after the first car, and should be done with about two minutes to spare. If you crash the cars and they catch fire, you'll fail the mission, as they're full with the coke that Alexandre wants. After you park the third car in the garage, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry takes his phone out of his back pocket as the shutters to the garage close. He walks across the street to a barrage of a heavy traffic pile-up as he gets an answer.

Gerry: Alexandre, I got it all away in time.

Alexandre (OS): Great work, Warren. I must repay you some other time, I'm busy with the man who let me and the Cartel down right now, I must go.

Screaming can be heard in the background of the phone, as the line then goes dead, and the screen fades to black.

You're standing underneath a motor city junction, across the street from the garage where you just stashed Alexandre's drugs. Make your way back to the motel and save your game, because you don't want to accidently die and lose your progress after doing that long, long mission. Grab your car and speed across the bridge and through Gadebridge City and over to Alexandre's mansion and get out when you arrive and walk into the pink marker to begin the mission.

Daylight Bombings

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry is already inside of the lounge area of Alexandre's house. Both of them are seated opposite each other and each drinking a glass of rum and talking. Alexandre's phone rings and vibrates on the glass table seperating each couch. He leans over and picks it up and answers it, putting it next to his ear as he does so. Alexandre stays silent for a moment before speaking.

Alexandre: This is big. You can't just land this on me without warning; I employ you to find out about these things in advance, you imbessile. f*ck you!

Alexandre hangs the phone up and looks at Gerry. Gerry rubs his chin and can't help but laugh, which in return makes Alexandre lighten up and laugh aswell.

Gerry: Nothing's so big that I can't handle it for you. What needs to be done?

Alexandre stands up, finishing off his rum and putting the glass on the table. He begins walking towards the staircase back out in the hallway.

Alexandre: Follow me.

Gerry downs the remainder of rum and quickly follows Alexandre, as he leads him upstairs.

Alexandre: A big deal is taking place between Zaibatsu pharmaceuticals and a big-time corporation from overseas today. Me, Nate and some other people have been discussing courses of action to take against the deal for weeks, but we never anticipated it'd be today of all days, what with the gang wars sparking all over the state because of the indicents over the past week.

Alexandre leads Gerry up another staircase as he tries ringing people on his cell phone. They arrive at the door leading to the roof and Alexandre stops by it.

Alexandre: Guess I'm forced to put all my faith into you on this one, seeing as Nate and Loki are unavailable.

Gerry: Gee, thanks.

Alexandre: It's not that I don't trust you; you've been a God-send these past few days...it's just, I've known Nate a lot longer than you, and know he can get things done without failure. He's killed so many people and done so many things, it's hard getting other people to do them for you when you're used to a go-to guy.

Alexandre opens the door and they go out onto the roof. The sky is pitch black with only a full moon glowing and lighting everything below the sky. On the helipads sit a Hydra plane and a military Hunter helicopter. Alexandre hands a pair of keys to Gerry.

Alexandre: Nathan mentioned you're ex-forces, so the Hunter should be no problem for you.

Gerry: Hold on, what do you want me to do exactly?

Alexandre: Fly over the deal and eliminate everybody and everything down below. Do this, and you'll of gained my utmost respect.

Gerry looks at the Hunter chopper and then back at Alexandre, then starts walking towards it. He climbs up the helipad staircase and opens the door to the Hunter and gets inside and closes it. Alexandre watches on as the propellers start up, and the chopper begins gaining height as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

You're in flight and brief messages appear on-screen on how to operate the Hunter for new players. Regular players will already know. There's no blip on the radar for now so you're free to fly around and get practice. After thirty seconds, you'll hear your phone ring. Gerry will answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Alexandre (OS): How're you handling it?

Gerry: Brings back memories.

Alexandre (OS): Good. The deal's taking place Downtown, just south of the old train station grounds, miles from any civilization, so go nuts. But be careful, and may your God be with you, Warren.

A green blip has now appeared on the mini-radar. Start flying towards it, and when you get near to it, what seem like hundreds of blips begin appearing all over the place down below. A message appears on-screen: "Make sure you leave nothing and no one down there."

You'll soon be under fire from automatic machine pistols, but they won't do too much damage unless you spend too long trying to kill them. Tilt the Hunter foward and start firing missiles, bombs and the machine gun to the targets below: groups of Zaibatsu and the corporation from overseas, single Zaibatsu and corporation members and their vehicles. Once you've blown everything to sh*t down below and no blips remain on your radar, your phone will ring once more. Gerry will answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Alexandre (OS): You pulled it off?

Gerry: Of course.

Alexandre can be heard cheering on the other end of the line for a few seconds before continuing.

