As far as I know Russia is kinda iffy on copyright and piracy and western corporations don't really have a say in what happens there.

Just ordered a copy of Shawn Fonteno's new book 'Game Changer' for the collection, should be an interesting read. Supposedly it's a memoir style book documenting his life from the streets to the recording booth. Has anyone here copped it? I know lots of people will probably say it's just a cash-grab book, but I have a lot of love for Solo and I enjoy his attitude and posts on IG, dude has a lot of OG street wisdom. It'll be cool to read his story and I'll be glad to support him.

Nice to see some fresh faces on here. Been a lurker for a long time before I finally signed up for an account. Haven't much of a presence on here as I did on other sites as I'm now just realizing I never started a collection thread, uploaded any haul pics or reuploaded all the pics that became lost on those defunct pic sharing sites. Spent a good chunk scrolling through 2 years of posts to see what I missed out. 

 

I collect games as a whole but started my Rockstar journey in 2004.

 

Here's my first pic to commemorate my upgrade from lurker status

Bully cricket bat from the 5 prize packs offered in the sweepstakes. The other bits and bobs have been stored away.

I've only sold 1 thing in my entire collection and only because it was a double which wasn't even gaming related. 

 

Something to help me get over the hump. 

 

I've got the other GTA IV cover console as well.

Nice to know. Just created a Instagram account. Are there special groups I can look for, or just search GTA/Rockstar or something? Always interested looking to rate items. Will post pictures of my collection (mostly GTA) also.

This November, Goldin Auctions will be auctioning off my Grand Theft Auto III wooden Louisville Slugger baseball bat. In addition to being an extremely hard to find bat for collectors, my GTA III bat has an additional element that makes it unique: Sam Houser and Leslie Benzies autographed it.

 

The bat was a prize in a contest held somewhere between the release of GTA III and State of Emergency, but I can’t recall more specifically than that. It either took place on IGN or I learned of it there and involved a short writing contest regarding a “WOW” moment we experienced in GTA III’s open world gameplay. 
 

I will say that I am parting with this bat in order to offset medical expenses, but I will leave it at that. Also I will share this link to a short video I made rolling the bat to show its features.

Hey all,

 

I've just (this last minute) acquired this grail off Facebook marketplace.

Here is an album of the seller's photos.

I'm currently driving home with it right now, and can take more detailed pictures when I am home.

 

The seller was a mother of a long-moved out son who'd left the bike there and had quite clearly ridden it.

The handlebars have been replaced as well as the rear brake (but in brand new condition).

There is also a supplied brand new front brake that has not been installed. 

 

I know these don't come around often and am unaware of previous sold prices, let alone interest in one with aftermarket parts.

Im also unsure of any replicas that have been produced, so there's also that - however, the circumstances surrounding the purchase lead me to believe its the real deal.

 

If anyone could help me verify the authenticity I would be glad to provide as many photos / information as possible.

I would be also be looking to sell it considering how my investigation goes, and of course with the help of the community

Wow, I bet you got an amazing deal on it considering how much these usually go for. As you said it has been obviously ridden and I didn't notice any other parts changed that you mentioned. The stickers seem to line up pretty well to the pictures you can find online. I'd say it is probably real, but I'm not really an expert on this exact one, I have never seen one in person.

i suspect that it’s resealed though.. no vent holes and the front seal looks like it was air gunned

the seal does look old though

Just bought the VC license plate. Very happy with it, because there is not so many opportunities to purchase one.

Can’t wait to actually receive it. 
 

But what is the story behind this license plate? I can’t see a Rockstar logo on it. And it seems to have a website based on Italy?

It was produce by Cidiverte a Italian distributor by Take-Two and given to licensed store in Italy as a Pre-order bonus.

It's common to find in Italy but it's extremely Rare to find for the rest of the world.
