Good to know. I had some fond memories there's an MSX sampler as well but I wasn't sure if it comes on a vinyl or compact disc.

Hello im new

I got the red dead redemption 2 Pendleton blanket

Im wondering what would be the resale price

I need some money for a toy i want and i have limited time to gather funds

Heard and saw they go for more serious cash, but I hate giving 'precise' estimates. I've seen couple of them being all around 250 USD as of lately. Not sure would it sell immediately for that amount though. You be the judge.

There are three physical releases of parts of the GTA III soundtrack:

1. GTA III Soundtrack Sampler - Format: CD - Two variations, with EU and US boxart respectively. I don't know if there's any content difference between them. The EU version, at least, contains a selection of tracks from Game Radio and Lips 106, along with radio chatter.

2. GTA III Moving Shadow - Format: CD - Contains three tracks from MSX FM.

3. GTA III Game Radio - Format: Vinyl - Contains two tracks from Game Radio.

I have all three, but am missing the US soundtrack sampler and the sleeve from the Moving Shadow CD.

Watch out when bidding on toysgamesplanet's listings. I've noticed there are about two or three anonymous accounts which bid on all his items. It doesn't matter if they win the auction, toysgamesplanet relists later those items for a higher price. I suppose he's inflating the price, that doesn't seem fair on eBay. 🙈🙉🙊

Really, guy is nuts... He charges his R* stuff by its weight in gold, I believe. Outrageous prices, ridiculous. I avoid this kind of ppl, greedy af. He's charging GBP 850 on a VC pre order disc. It's a pity good merch end on hands of ppl like him.

^ I know theres a lot honest sellers on eBay as well as buyers. And also shady sellers and buyers. But Ive seen instances where sellers create different accounts and bid on their own items to raise the prices. So sometimes your basically biding against other  buyers and the very own sellers. scary tactic, like you say @undergroundvicious, if they dont get the amount of money from the bid, they cancel and relist it to another account sometimes with the same picture.. lol idiots. Trust me I've won auctions of rare gta related merch for was f*cking less in the 10 to 20 dollar range. And they just cancel the transaction. of course i leave negative feedback. DONT FALL TO THIS TACTIC MY COLLECTOR BRETHEREN.

@undergroundvicious well, there is more actually: he's not the owner of many items he sells.

For example, see this Max Payne 2 pin set. He got the picture from the internet, he's announcing it for ~ 399 GBP and he's taking offers on it. Why? Because someone else in France is announcing it for ~ 90 GBP. Make the right offer and he'll get a good piece of cake just buying from the original seller and providing your address.

How do I know this? Here you have: a few weeks ago he was announcing a GTA VC license plate for about 800 GBP (once again) and he was taking offers on it. He took the pictures from GTASeriesVideos' video in that case.

Those plates were available in Italy only, that's where I live. At the same time I was looking for that plate and I was searching eBay Italy and other local sites. I've found one on eBay Italy for 80 EUR, the seller was really close to me and the sale has been made outside eBay for a lower price, to avoid fees, etc.

Eventually, the seller didn't remove the listing (he was new on eBay) and a few days later he receives an offer from toysgamesplanet. I assume toysgamesplanet managed to get an offer good enough to cover the eBay fees and other costs, and make a profit from it.

I'm pretty sure he's doing the same with the Vice City skin disc. I'll try to find the original seller. However, sometimes he buys the item, for example: the GTA LCS umbrella he's selling for 150 GBP was bought in the US from chong_park for 30 USD. I check eBay almost daily for merch and I track most of the items.

I've reported a few listings and he blocked me on eBay, I cannot make offers anymore but I'm still able to see the listings. I was having fun offering ridiculous amounts.

I don't think I'm the right person to judge what this guy does for a living but it becomes annoying to be honest.

Original seller is called undeadmedia i missed out on this in a matter of seconds, originally it was listed at 10 dollars.... i have to ask, did he actually manage to sell of that license plate for 850£?, i know he also had a claude figure listed for the same price as a picasso, did he manage to sell those aswell? What people are buying his stuff, obviosuly the collectors community is a rather nichè market i would assume, so it must be people around our neck of the woods who are buying stuff from him.

I don't know if he managed to "sell" the license plate, but I know one thing for sure: the seller I got the plate from cancelled the purchase made my toysgamesplanet. Just in case of he reads this message: I have THAT plate. 😂

Of course, I've seen most of his items. I've reported a few of his listings where he was bidding with other accounts to increase the price.

I suppose he's free to bid, but he's doing so to resell it for x4 what it costs, spending months listed on eBay. That just affects most of us.

More like x15, No words...everyone should try to report him constantly when he does this sort of stuff, he is really affecting it for alot of us that is true, he even lies and says that he is a lifelong collector, what an assclown...

