In any case, I eagerly await the E3 coverage, and some in-game screenshots. Hopefully by then my fears will be Silently Assassinated. Or, heaven forfend, we see Agent 47 with a scar and stubble taking cover behind a waist-high wall, with jam on his screen, blind-firing with his Silverballer whilst calling in a Predator Drone. Oh god.

I'm terribly sorry for the following abomination I concocted:

To me Typhus' post seemed filled with sarcasm.

Nope. I hate clones. Especially when they try to pass off a f*cking albino clone as 47's great nemesis. No one here can honestly believe that was a good anatagonist for Blood Money. It was tacky, unbelievable and rather sullied what should have been an amazing level. An assassination in the White House. And we've got to kill an albino. An albino clone.

Awful.

I hated how you HAD to have a shoot out with Parchzzi in Hitman BM. The fact he is albino isn't really a problem, its just that it would have better if we silently assassinated Tom Stewart or Frank Morgan or one of the election campaigners in a silent way, like Daniel Morris.

anyway, more realism please. I know 47 is a clone but lets calm down an reduce all this sci-fi nonsence

Typhus: I agree with most of your points.

Bridgy: that is one funny pic XD XD XD lets hope it doesn't come to taht.

I like the clone backstory, I feel it makes 47 more than a man. He is perfection, in an almost supernatural way. I guess I can see how it would annoy people.

I'm looking forward to this, Hitman is one of my all time favorite series.

You do not need to have a shootout with Parchezzi in "Amendment XXV". Go to the window of the Oval Office and plant an RU-AP Mine by the window.

VP Morris will eventually come up to the window when he takes the dog for a walk and Parchezzi will come up to the window to greet him. Then blow up the bomb and kill them both at the same time. Easy.

"One day I will think of this as just another job. After all, this is what I do."

Absolution is the subtitle of the game. They probably didn't know what the subtitle of the game will be when they made these covers.

Anyway I like this one. It's simple but it says a lot.

Except for the part where they're very likely not, since the third one is the leaked image from a few days ago.

if IO wants to f*ck up this game like they did with H:BM by making it alot more boring, easy, and failing to do better graphics, they can go kiss their asses. If they have such a problem that Hitman series 'isn't available to wider audience' it's their f*cking problem - they could always do the same 1000x times repeated sport game that everyone would play, or a COD clone. When they made H2 they didn't expect EVERY casual player to play it, did they?

Also yeah, you suck as a Hitman fan if you can't accept the cloning story. It was how 47 begun to exist, it's why I loved Codename 47 so much.

The only thing I don't like about cloning is how they f*cked it up in H:BM by for example the fact half of ppl know about cloning. (even newspapers mention it) basicly, it should be more a conspirancy-thingy.

The anger in this post is both unjustified and unfair.

IO did a great job with BM, the game looked great (on the PC atleast) and still looks quite good even today, i would easily recomend BM to anyone that never played Hitman before and would like to see what its is all about, its not my favorite one (that would be H2) but its undoubtfully the best one.

The earlier ones had many bugs and flaws with the missions and a.i. plus the gameplay was very restrictive.

Of course Hitman 2 was the best one. It had a sniper crossbow. It doesn't get much better than that.

I hope that weapon customization from Blood Money makes a return and I hope it'll be a lot better. I want to customize more than just a few guns.

The bad thing about graphics is that everything looks so fake. The chicks from levels just looked like made out of plasticine.

I still have enjoyed H:BM, but it was frustrating that it took more time than other Hitman games to make yet it had less missions and weapons, and whereas the AI was plain restrictive and hardcore (and cheaty!) in SA for example, it was dumbed down in H:BM. I still remember in the 'crows' mission (I forgot the full name - the one where you have to protect the politican and kill the hitmen group) I, for fun, just punched one guy. Then it just showed how limited the AI is - the guy ran to a guard, and suddenly, EVERY ARMED PERSON ON THE LEVEL started attacking me. But the funniest thing is, after running into the crowd, the cops just killed about 100 civilians before I got capped. Funny.

Also in the You Better Watch Out mission, I was running away from the assasin chick, just to see how AI will react to her shooting.. she was not associated with this level, I'm pretty sure she was just an agent sent to take out 47. And guess what? After she killed few minors and guards, guess who the guards attacked? They attacked me, not her. Even if I was unarmed.

Next version needs some serious improvments in AI if you ask me - more possibilities of behaviour.

I still enjoyed BM, but Hitman: SA re-do'ed on BM engine would be already more fun than BM itself.

you have apoint with the crows mission I'll give you that. Police killed 100s of civilians because I didn't enter a club with my cowboy hat on lol.gif

Hitman Blood Money was a great game. I liked it. I still play it a lot. I like how you can get past guards with trickery and deception rather than stealth and violence. nice change.

Call me kooky, but I actually liked the stupid AI in Blood Money.

Another fun thing to do in the Murder Of Crows level is to keep flipping the light on and off in the hotel lobby you start in. Plasticine Woman #1 runs off to a policeman. This policeman comes in, stares at you for a brief moment, then decides that the best course of action to deal with a man fiddling with a light-switch is to blow his head off.

You have to consider that most of BM takes place in the US..

..

where someone flipping a switch can easily be mistaken for a terrorist detonating a bomb. Also, i hate people who flip the light switch on and off for no reason other than being annoying mad.gif .

I thought H2 had the best weapon selection + the tool shack owned, the weapons in Contracts just felt fake in comparison (minigun puwahh!)

But im not a real fan of the customisation system, i think a firearm looks better without a bunch of crap on it.

I didn't like putting scopes on silverballers and bizarre stuff like that. But new slides that you can't use with silencers, new silencers, bigger magazines, better trigger and stuff like that was really nice.

I loved collecting guns in SA. And then using them all in the epic final mission.

The crossbow would have been far more usefull if you could shoot poisoned darts, theres an idea for the next one...

Haha, switching on/off the lights was f*cking ridiculous!

I remember in the Missisipi mission, I just dropped my guns to floor at the toilet cause guards were about to frisk me near other doors. I then started to switching light on/off to check how it works (as I never bothered before). After that, the waitress got scared, but instead of calling the guards - she picked up my MP5 custom and blowed a clip right into my face.

I just prefer to go dual AMT Hardballers with long slides, low velocity ammo and aim dots. It's fun to empty a clip into FBI agent and see him swarm and yell in blood instead of going into retarded ragdoll state...

It's all about the Auto-Fire, Dual Wielded, Fully-Silenced Silverballers, sending Ragdolls cartwheeling across the map. A silent, acrobatic wave of death!

Using the detonator bug on 2 handed weapon is fun, IO was just a joke by not making weapon cases for most of 2 handed weapons. If you get a 2 handed weapon and detonator in your other hand, AI won't shoot you for holding a gun.

This is pretty awesome if you want to do missions in No Country For Old Men style...supressed Spas-12, anyone?

Thats good a.i. in my book.

I havent played BM in years but i remember that the guards/cops followed blood trails, also bagged and colected bodies or anything else they would find. Now that you've brought it up and compared to where we are today, BM actually had very decent a.i.

I bet you also like to flip the lightswitch on and off sneaky2.gif .

Done it. I went with the mission where you're killing an informant somewhere in Florida. Walked through the gates of the civil community and proceeded to trail dead bodies on my way to him.
