I have created two mods. First makes homies follow CJ into interiors. Here's the SB code:

Other mod makes Varrios los Aztecas and Triads be friendly. You can recruit them after certain missions. VLA are able to recruit after you complete "Los Desperados" and Triads are able to recruit after first mission for Woozie. I made "second recruit system". I don't know how to make it able to recruit certain pedtypes, so it just cycles through 30000 ID's, checks if actor does exist and if player is aiming at them. Everything's checked in a moment, that's why there's no 0001: wait 0 ms in :GangFriends_recruit. These friendly gangs will also attack cops if player has wanted level. Also, they will attack you if they say something and you press Y. And at last - if you save game with this mod and then delete that mod, you won't be able to recruit them and use other features, but they still won't attack you. Here's the code:

You may have to modify this code to work if you put it into main.scm. But I used CLEO. If you use it too, just write {$CLEO} at the beginning of each file.

Maybe answer is too much "hard-coded" into my words biggrin.gif If you install this to main.scm, then find group of "create_thread" in main.scm and add "create_thread @HomiesInside_start" and "create_thread @GangFriends". Then put the code above mission 0. If you want to use CLEO, then put these mods into separate files with {$CLEO} at the beginning.

If you put this to main.scm, then you have. If you use CLEO3, then you can load your old savegame.

ey, your mod when the gang members go inside places with you works good, but for some reason i cant add aztecas to my gang! i select them & they shoot & fight me... how can i make THAT mod work?? cry.gif

Walk near them, they'll say something to you, press Y, then he will follow (and kill smile.gif) you. If you want to do what's against the story, use recruit anyone cheat smile.gif

To install this without CLEO, you have to put this code into main.scm. Put the code above first mission, then find first create_thread line and write create_thread @HomiesInside_start or create_thread @GangFriends somewhere around there. But you will have to start new game.

Like rafinha said, it would be so nice if someone could upload a main.scm original, just added

the homies following cj, one other version with the aztecas thing only and a third one with both added. That would be realy cool.

Oh, I found a bug in CLEO... I recruit one Aztecas but I release him, and I recruit another member but my game crashed. I tryed this for many times, but the same result.Can someone fix the bug please?

Sorry to bump an old thread but

 

I installed this mod by editing the main.scm while on v2. It worked fine but now during Los Sepulcros when I recruit the two Groves, Sweet gets out of the car and walks away. If I recruit the two before he closes the door I can get in the otherwise locked car, but when I get too far away from him he dies.

 

I downgraded to v1 while this mod was installed...