What really gets me is the idea that he can somehow make a profit from this, luckily i do believe that most collectors are on this forum, so if everyone is aware of avoiding toysgamesplanet and not fall for his antics and awareness is spread then he will have a much harder time doing this. Some of his items have been listed for quite some time i believe because people are not buying his stuff, he had one of his lousy gta 2 memory cards for a whopping 600 dollars haha, and look at the price now, still would never buy for that price though, who knows maybe he will change haha

ROCKSTAR MANIC

heres a little story I wanted to share with you guys. Sorry for my grammar. English isnt my first language. On the mist of these things that are happening with us collectors and sellers online. Heres something I was sharing with @undergroundvicious about finding rare items on sites. He's looking that hyper rare Gta 2 collectors edition for PC. a little long but hold in there. Just something Id like to share with everyone on here.

Do it. Trust me. Go into old archives and listings eBay has had. And you could find stuff, Ima tell you a story. about 4 years ago. I was looking for GTA 3 sealed for PS2( very first edition, black label) and I went on the some old eBay forums and listings, can't remember the website. But it was archived around 2005-06 when were transitioning to xbox 360 or ps3. Well, I found posts where people were trying to get rid of the old PS2 or xbox stuff. I found this listing of the exact copy of GTA 3 for ps2 sealed and all I couldn't believe it. Well of course its been years from those posts. And I wasnt sure anyone of those sellers were active or at least with the account anymore. Well I had found the exact copy I was looking for. I messaged the seller it had an AOL email account, lol I still remember people using that site for emails but i wasnt sure if AOL even existed anymore so I was skeptical to see if he still had the game sealed and all let alone getting an answer back. BOOM about few days passed and the seller had sent me a msg. I couldn't believe the dudes name popped up on my email with eBay on it. He sent me a msg telling me that he was going to check if he still had it because he had put a lot of items in storage but he wasnt on eBay anymore. He told me had a lot of items in boxes too that its been a very long time that he'had sold anything or been on eBay itself So he was kinda surprised that I actually went on old archives for eBay and actually got in touch with him. I Showed him screens of his postings and all to believe me, told me he actually remembered some of his listings. He was mostly a wholesales seller so he had a lot listings. Turns out he still had the game!!! So I told him about the price , so heres the catch. the listing for the game was at 10.00 USD free shipping, during the time of his listing. Well you know GTA3 first edition for ps2 is 100 USD or more for the longest time. Then he sent me a message about the price of GTA3 PS2 sealed and all, he was surprised it had gone up a lot. We talked about the prices, and I told him if he would honor the price. Told me he would think about it, so about a day passed.

Then I had got another message from him the next day. I was literally nervous before I opened the message on my email. Told me yes he would sell it to me. that he would honor the original price of 10.00 USD free shipping because I had gone to lengths to find this game and his post on the the seller listings archives from 05-06.  He told me he would reactivate his old ebay account for me so he could relist an old listing from 05 -06 or so and sent me a PM link so no one could buy it before me. SERIOUSLY! I couldn't  believe what I saw.  He actually accepted the original price. DUDE!, I WAS SO EXCITED!!!   GTA3  PS2 first edition sealed and new for only 10.00 usd.  I felt on top of the gta collectors world!!!  Made the transaction, payed him. Then sent him  a message of enormous gratitude. Even left me a feedback rating, lol someone from the past left me a rating. I Felt like a time traveler! lol!!  Told him about collectors like us looking for rare items from R*.  He just said thanks for going my way to do the whole thing on old archive of listings.  About a week passed and received the game so I knew it was legit. thanked him again.

I couldn't believe I got GTA3 PS2 first edition for 10 USD from someone of the past.

There you go, go back in time if you have to. You're bound to find things you are truly looking for. Go on old archives and listings from eBay or other sites where they sell. my best advice for us Collectors, if you really want something. GO look for it.

Sorry for the long rant, its just something I remembered and it still gets me excited. had to share it. Thanks though.

Thanks for sharing! I've been on your shoes before, it was incredible... More than once, actually twice (when I got 2 editions I wanted so much). I'm a hardcore GTA fan. To give you an idea how much hardcore I am, I remember EXACTLY where I was, who was with me, the time, when I first played GTA 1 in 1998, on a PS1, in a friend's friend house (I never had any console, usually played on PC). I was 9 years old - and I'm 30 now. It was magical... I was always obsessed with games, but that one, jeez, I felt in love with it. I got its name and decided to find it, I needed it!

