I've said it before, and I'm repeating now.

A Player who calls a turn in the Chain Game shouldn't be off Doing a 'Mission Help' at the same time. Or vice-versa.

Sorry Weasel I didnt know, it wont happen again. I didnt know you were online and wanted to take a turn, I think you were in stealth mode.

I was looking at the round 85 topic - lol, nobody can make up their minds on which gym moves to have. The last one learned SF moves. IMO the LV ones are the best.

I was taking my turn in the CHAIN GAME then I was busted by the cops but as per game I should have respawned in front of LSPD HQ but strangely I was spawned at the top of ATTRIUM & I was not able to move from there so I had to restart the game ...

It happened to me twice..Did it happened with anyone else ??

I don't have any mods/cheats in my game

So is it normal or is it really strange ??

It's a Restart Trap, that forbids the players to be able to save while Wasted or Busted.

Yes it is a restart trap, you can not do anything once in one. But, be careful. If, as we already do, have Katie or Barbara as girlfriends you will spawn outside their locations in certain instances. You can continue to move and play. You will get a busted or wasted stat which the restart traps prevent. If you are in the girls area and get busted or wasted you will spawn outside Katie's house or outside the El Quebrados police station, depending on girlfriends you are dating and where you get busted or wasted. You get to keep all your weapons and don't pay for a hospital visit. Hope this helps....

Speaking of restart traps, have you considered allowing to get yourself killed/busted in order to get unique vehicle? I mean, it's not really necessary to collect them, but some of them which require death would be nice addition to collection (Tenpenny's firetruck, CP Mothership etc.). If wasted stat is too much of problem, then it's ok. smile.gif

The game is supposed to have NO wasted/busted stats.

The Trap is to keep Players from saving with a wasted/busted situation.

Reuniting the Family is the next Mission & this does not have to be done by a V2 player. Green Saber still does have to be done by a V2 player.

Check the bottom of the SnP "Click here to to display the mission & property checklist."

Weird thing happened during my turn. I was doing hippy shopper mission and I noticed that I can't shot from SMG as seen here: user posted image I had to select manually SMG, and even after that it didn't work. After mission completion, I can shoot again, though SMG texture is missing user posted image , later I crashed with my bike, I entered it again and everything was as it should be. This only happens with chain game saves and so far only with hippy courier. Anyone is willing to test it, if it's working for him?

Well...first things first. Was the SMG disabled only during the courier mission when CJ is suppose to shoot packages instead of weapons?

 

I can't see how any changes to the CG saves could have an effect on the Hippy Shopper mission, but I'm certainly anxious to track down any glitches that we may have introduced. Let me know if you can isolate the problem.

Sorry forgot to tell that it happened only during hippy shopper. I'm not saying it's chain game's fault, just that it didn't happen in my normal saves. I'm gonna test other courier missions now, I'll post results later. EDIT: I tested save from my turn, and it happened again(SMG texture was normal though, but I couldnt shot), same happened in LV Burgershot too. EDIT2: LS courier too. Now I'm gonna test normal game.

Doesn't work in my game either. confused.gif Sorry, I thought it's chain game save mistake, but apperantly something isn't right in my game, I apologize.

I think your game is fine. I took a look at the scripts and it looks like Driveby Mode is disabled for the duration of the courier missions. All three courier missions appear to use the same script. Driveby Mode is disabled right at the start and doesn't appear to get disabled until the mission is failed or completed. I'll bet you can't do a drive-by using a car during the short time you have to get back on the bike. It looks like Boat School also disables driveby mode for a while, but otherwise I can't find any other uses of the driveby mode code (0501:).

Oh thanks for explanation Orion. Sorry for filling chain game topic with these stuff, I could have sworn that I did drive-by's during courier mission in my game, but I was wrong. And you are right, I can't do drive-by's in car either.

Does anyone know why the ambulances at the hospital are pink?, Im sure they have been modded in one way, do they have any special abilities?

Sort of, but there's a little more to it. During one of the rounds when pdescobar and I were working on the custom chain game saves rubregg had a stint in the hospital. So for that round we moved all the cars with custom plates to the parking lots of the SF hospital and changed the color of the ambulances in the save to various combinations with the pink that rubregg selected for his Rockshore Cheetah. After that round we put the named cars back to their usual spot but left in the pink ambulances because we liked them.

 

I think we may have had a Get-Well-Soon easter egg in the video game high scores. I'm not sure if that ever got changed or not.

Technically, you are supposed to wait one turn after calling a forfeit. But nobody else called a turn so I guess its ok.

 

The caller may call a forfeit. The forfeiter should wait at least one turn before calling another mission/turn. The forfeited turn will not count towards the '3 mission rule' and will not reset the 6 hour timer.

You mean 4-star racing? If so then I'll do less of it in future. About saving, yes I save a lot, but that's because when I do something which isn't easy, I don't want to re-do it after failing story mission etc. But I'll try to save only once from now wink.gif .

I made reference to this before, that race you did in your last turn (Sf to LV) is not open to all players yet.

Oh I thought you meant 4-star racing as whole. I mean air races are pretty much done and we haven't reached LV yet and I haven't been doing races as much as before, so I thought it will be ok, but I'll wait till it will be opened for everyone in the future. But others should probably wait with air races till LV will be opened too, at least once in a while, so everyone will get chance to do them.

DREVIL, could you tell me how you got that engineless Ngr 500? I have been searching for a method how to get it for a while now, but no luck. I assume that making "engineless Ngr" is similiar to lightless taxi's present in GTA III, Vice city, LCS, VCS if you know what I'm talking about...but I have no luck with this method confused.gif