Alexandre (OS): Keep the chopper, dump it, I don't care; just don't bring it back here. I'm sure Nate will understand that I had to dispose of it. Warren, I take my hat off to you. I'm gonna go on vacation for a week or two I think, let things die down. See you soon.

The line goes dead. A message appears on-screen: "Dispose of the military helicopter." Land it and get out and step back then blow it up with a heavy gun or grenades and the mission is complete.

Mission Passed.

The screen didn't fade out after the previous mission, so you're exactly where it left you off at: infront of a flaming Hunter. After ten seconds, your cell phone will start to ring. Answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Nate (OS): Hey, it's Nate. My boss wants to talk with you. Get to the house you dropped me off at. Remember where it is?

Gerry: Yeah.

The line goes dead, and there is now a logo much like the Triads had, apart from it being a red and black circle, with the dragon inside of it, and two katana swords crossing over the dragon. It's a long way back to any main roads, so you'll have a journey ahead of yourself, as the meeting that took place in the prior mission was a long way from any life. When you get to a road, jack a car and go save your game at the motel in the Downtown district. Once you've saved, make your way to the house/cabin in the country side of Gadebridge City. When you get there, walk into the glowing magneta marker and the screen will fade to black.

First Impression

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry drags his boots along the tatty and uncut dead grass, covered in frost and climbs up the wooden steps and onto the porch. Gerry's breath can be seen forming in the air from the sheer coldness. He rubs his hands together and then breathes into them and makes three firm knocks on the wooden door, then steps back slightly. Suni Xu, the oyabun of all Yakuza factions this side of the Atlantic opens the door. He's suited in a black blazer jacket, slick black trousers, and a loose red t-shirt, along with a gold chain with a cross pendant hanging down inbetween his pecks. He smiles and moves aside, as Gerry eyes him over and slowly walks into the well-lit living room, with a fireplace in the corner, silk curtains, animal fur rugs everywhere, and white leather couches.

Suni: (Shuts the door and puts his left hand out) My name's Suni Xu.

Gerry: (Accepts the southpaw handshake) Warren Heights. Nate told me--

Suni: Nate told you to come and see me, I know, relax. (Sits down on the white leather couch and looks up at Gerry) You want a job?

Gerry: As in, under contract to you?

Suni: (Chuckles) And an annual salary, too? Come on. Do you want a job or not?

Gerry: Yeah, as a matter of fact.

Suni: Good. You just come right out and say what's on your mind, because you're not gonna get far in life if you don't do that. I want you to work alongside some of my wakashu, if they think you're up to standards, I'll have more work for you at a later date. It's rare I'll put someone not of Japanese descent under contract, because usually things f*ck up, and when things f*ck up, those people find themselves chained to stones at the bottom of the sea, 'sleeping with the fishes' as the mafia gorillas would say.

Gerry: Understood.

Suni: Good. Nate said you did well driving for him, and my personal friend, Alexandre said you did some nice work for him. But I'm not Alexandre. Prove yourself to me, and you can have anything you want. Fast cars, expensive arms, pussy coming out your ass. Maybe a little viagra for that last one, too. But if you try to screw us, you'll end up in the same boat as the long line of names before you: dead.

Gerry: Understood.

Suni: Good. Go and meet one of my top men, Shuya Ulquiorra. I want you to go and collect protection money from some people who are three hours late. Kill them if they don't oblige.

Gerry walks away as Suni stands up and puts his hands in his pockets and slowly begins walking around. The screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

Go outside and there is a purple blip on the mini-radar inside of the garage for a Yakuza Infernus. Get into it and a white blip appears on the mini-radar in north Gadebridge City. Make your way to it and you'll arrive at a pay 'n' spray, where a Japanese man in a teal coloured t-shirt and jeans, along with a bandana over his long black hair can be seen laying on the floor working on a black PCJ bike. A small purple marker is beside his body, so get out the car and walk into it.

Shuya: You got here way too fast, dude. Gimme a minute to clean up.

Shuya stands to his feet and wipes his hands with a piece of cloth.

Shuya: Alright, lead the way.

Take Shuya back over to the Infernus and get inside. A green blip appears for a large brothel in west Gadebridge City. Speed over to it and when you arrive, you'll start to notice this area is largely different from than in the original and in Heart City Stories; it's run down, and ghetto. Loud rap music can be heard all over the block, and prostitutes are scattered everywhere, aswell as dope dealers. Park into the purple marker just outside of the door and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry and Shuya are walking down the broken and cracked pathway and arrive at a boarded-up door. Shuya sighs, and Gerry looks at him.

Shuya: This is your first collection for the boss, isn't it?

