I feel that the latest turn in the SA Chain Game Round 147 should be invalidated because it violated the rule stated in the opening posts about waiting at least two turns or 4 hours before taking another.

Nice job to all involved in managing the valid turns. In particular, keeping most of the discussion in the lounge, and reposting the last good turn. These protocols greatly improve the flow of the Chain Game when minor issues are encountered.

Anyone can call a turn. "Step up your game" means he needs to do better than that.

He edited the post by cancelling his turn and informed everyone,by that time 2 turns were done

I am calm, it just bothers me that two turns were invalidated because of that. And it seems to me he edited the turn moments before you called yours.

I'm not sure I would have caught an edited post even if the edit was made before I called a turn. The page I'd be looking at would make things look normal, and I'd have to scroll up to see any changes after I'd posted. I've never been comfortable with players editing the post after the turn is completed anyway. If there's a mistake I'd like to see it, and it screws with the completion time anyway.

 

Perhaps we should expect players that need to forfeit a turn after it's complete to make a new post. This should generate an alert to anyone viewing an old page or in the middle of calling a turn.

All CG-SA rounds begin with a starter save. Can you explain your question more clearly?

 

If you are talking about a "vanilla" starter save: The major barrier is that JAJ doesn't have opening posts that are appropriate for a vanilla starter save.

I believe he's talking about a Master Save? The kind of save where one does everything available in the game before the first mission. Some people also call it Starter Save:

I'm not sure how that kind of format would work for the CG though, since in SA you can complete only a small amount of the game (less than 20%) before Big Smoke, and people like to set arbitrary goals such as maximizing all stats etc.

We only have opening posts that are appropriate for the CG117 modified 0% starter save.

I could write a very long list of links to guides and videos that describe how to complete tasks that were once deemed impossible, but...

 

Nope! I won't take the bait. I like a good challenge but I'm having too much fun with RDR2 Online (Xbox, in case anyone wants to posse up).

Like in GTA3 and VC,they complete everything possible before the 1st mission (or 2nd)

i want the same with GTASA completng these:

 

  • 13.37% (normal) plus
  • Races
  • Gyms
  • Exports
  • Trucking
  • Freight
  • Ammunation
  • Bike and Boat School 
  • Valet (probably)

All these will fetch some 17.12% more

Making the 13.37 to about 31%

 

I hope this clears the communication failure

Closer. I'm not at all familiar with how the III and VC game are played. Is the goal of the round to complete these objectives? Or is the goal to complete 100% starting with all that stuff done? If the later, it would be pretty easy to make a cleo script that simply marked all this stuff as done on a fresh save, or even the current starter save. If the former:

 

If an Ammu-Nation was unlocked early then only the first level could be completed, probably.

Trucking would be restricted, maybe to only the first few levels, maybe none at all. I'm a bit curious actually.

The freight mission is already active (R3) but won't trigger until after YKBB. 

Valet is very sensitive to the wanted level. I would expect trouble under 4-star conditions.

 

For missions that need a script to be launched early to operate, it might be difficult to prevent the script from bring launched again later in the game.

He already lost 2 (AP PCJ600,AP sanchez) and now another AP Sanchez from Dillimore