After 1 year, I got a cd with a GTA 1 demo. I was so happy! I would be able to play it on my PC! It was just the demo, you had 5 minutes to do whatever you want on game. And I played it, over and over again... The timer didn't even bothered me, I just wanted to play the max I could. Riding the train, jumping on bridge, getting a School Bus and start smashing cops, do as many GOURANGA!s I could do, max missions in 5 minutes lol. Great, great times. I live in Brazil, a 3rd world country, and 90's were a big crisis here. A BIG one. Games were a rare thing, and for me, not from a miserable  family, but far from being rich, games were rare stuff. I barely could have access to them. GTA 1 demo was THE GAME in my life at that time.

After some years, my family got better financial condictions. But games were still rare around here. Then I got GTA 2 Demo lol - always on demos hahaha... Played THE sh*t outta that game too... Later I got a complete version, as GTA 1 as well, and they keep marking my life. As an adult, with a job, I've decided to get those games that were so distant from me when I was a kid - GTA 1 mainly. So I started collecting the entire franchise - aiming always PC versions, PC was my childhood, so I wanted the exactly versions when I was a kid and couldn't buy. Got GTA 1, GTA 1 Limited Edition (it was HELL ON EARTH to find this damn game, my gosh), and GTA 2 - I got the rest of the franchise too. But topdown view GTAs were my priority.

Now I hunt as an insane this GTA Director's Cut lol, hoping to find one to complete this collection. I even got a GTA London still sealed (pretty nice, uh?), but no Director's... But patience is a virtue, I believe it's a matter of time :)

The only games that made me felt like GTA 1 were GTA SA and Red Dead Redemption. RDR became my favorite game of life - even surpassing GTA 1. GTA 1 was my childhood, RDR was my adult game for life, so I started collecting Red Dead franchise too - by now I have a very nice collection from RD.

Anyway, I'd like to share this story with you too guys, specially you @ROCKSTAR MANIC. Collecting our beloved franchises is a hard, tough, rewarding and satisfactory thing. May we all complete our collections!

I love reading such stories guys, thanks for sharing.

I'm still "young" and THE GTA for me was Vice City, that's the game of my generation. Usually I tend to collect UK copies because they seem "the most complete" editions to me, and that's where GTA was born. I've explored Vice City from corner to corner, I consider it my favorite GTA. Here's the story about how I got my sealed copy: I've been looking for years on eBay for a sealed copy and nothing. I found a few US versions which were sealed but they were way too expensive and they weren't the "book" style I was looking for.

Finally, in a trip to Japan I passed in front of a shop and I noticed Sonny Forelli with his pink sunglasses on one of the stands. I thought "hey, it must be a Japanese copy distributed by CAPCOM" and I was curious to see it. As soon as I put my hands on it I noticed the UK 18 certificate with a glowy "Vice City" text, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing! I was like "this must be a rewrapped copy", but there were no signs of use, it was mint. Eventually, I've asked the seller about it and he told me a local "old man" sold it for a few bucks because he had bought the Japanese version shortly after buying the English one back in 2004 or 2005. Since no one had interest on an foreign copy the price was about 3000 JPY, that's ~ 25 EUR. After a more detailed analysis I can confirm the wrap is genuine, there are minor marks on the cellophane due age.

Seems that in Japan many people buy games abroad before they're launched locally for different reasons. For example, Vice City got some stuff censored in Japan.

t6fihv.jpg

As a fun fact, the complete GREATEST HITS soundtrack (with slipcover and map) was bought in Japan also, it's not sealed but it's almost in mint conditions.

Yeah, I know. It isn't a new information for me. But my opinion is that the original black cover is more beautiful.

@RIDE2DAY

Such a shame it looks that beaten up... I think there's even some kind of discoloration as well. Too many scratches and cracks for my taste when it comes to something that sought after and collectible.

I personally would never bother to pay that kind of money for any item in that condition no mather how rare it might be. Hell, I would say that would be a bit too much even for an exquisite piece. If achieving some kind of agreement for significantly lower price is an option, then there's room for thinking about it.

I don't know, but I've seen 1 go for around 200 Euros - it was remarkably preserved. One of the biggest GTA collectors I know of, sold his for 275 USD, also very good condition, only a few scratches, nothing major. I paid mine 200 Euros with shipping included. It's not because I have it, but I think I haven't seen one in better condition.

So, even though I can't say for sure, but from what I know and from what I have seen, the price of around 200 Euros is pretty much the real one. Of course, only for 'very good' to 'excellent' condition and that one seems far from it. Once again, you be the judge.

Edit: there's SA Bandana lurking in the mirror's reflection :)

Edit2: Seller has a listing of it - SA Bandana - along with regular Black Label NTSC PS2 copy (used) and a Cup Holder for 200 USD, which btw they characterized as " Special Edition " which ofc, it is not. And the price is 200 USD, which again, is nowhere near the real price, so maybe a thing to have in mind when approaching to buy anything from them.

Edit3: lol, it's a first time I'm seeing something like this, but the seller listed pretty much the same item for auction with a starting price of 100 USD.