Gerry: Yeah.

Shuya: Odds are, things won't go too smoothly...they never do for newbies. Just a heads up, that it could be a test of worth.

Gerry: Alright...thanks.

Gerry takes a 9mm pistol from behind his back, even if you don't have one in your inventory, and puts it down the front of his trousers, then tucking his shirt over it. Shuya slams his black boot into the door and it flings open with such force it hits the wall on the inside. Both men walk inside and the camera shows some stunned pushers and shooters and a few prostitutes on their knees infront of the pushers on the haggard brown couches.

Shuya: Where the f*ck's Scotty in this dump!?

A short blonde haired man in a black wifebeater and jeans comes through a door, carrying a shotgun over his shoulder.

Shuya: Suni wants his money, Scotty.

Scotty: It's coming. Why don't you give him this message from me?

Scotty pumps the shotgun and fires it at Shuya and Gerry. Both of them dive out the way and the door is hit, exploding into chunks of wood, splinters and dust instantly. Scotty starts running, and both the men and women in the room stand to their feet, each holding semi-automatic weapons.

END OF CUTSCENE

Shuya: Take 'em out and kill that idiot.

Shuya will take cover behind a chair, ducking in and out shooting at the men and prostitutes. You're in the open, so run over to the opposite chair and crouch down. You can't use auto-aim whilst crouching, but standing and exchanging fire with a dozen men and women will probaly waste you. Manually aim at them all and take each of them out, and you'll save a lot of health. At times, random men and prostitutes will run into the brothel from outside. When you've killed them all, an upward white blip appears on the radar for Scotty. Shuya will start jogging over to the staircase. Follow him or take over and go find Scotty in a bedroom. He'll take a shot with the shotgun, so either take it or dodge it if you can, then blast him to death. When he goes down, the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Scotty is laying face down, breathing heavily as blood runs from his eyes and nose, forming a puddle. Gerry and Shuya stand over him.

Shuya: What was that message you wanted me to pass to my boss again?

Scotty: Alright. (Coughs violently) You'll get the money, just get me to a hospital.

Shuya: (Looks at Gerry) Get him to a hospital before he bleeds out. I've got better sh*t to do than this.

Shuya walks away as Gerry shakes his head, leaning down picking up Scotty by his arms and slumping him over his shoulders, and the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry emerges from the brothel with Scotty over his shoulders, with blood covering his shirt and trousers. He takes him over to the Infernus and opens the passenger door and throws him into it and slams the door shut. He walks across the front of the car and gets to the driver's side and opens the door and gets inside.

END OF CUTSCENE

A health bar has appeared for Scotty in the right-hand side of the screen, and it's quickly declining. A medical syringe has appeared on the radar for the nearest hospital in Gadebridge City. Drive him to it and make sure you don't let him take too many bumps. Park into the purple marker and Gerry will automatically exit the car, and you won't be able to move him. Some male nurses rush out the hospital and open the door and collect him and start walking him into the hospital. The mission is now over.

Mission Passed.

Get back into the car and drive over to the motel and save your game and head back over to Suni's house in the countryside and walk into the magneta marker for the screen to fade to black.

Long Vacation

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The same as the previous mission, Gerry walks up the wooden staircase and knocks on the door. A few moments pass, and Loki opens the door. Suited in a white t-shirt and tight dark jeans, he smiles at Gerry and walks past him and down the steps without a word. Suni greets Gerry as Loki gets into a dark red Infernus and drives away.

Suni: Now, I'm not usually one to be paranoid, but the past couple of weeks have been enough to send any sane man over the edge. A good friend of mine, his young daughter has been kidnapped and held ransom. Because he's rich, the kidnappers have demanded obscene amounts of money for her safe return. I refuse to let this travesty go ahead.

Shuya approaches the wooden staircase leading to the porch and folds his arms and leans against the frost-covered wood with his shoulder.

Suni: My friend's leaving a briefcase in the airport terminal. The kidnappers are going to collect it. You make sure they don't get a penny of anything in that briefcase. My best of the best has just left to retrieve his daughter. I'm sorry you two couldn't of had a little chat before he left, but I'm sure your paths will cross soon enough. I've got a face you're familiar with assisting you.

Suni looks over Gerry's shoulder to Shuya. Shuya, who was staring at Suni turns his head away and starts walking towards the Yakuza Infernus parked a few feet away. Gerry turns around and watches him walk away, as Suni leans in.

Suni: I'm so tired of him, it's unbelievable. The Oyabun of Japanese territory sent him over because he couldn't deal with him anymore.

Gerry: I've gotta admit, he's not too friendly, no.

