SIP YEK NOD
the battle against robert is a frustratingly cheap pile of f*cking sh*t. god damn, that pissed me off, 90% of your counters are non-lethal blows, you can't attack the main dude while he is getting back up after doing yet another non-lethal blow. the templars strikes to double damage. its just poor game design
Mand'alor
This game, in my opinion, is a classic example of Style over Substance.

Run and using throwing knives, or counter with blade because it's always lethal, it didn't seem that hard to me. Nothing "game design" about it. I actually did neither of those things, I long-sworded it. I guess I'm just that bad-ass.
SIP YEK NOD
IF THE COMBAT IS THE WEAKEST PART OF YOUR GAME, WHY THE f*ck DO YOU FORCE IT SO HEAVILY ON THE PLAYER AT THE END OF THE f*ckING GAME?
ChaosAlert
Finished this at last (though it only took a few days at most). Now, I was never thrown off picking this up despite all the negative criticism, though to be fair, pickpocketing and collecting flags all within a time limit can get bland after the first few. I did enjoy, however, the landscapes, the chance to climb up towards some of the greatest viewing areas there are, and some of the atmosphere within the cities, walking past market stalls where they shout for your attention to buy moderately made stuff. Even the beggers, who were quite funny... to push over. The fighting sequences did end up getting repetitive, but when you have a crowd of them surrounding you, and you take them all out, it kind of makes the victory a bit more enjoyable, as they all fell to your blade. The final sequences of fights were probably the most fun imo. I don't think I'll have any desire to go back to it though, although will probably just collect the flags (oh jeez it's Crackdown all over again) and killing the Templars later on. [GTA Man]cycon77foamy[GTA Man]
Can any of you spare a few coins? You don't understand, I'm hungry and I'm sick - just a few coins! Awesome's Creed Really funny Assassins Creed parody. Im thinking of getting this game. But im not to sure. I have three games i don't want anymore (Tony Hawks Project 8, Far Cry Instincts Predator and King Kong) I have three choices i can do: Trade them in to JB and get either Assassins Creed or COD 4 for free or Goto EB and trade them in and get Mass Effect for $10. I'm leaning towards Assassins Creed. What do people think?
Voodoo
AC is worth playing, but you'll get allot more value out of ME or COD4. You should get both, but if you can only get one go for the genre you like best. I've never seen a better real combat FPS than COD4. It's a bit short storywise, but everything else makes up for it. If you're into RPGs at all, ME will astound you. It'll keep you entertained for a really long time. It's hard to choose between those two because they are both so good, but AC is rental material in my opinion.

[GTA Man]cycon77foamy[GTA Man]
I got AC today and its f*cking awesome! My only gripes so far is: -AI dialog is VERY repetitive. -When the indicator goes yellow, the only way to get it to go back to white is to hide in hay etc. Why cant it go back to normal if you just out of site for a small amount of time( I mean like staying in a little room or shadowed alley or etc. Like Evasion mode in MGS. But other then that i'm loving it

tuff_luv_capo
Not being able to skip cutscenes when viewing for the second time whether it's because you've failed or you're just retrying the level, THAT is a flaw. Yes, I agree everyone should follow the story the first time through, but after that... it should definitely be choice.
Vanillainy
Not being able to skip cutscenes when viewing for the second time whether it's because you've failed or you're just retrying the level, THAT is a flaw. Yes, I agree everyone should follow the story the first time through, but after that... it should definitely be choice. I got bored of the cut scenes, alot. I didn't even listen to them, I just sat there staring at the wall for a while. Especially after you assasinated them and then go on to tell you how good they were while tapping the triggers incase of a glitch. Also completed it. What the f*ck, aside from the most obvious ending ever and that stupid glowing ball it was alright, nothing special. Could of been done so much better but since its a Trilogy, then woo. But what was the point in the whole Future/Past thing? It would of been alot better if they just left the future out of it, imo anyway. Just made things more confusing. Also what can I do as Desmond and the weird symbols? I can get on Lucy's computer and read her emails. (OH YEAH, FUN!) and go back into the Animus, buts thats it. Nothing I can do? papanesta
I actually really enjoyed the future part, could have done with a lot more to interact with, though. And you should have been able to at least jog. @Funky, so you didn't steal the keycard to get in the other room? And, read the website that was linked to a few pages ago. Very interesting. papanesta
Yeah, you missed something. At one point, the old angry guy stands with his back to you looking out the window. His keycard is sticking out his pocket, and if you walk up behind him, it gives you the option to take it.

geomy
Finally got around to finishing this. Since I played it so infrequently, I never really got the repetitive itch, but I understand where the criticisms come from. The ending was obvious and a little abrupt, and those credits never seemed to end. I did like the clues for the next installment though. All in all, a good game. Possibly a great game if you're not in a hurry. Bring on AC2
G MONEY $$$
I've had the game lying around for weeks but since I only finished with final exams on Monday I just started playing. The game rocks. It's pure awesomeness. I don't really mind the repetitive dialogue, doesn't bother me because the gameplay is sweeeeet.
Deuce Deuce
I've not completed it, but seems the ending wasn't that good anyway. But I traded it in for a couple other games.
