CRASH!

When i start playing after a few seconds the game crashes

 

i have

 

Intel duo core 2.00 ghz

1 gb ram

256 mb video card

dvd rom 16x

intel chipset family

 

 

plz help

Try updating your video drivers. Have you changed any hardware? If you have, you need to delete the [.set] file in My Documents\GTA 3 User Files.

If that's not the case, then try running the game on a single core. Run the game, open Task Manager > Processes > right-click on gta3.exe and set the affinity to CPU 0.

Also, try Windows 98 compatibility mode.

It may be the Intel Chipset that's causing the crashing, as i used to have an intel chipset and the game used to crash sometimes.

oh well... at least ill be playing it on my grandmas computer. its from 2001 and it does not have an intel chipset