Suni: He'll be taking a long vacation after he gets to the airport. When you get the briefcase, get outta the way and let my men do what they've gotta do.

Suni steps back inside the cabin and shuts the door, as Gerry turns around and looks at Shuya in the passenger seat of the Yakuza Infernus, looking out of the window with a blank stare on his face. He starts walking down the few wooden steps as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

You're inside of the Yakuza car, and a purple blip has appeared on the radar at the Gadebridge City airport. Start driving there, and an in-game chat between Gerry and Shuya will begin.

Shuya: You know he's gonna betray you when he's finished using you, don't you?

Gerry: Sit there and be quiet.

Shuya: Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you.

The chat will end here. Drive to the airport and park into the purple marker outside and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry and Shuya enter into the airport terminal. The camera cuts to two large men in black jackets watching as a man in a long brown coat puts a black briefcase on the floor and walks away from it. They look at each other and nod.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "Get the briefcase."

Start running, and Shuya will follow you. There's an orange blip on the radar for the briefcase which isn't too deep into the terminal. You'll see it floating on the floor and slowly spinning around, the same as a weapon. Run into it and Gerry will pick it up.

Voice (OS): He's got the briefcase!

You won't see any men, but you'll be heavily under fire. A purple blip has appeared back at the door of the airport terminal. Start running to it. People will be screaming and running around like headless chickens, and bullets will be flying everywhere. You'll probaly take some damage at random times, but don't stop to try and shoot anybody, because you won't see them. When you arrive at the door, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry is running towards the door with Shuya behind him. Shuya gets clipped in the back of the leg and he yells and drops his Uzi and falls to the floor. Gerry looks down at him and then through the glass doors, as Yakuza Infernus' begin pulling up, and men dressed as Yakuza members, but with black shades and shaved heads begin pouring out.

Gerry: (Leans down and helps Shuya up) Come on, time to return the favour for the heads up you gave me yesterday.

Large men in black coats begin appearing behind you, and a Yakuza hitsquad begins entering into the airport terminal. Gerry throws Shuya over an information counter as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

Everyone will start blasting everyone; it's a complete warzone, with men dying everywhere. You'll also be under fire quickly, so start shooting anyone who comes near you, and make sure nobody gets to Shuya behind the information desk. When you've killed everyone, the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry climbs over the information desk and Shuya stands up, looking down at the wound on his leg.

Shuya: Thanks, I guess.

Gerry: No need.

Shuya looks up at Gerry.

Shuya: So, Suni was planning to betray me, not you?

Gerry: It looks that way. Listen, you take this and skip town for a while. I'll tell Suni you took the hitsquad out, and I delivered the finishing bullet.

Shuya: You'd do that for me? You hardly know me.

Gerry: I get something out of it myself, so don't think it's all about you in this. I've got a very bad feeling about him, and I want to find out a little more information before I start getting deeper into this.

Shuya: (Looks around) Any idea on where I should go?

Gerry: I've got a place in San Fierro, I'll call you and give you the address when you arrive. Can you just tell me one thing?

Shuya: Anything.

Gerry: Did you know anyone by the name of Sean Wood?

Shuya: I'm not sure. I've really gotta go. I'll check some history and see if I can come up with the name, alright?

Gerry: Alright.

Shuya offers a handshake to Gerry, and Gerry shakes it. Sirens can be heard, and Shuya begins running through the wrecked airport terminal as the screen fades to black.

You're standing outside of the airport terminal from the previous mission, where Shuya fled to San Fierro. After a few seconds, your phone will begin ringing. Answer it.

Gerry: Yeah?

Suni (OS): What the f*ck happened!?

Gerry: He wiped your entire squad out. I saw it from atop the balcony, and I fired two shots down at him and killed him after he was done.

Suni (OS): (Breathes heavily) Good. Good job, Warren. And the briefcase?

Gerry: Got it on me.

Suni (OS): Bring it over here and we'll officially celebrate you taking Shuya's place in the Yakuza. Sound good?

Gerry: I hope you mean his position in rank, and not a dead slab of meat.

Suni briefly laughs over the phone and the line goes dead. Go and save your game then make your way over to Suni's countryside cabin and enter into the magneta marker for the screen to fade and to begin the mission.

Tisuchiya's Thumb

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry slowly walks up the stairs with the briefcase in his left hand. Before knocking on the door, Suni opens it up with anger pouring from his appearance. He tosses a pair of keys to Gerry and grabs the briefcase and throws it into the house and starts walking around on the wooden porch, as Gerry watches him.

