It PAINS me to see that Vice City mirror in that kind of condition! Mine has a couple of slight scratches but nothing like that. I paid £10 back in 2009. Yep, £10. I nearly didn't bid because of the scratches!! (I like things perfect!)

An item i got recently that i wasnt aware existed, it's a LCS metal protective carry case for PSP. The guy who sold it to me said he worked for rockstar north for some 10 years and got this as an employee gift from the company for working on the game.

 

Anybody else seem these before?

Thanks for sharing images of it, I never saw anything like that. I saw a PSP bundle with VCS once, but it was just a normal PSP with the game's artwork on its box, nothing special. Your case looks great!

Not surprised at all that you got this. I also tried to get this item from not being active for so long. I'm a little rusty, but congrats to you buddy! It went to a well deserving home. 

 

So, I just realized that I was originally a lurker on this site back when I would try to assemble what was out there from Hell No's and Vicecity's collections. I joined several years ago, but never completed my registration/ profile.

Been collecting games since '02 with R* being one of my favorite companies to collect from. Sorry for the lack of a proper introduction, but it's been great flipping through all these pages and going through memory lane. All of you have great collections! I've been taking notes on what I've been missing which is still a lot. It's great to see so many people with similar passions congregate in this cyber space.

I do know that this item was actually listed by a different seller a couple of days ago, that is why he is using a stock picture from the rockstar games website, the item probably is still in the midst of shipping to him, it also went for a REALLY high price im talking four digit numbers, toysgamesplanet probably thought this was a good investment and decided to jump on it, however i dont think its really worth that much, i actually saw this once on some europe marketplace two or three months ago, i decided to not pick it up since i don't collect this type of merch, i am sure someone can find the original listing...

The link got pulled so will try again, for anyone who is interested, i am selling a BRAND NEW GTA IV Pool Cue, it comes with the Carrier Case and Chalk which are still sealed and never have been opened. The market value for this is around 350£ - 400£, i am willing to let this go for 250£. So for anyone interested please send me a message and i would be happy to help.

Also like some collectors on this forum, he was also able to secure some good merch from ebay seller: spumker who was a former employee at rockstar games (who actually designed the key to liberty city), For instance those employee kits, dead presidents rosettes e.t.c. and i was actually going to jump on some of the merch he was offering but passed like that LCS PSP case @mosavon got, i got there to late so most of the merch was already gone,  i do know that someone here on this thread was able to get the IV pool cue from spumker for a very good price, because i was initially going to buy that one, ironically i was able to get one just a few days ago aswell from another seller brand new (the one i am selling now) for a very good price hehe.

Anyway, as Uncle implied, let's keep it respectful with no unnecessary nonsense, like insults or shameless advertizing.

 

Just to drop my 2 cents on all this, I have nothing against @User123personally, nor do I want to poke my nose in how his or hers business is being run, it's just that I find those prices blown way out of proportions to say at least and that's counting the most 'valuable and rare' items they have for sale. After all, we can simply chose not to buy from that seller and that's exactly what we are doing, but in the end, many other sellers can get the wrong idea and then it's a problem of its own for everybody else, I guess.

 

To simplify things to its bare bones, there are only handful of GTA and Rockstar items that are truly unique and can be considered as ' ultra rare ' with 4 digits price.

 

I cannot help but to view this artificial prices pumping as a way to ultimately screw folks over and get tenfold the initial investment, or even more, but then again I just couldn't be that gullible to buy that VC Licence Plate for 700 GBP, not if I were to wipe my behind with that sum every day. Easy as that.

 

In the end that's why we are here - among numerous other and even more important related things - to give approximate prices estimates and to help our fellow collectors chosing the right items for the right prices.

Wow, awesome to have this bit of info! Thanks! I own this and the packaging it came in, and I was never sure if it was official merch or not

Sure thing! It's weird being back, it's been so long. I use Instagram for posting my GTA merchandise. I had an amazing set up in my old house, but sadly I moved recently. ( grand_theft_auto_fan_girl on IG ) But when I figure it out, I'll post some pictures here
