Hi Everybody

 

As most of you know I’ve been a long time Chain Game player. I started playing in the 10th and here it is the 26th round and I’m still playing. Wow. I never would have thought. Unfortunately my days of being an avid Chain Game player have come to an end.

 

Lately I’ve just lost interest in playing San Andreas. I’ve gone from SA is really fun, to SA is ok, to the point I’m at now, which is SA is boring. Essentially I’ve just gotten sick of playing San Andreas. That’s half of it and the other half is the fact that I’m starting to become more active on the forums hence less time for The Chain Game.

 

I still plan playing on and off. My goal is at least 2 turns per round so you haven’t completely lost me. Although eventually I will probably stop playing.

 

I’d like to say thanks to everybody who has helped me along the way in my year and a half of playing The Chain Game. I’ve met lot of people through playing The Chain Game. Probably the best thing to come out of it all would be mine and John’s friendship. He’s a good guy. Definitely the coolest 59 year old I know

 

As for my rank/status as Chain Game Officer, if JAJ doesn’t have any problems with it I’d like to keep that. I’ll still help out where ever and when ever possible with the officer duties because I like to do that stuff, and I do enjoy the helping out around The Chain Game.

 

I’m sorry guys. I’ll still be here just not as much.

I'm disappointed to hear that Ryan; but I guess you have taken a firm decision and I respect that.

Even I thought I would lose interest in SA someday, but I keep on proving myself wrong. It was the Chain Game that kept me alive here, so probably, it's gonna be a lot more difficult for me to let it go.

 

Don't worry too much about this though; I'll be around to help John.

 

Anyways, I would like to wish you luck for whatever else you do on the forums. Make us proud. Just don't go on flaming everyone.

I'm not leaving completey. I'm just not going to be playing much. I'll still be around to take the odd turn and help out with all the officer stuff. I'll still post around the lounge and take some turns but i aint gonna be a die hard Chain Gamer like I used to be. I'll still be around here.

I'll be playing again, as I got my new video card yesterday (Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT), And SA Works very well with it, so I'll be backup

New Officer System

 

Just so everybody knows Girsh, JAJ and I had a nice little chat last night, and we decided to have the inactive/retired CG officers group. We felt is was necessary due to the fact that at that moment half of the 6 total officers were inactive with The Chain Game.

 

For the officers who have been moved to the inactive/retired officer list, dont worry you are still a Chain Game officer. You still can do all the stuff officers allowed to do however the major difference is that now that your are retired/inactive and it isn't you duty anymore to do this stuff. If you want to you can but if you dont you can glady just walk right by it and leave it for the officers to deal with.

 

I'm still unsure about my decision as to either stay as an active officer or retire. I'll have my mind made up soon.

Guys I won't be able to play as much in the chain game, as my PC That I use to play SA, Where it works smoothly, won't start up, and I need a recovery CD, Which I will get by about Thursday next week. The PC I use at the minuite, runs SA, But some missions are impossible because of the nasty frame rate, like 5-10 fps is not playable. Even with lowered detail. Because of my crappy graphics card in my older PC (XP). Like I mean missions like FreeFall, flying through clouds, the game gets too laggy. I can do most missions however, and ones in San Fierro, Los Santos, and Desert and Badlands. But Las Ventruas is too laggy on this PC.