Suni: Alright, taking the briefcase was a mistake. My waka-gashira went to retrieve my friend's daughter earlier and got himself in some trouble. Nate's away on business and Shuya's dead. sh*t, why didn't you kill him after this was resolved!? This is your fault, so you're gonna have to save him. They're keeping him in an abandoned factory in the Wastelands.

Gerry: How many men are there?

Suni: I don't know, I'm deploying men along with you to help retrieve him. I'm trusting you with these keys to Alexandre's mansion, to go up to his roof, there is a Hydra up there, it can hold about six. Some men are gonna go in through the front, Alexandre said you could fly, so you'll have to take them in from above.

Gerry pockets the keys and walks away as the screen fades to black with Suni walking back inside of his house.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Two dozen Yakuza members enter into Infernus' at the garages, as Gerry enters into one along with a Yakuza member.

END OF CUTSCENE

Some of the cars speed off. A health bar has appeared on the right-hand side of the screen, and is slowly declining. A purple blip has appeared for Alexandre's mansion, and a few of the Yakuza cars will follow your lead. A message appears on-screen: "Get the Hydra to the factory in the Wastelands and rescue Suni's waka-gashira!"

Speed out of the countryside and over to Alexandre's mansion. Park into the purple marker outside of it and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera fades in with Gerry running across the large roof, with Yakuza members running behind him. He gets over to the Hydra plane and opens the front and back doors. Yakuza members flood into it, and then Gerry climbs into it.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "Find the factory with Yakuza cars outside of the entrance." There won't be a blip on the radar, so fly over into the Wastelands and fly low to the ground and check large random buildings. When you find the right one, a message will confirm it: "He's inside. Land on the roof."

Fly the plane over the roof and start to land, when you're close to landing, the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The camera shows Gerry inside of the Hydra. He looks down below and sees a small skylight. He lands the Hydra on the ground and the camera shows the bottom of the Hydra pop open, and a rope ladder falls out and down to the floor below inside of the factory. Yakuza members begin deploying out of the Hydra and down the ladder, as Gerry gets out, and large men in black coats begin coming up to the roof.

END OF CUTSCENE

A message appears on-screen: "Stay on the roof and guard the Hydra!" Start firing at the men, who will fire back with Uzi machine pistols. More men will come up to the roof from the door at the side of the building leading up. Eventually, the men will stop coming, and a message appears on-screen: "Go and find Loki!"

At this point, Loki won't have much health left. Go through the door the men were coming in from and run down the stairs. You'll emerge in the same room as the ladder with the Hydra, and no blip appears on the radar for Loki. Start running through random rooms of the factory, and randomly you'll be under fire from men. When you find the room with Loki, the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

Gerry runs into the room, and a man with a combat shotgun fires at him. He jumps through the air and rolls along the floor and shoots the man with a 9mm pistol in the chest, even if you didn't have one in your weapon inventory. He sees Loki tied to a chair, blindfolded. He starts running towards him, and three men appear with shotguns. One fires at Gerry, and Gerry dives behind a generator.

Man: Did you get him?

Gerry rolls out from behind the generator and starts shooting all three men. They each go down, and he approaches Loki and rips his blindfold off. Loki's bleeding heavily from his right hand, and Gerry unties him.

Gerry: Come on, let's get you outta here before any more come.

Gerry looks at Loki's right hand, and his thumb's been brutally cut off. He grabs him by the wrist and drags him out of the room. The camera cuts to Gerry and Loki running into the first room you entered, with the rope ladder to the Hydra. He goes behind Loki and Loki starts climbing up, and then Gerry follows. Gerry gets to the top of the ladder, and men begin pouring into the room as the screen fades to black.

FADE IN: GAME PLAY

You're standing at the top of the ladder, with a view over the entire room. Start firing at the men and finish them off, then you'll be able to climb the remainder of the ladder and get into the Hydra, where Loki is waiting. A message appears on-screen: "Get Loki back to Suni's house."

A purple blip appears for Suni's house in the countryside. Fly over to it and land in the purple marker outside of the house and the screen will fade to black.

FADE IN: CUTSCENE

The Hydra lands as a dark red Infernus skids to a stop on the grass, and blows dirt and frost all over the Hydra. The door to the Hydra opens and Loki climbs out, sluggishly. He jumps down to the floor and falls over, gripping his hand in pain as it begins raining. The door of the Infernus opens, as Gerry gets out of the Hydra. Nate steps out of the Infernus and the front door of the cabin opens, where Suni comes out and walks down the steps. Nate stands over Loki and offers a hand to help him up.

Suni: Good work, Warren. You can go now.

Gerry watches as Nate helps Loki walk over to Suni's cabin. Nate looks back at Gerry briefly before continuing on. Suni walks over to them and Gerry begins walking away as the screen fades to black.
