Has anybody seen this tee before ?

I can quite vividly remember a user mentioning it a long time ago on this thread , but that might just be a false memory or something like that ...

I have the white version t-shirt of this one, X-Large has done some collabs with Rockstar in the past particularly with GTA 3 ( Beanie for example)

@fairmanstuart and whoever else might be interested, you can check whether Johnny GTA Watson is still selling his. He mentioned himself, the mirror is a bit scratched, not quite in pristine condition, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind anyone asking and trying to strike a deal. Also, just like uNi said, not to many of these in circulation, indeed. Cheers!

Hi guys. I still have it but it’s not for sale. If I do sell it I will inform the forum first. Good luck with the hunt :)

I have the chance to get the full package but I don't know what a fair price would be. I guess it depends on the amount I'm willing to offer, but I'm not really sure to be honest. How much would you pay?

Thank you.

 yo man please could you pm me?  thanks :)

@fairmanstuart

I've managed to find this one digging through old RWH sites using wayback machine. As the image implies these are considered to be " Board Shorts "

Edit: Oh, didn't know " Stussy " supposed to be a brand, what can I say I'm an uneducated swine :)

Edit 2: Such a shame 90% of the things is irrecuperable from those old RWH sites... smh

This one seems to be more classy one:

Stussy ones but packed:

Anyway, I'm personally not into attire - not that much at least - but the only pair I saw was on ebay and even the price was pretty darn good.

Sadly, the best bet is to check on Ebay, but I haven't seen them there for a while. There's maybe couple of separate ones that are being sold - best case scenario. So, a waiting game and checking ebay from time to time.

Actually, I'm still not quite in the clear when it comes to SA Casino Chips.

Apparently and as most of us know already, there are 2 separate editions, two different sets; Original Set - First Edition - and Anniversary Set, which is considered to be Second Edition.

 - Now, I'm really not sure whether there are any real differences when it comes to craftsmanship of the chips between the two sets, but the only way to tell them apart is to know whether you bought them bundled with the White Deck of Cards - released only during 2004/2005, or whether you bought one during the Anniversary re-release when they were being sold and bundled with the Black Set of Cards - which by the way, isn't convenient at all, because if there's no actual physical differences between them, then there's really no way to tell precisely which set it is, just by looking at the chips.

There are 3 more closely related items as well, which are also casino chips - Blind Dragon Chips - which come in various colors - a Promotional Black Dragon Chip - bundled with Xbox Magazine and of course the elusive Blind Red Dragon Chip - which you supposed to exchange for BMX in the same contest.

Black Promo Chip. This one is really interesting and it comes with the small cardboard envelope containing info about the BMX giveaway, along with some other stuff, but what really grind my gears here is that this chip is clearly made differently and the craftsmanship differs from chips that came in the sets, the ones bundled with either black or white cards. It has somewhat softer edges and what sets it apart the most is that it has " metal feel " to it, unlike " plasticky " feel of those two. I always thought the Original Chips were all made that way, now I think only these are like that.

Blind Dragon Chips. I think I only haven't seen the Orange Blind Dragon Chip. I have the black variant myself and of course the ones I've seen circulating the most are Blue and Purple, saw the Green Blind Dragon once on auction on Ebay. As far as I know, the Black Blind Dragon Chip was part of the Anniversary set - 10 Chips in total, 5 different colors, just like the Original Set - and one of those black chips was actually a Blind one. Don't quote me on this one, but many of the Blue and Purple Blind Dragon Chips where actually given away to store managers, promoters and other V.I.P's as a gift from Rockstar Games. All of them share the same craftsmanship as the Anniversary and Original sets - assuming there's no real difference between 1st and 2nd Edition.

Red Blind Dragon Chip. Of course, veil of mystery around this one. Probably no one has ever seen it, except the BMX contest winners, who then gave it away in exchange for their BMX, most likely.

