I have a question

 

I have a steam version of the game as well. Can any barrier missions be done with this in the chain game?

The steam version is the same as V2 save games. You could go back to one of the Finished Games and do an opening bridge mission and then have people with V1 & V2 check the completed mission to see if it is clear.

Is it problem that I made unneccessary mission attempt( I accidentally entered mission marker)? I have done LV courier and one mission already so I didn't want to lose my progress...but if it's problem then I can delete my turn.

IMHO, mission attempts is not worth worrying about until you've restarted that same 4-star race maybe a dozen times without making any progress. Then perhaps it's time to considering reloading and making another trip to the races with a fresh set of attempts.

That's strange. It seems like lil weasel and DREVIL did the same thing in their turns- firefighting and Burning Desire. Even percentage is same. Am I missing something or it's right?

I believe that was after coming back to Los Santos . So now are 4-star gangwars available, I think.. Besides that guys I took over whole SF I wouldn't like to lose that .

EDIT: @shoumic 4-star gangwars (from mission Doberman to The Green Sabre) can be done without 3-mission rule, probably because that's the only time when we have opportunity to do gangwars under constant 4-star level, we can't do that later in the game after mission Home Coming when gang territories will be unlocked again.

Note that the first round of Gang Wars comes with an exception to the '3 mission rule' if we're playing a save that features 4star Gang Wars. If all you do is 4star Gang Wars, then the '3 mission rule' does not apply. In that case, wait for one other turn to be completed before calling your next turn. This will be for only doing 4star Gang Wars, please don't do any missions too unless you wait the regular 3 turns.

@lil weasel. Have you considered doing SF and LV turf instead of LS turfs during next rounds? It would be better, since these turfs won't get lost and they will reappear after Home coming. Just a suggestion, you don't have to, if you don't want of course.

FYI, the UFO Curse is a bit more interesting when LV is unlocked because the Mafia will send Goons after CJ. CJ can be fattened a little using Food Dates, or tons of snacks and Sprunk. Avoid the Wheel O' Fortune game as long as CJ's dept is more than he can borrow or the money glitched will likely continue to scroll up for a turn or three or four. If the debt ends up causing too much trouble there is a curse reverse hidden in the save.

That call which you mentioned can be triggered even if LV is locked? There is a small unrestricted area near LV where Jetmax or some other boat spawns(I don't remember exactly).

Yes. A small area near the Jetmax dock with the armor at the south end of LV is the only area I have found where CJ can be in LV but still in unrestricted territory. IIRC, the goons have a hard time navigating from the street to the dock, but yes. It doesn't work.

Who did that to money? Why it is -$4526456 and displayed in red?

That's what happens when you mess around with the UFO (see above). Negative money is always displayed in red, that's built in, but I don't think you can get a debt in a normal game besides borrowing from the casinos.

 

 

Avoid known glitch situations

In case someone thought they'd be clever with the Fortune Glitch, I would recommend that the glitch save be rejected.

 

A reminder for anyone experimenting with an early Hydra collection on a chain game save: the SF impound lot has been tweaked a bit. The dimensions were changed to prevent bikes from spawning in the ceiling, to reduce the change of the random carsin the lot from getting impounded, and to make it possible to enter the lot without opening the invisible door. rubregg spent quite a bit of time fine tuning that garage for maximum benefit. Hopefully that included the Hydra.

LV is locked, so it means I get 4 stars when I go to LV

There is a small unrestricted area in LV(look few posts above) you can try your luck there. But remember you need to receive 3 or 2 phone calls from casino owner, only after that he will send Mafia hitmen.

IIRC They will appear with or without a wanted rating. You will get a phone call about owing money. Then you'll get one about some friends of the caller coming around to see you... that's when the mafia hit men come after you. Kill a lot cause they have wads of money. As to the ufo curse revoke, it is hidden very very well somewhere in the save.

@OrionSR Why didn't jaj's brother's turn of having two dates disable the jealous girlfriends? I thought that a successful date would disable them. Was it because of the debt? Or did we just get lucky, I think not. Or is there no explanation to it?

Perhaps he used same techinque as with getting proofed girlfriends vehicles, but he didn't store them.-Normal date and on the way to home he got jealous girlfriend and he lured her near girlfriends(which he dated during this time) house, and got that combinated cutscene and after that he leaved jealous girlfriend there. That's all I can think of.

Well I dont know, but we could go on another date to see if it gets disabled in the next turn.

The UFO curse makes the game more fun, as you will have to find alternate ways to eat, lose wanted levels, etc.

 

The UFO Reverse thing had to be moved in an earlier round, as I found it by accident-lol

 

I also discovered the Wheel Of Fortune glitch as well during a Chain Game save(on one of my turns)-lol Which even I do not advise using that in the normal game(when i'm playing the Chain Game saves on my own), yet alone in the Chain Game during a turn...Which is why I made a note of it in the notes section during my turn...

 

The ONLY problem with it, is to NOT pick it up until after the Verdant Meadows mission, as the game requires you have at least $80,000 to buy Verdant Meadows airstrip and you must have it to continue the game...I think there is another mission where money is required, but can't seem to think of it at the moment? So, if it is picked up before buying Verdant Meadows, it will need to get money back in the positive to buy and continue on with the save. Just a heads up.

 

That's a great feature added to the game..