It was received with the same cardboard envelope like the Black Dragon chip, except it was blind dragon, it was red and that's how you would know you won the bike. Oh, and supposedly there's only 5 of them - number of contest winners. Some actually doubt it was red, could be black as well, but that's exactly what the info on the cardboard says: Red Chip and Dragon with cane and sunglasses.

As a bonus there is of course SA Casino Briefcase that contains Black, Blue, Green and Red Casino Chips bundled with around 50 chips per set along with both Deck of Cards and 4 Red Dices.

@johndoe365

Here's my pack of chips, sadly I bought it like that - without any cards, but I do believe this one contained Black Deck of Cards, so 2nd Edition - Anniversary. I think that because of the sticker, they are clearly different - yours and mine - and I'm almost 100 % positive this sticker like mine was used with Anniversary, despite saying " Original " ofc, it's just the way they are called " Original Playing Cards/Poker Chips " no matter the edition.

sf9rUtU.jpg

Anyway, can you tell any difference between those 1st and 2nd edition chips you've got there? Anything that sets them apart?

Hello, the problem is that i do believe both of these are first edition, i tried to tell them apart but it was very hard to differentiate between them, I am fairly certain that my unsealed pack is first edition atleast, because they came with the white deck of cards in the plastic cover. I tried to find a sealed anniversary pack online and i stumbled across this pic online,

Grand-Theft-Auto-San-Andreas-Original-Po

As you can see the packaging/arrangement of the chips are different than my sealed pack, (these ones have the purple ones last whereas mine have the blue ones last, green ones second and so on), i still am not sure if this indicates whether these are first or second edition though will have to inspect further will let you know. I also have the Xbox package, but it is sealed so i will probably never know if it has the red chip inside hehe.

By the way here is the green blind dragon chip if you wanna see it:

@johndoe365

I'm fairly certain that if the chips came with the white deck of cards then we are talking about the first edition chips, the original ones - that's as far as I know and according to opinion of numerous other people. What I'm beginning to think is that there's literally no difference between the two sets of chips, that they are the same and the only one that differs is the promotional black chip - when it comes to craftsmanship I mean.

If your unsealed chips seem to be made out of metal or some kind of ceramics - or something that definitely doesn't look and feel as soft or as lightweight as plastic - and are somewhat heavier, have more softer and rounder edges, then they are definitely different from the Anniversary ones. Othewise, we can assume there are no differences between the Original and Anniversary chips.

Note: Ofc, all this is assumed only if you personally bought that pack and know for sure that it's the 1st edition, otherwise someone could have easily put 2nd edition chips into the 1st edition package.

Heh, I think that's the exact package I bought, lol, small world. Anyways, I think that the chips arrangement doesn't matter, meaning, they didn't arrange the 1st edition differently than the 2nd, I think that's random, but as long as every two chips are of the same colour, from top to bottom.

Here's a pic of Anniversary package, sealed - been on Ebay for some time, not sure if it's still there btw:

TpXFjm4.jpg

You can see the arrangement totally differs from everything else and I know for sure this is complete Anniversary pack, notice the sticker, it's the same as mine as well.

Ofc, don't open that cardboard envelope, I think there's literally no chance it contains the red one inside, coz according to my limited knowledge all the winners had sent their red chips, except one, but even that pack has been opened later on. So, better to have black one sealed, than to hope for red and then have black one opened, lol.

Nice man, it's a beauty, that green chip I mean, did you perhaps won the ebay auction last August?

Edit:

Just for the sake of comparison, here's the Black Blind Dragon Chip i own - which is of the same craftsmanship as the 2nd Edition Chips and was most likely the very part of Anniversary package - and on the other side we have the Black Promotional Chip taken out of the cardboard envelope. Try to see the differences, it's hard to tell judging by the image itself, but there are some visual differencea as well; for instance, I think these white fields are of the slightly different shape and I'm not sure can this be seen as well, but ink itself seems to be of a higher quality.

q7Culzy.jpg

Note: just a small correction: during the 2004/2005, both of the card decks were up for sale - black and white - while with the anniversary edition white deck was excluded.

Everything else above still stands.
