Now I think the word "spaz" in America is an acceptable word to use commonly? However in the UK it is not, it is very insulting and makes the interview some what unprofessional. However with it being an American I guess the word has a completely different context. The "They are rockstars" bit seems highly irrelevant. Thinking the "gamers are not morons" leaves something to be desired. Mob Rule? Well that sound like it had a whole 5 minutes thought. EA innovation! Lame attempts at sattire and parody? Well R* actually have used some thought in the parodies, unlike certain EA games where they have constant self promotion plastering the logo over anything possible. The same games with new rosters and interfaces as the previous year are constantly churned out by EA, yet it's somewhat obvious zero thought is placed in these games. BF2142 is basically a mod for BF2. Yet people will buy these things every year? Gamers are not morons? EA rockstars? They had thier day long ago. Sure if I want a game that is bug ridden and needs 10 patches that slow it down and break something else, I'll buy an EA game. Now IV was delayed for a reason, more dev time, to put some more quality hours towards the game. As we all know 10 of the same game churned out each year needs months of dev time! It's not like EA have NEVER delayed anything I can name a recent one, Army of Two. Don't forget the expansions you can never have enough! I for one will not be buying the Simpsons game, the reviews are not impressing me. Don't get me wrong I used to think EA was great some games they made were fantasic. Theme Park, Theme Hospital, Sim City, Original Sims, BF1942, MOHAA to name a few. BF2 was good until they sh*t on it with patch after patch, expansion after expansion. You soon get sick of it. Well that's my rant over. They made it so whenever you kick someone over or destroy something you get a reward. The mission were Marge and Homer have to stop a company selling video games by ramming into the back of one of company's trucks. Either way, making fun of the Simpsons these days doesn't seem to be hard. "It's sucked since our series was still in 2D!" or something along those lines should do the trick. Because if you haven't worked it out the reason all the fuss is that EA are using GTA like assets to advertise and promote their game the trailer and Grand Theft Scratchy poster for example. You still fail to get the f*cking point. EA was using a parody to advertise the Simpsons game. Did you watch the trailer? They were spoofing GTA. The spoof didn't say Grand Theft Scrtchy it was Marge talking about banning the game. They didn't make it seem like it was pony farming or anything similar to GTA. And last time I checked when you spoof something it has to atleast look similar to what you're spoofing. do you really think EA needed to advertise the GTA spoof to sell copies? Not to mention that the trailer only appeared online and since most of you say most of the game buying population is uneducated they wouldn't have looked online on a game site so they wouldn't have seen the trailer. Point blank no other company in any buisness has ever had a problem with what a company does when they spoof something and use it as advertisement. If that was the case all the Scary Movies, Date Movies, Airplanes, Superhero Movie etc. that has spoofing of another movie in it I've never seen the company who's film being spoofed cry like little bitches and make them change the spoof. The writers made valid points and that's all that matters.Not to mention when that trailer 1st came out you guys were all on their nuts saying great trailer blah blah blah but when Rockstar crys you guys play follow the leader. They got that poster out of the game and posted it on the internet you f*cking dumb ass. It didn't appear in any stores or in any magazines advertising the game. Now if the game didn't open up with that big yellow The Simpsons Game and instead said Grand Theft Scratchy then it would be different but then again it didn't open up like that now did it? Or is that just me? Are you a retard or just ignorant. That was the title of the game before they made the name get changed. It was in game it wasn't advertisement you idiot. I was talking about the trailer you dumb ass. The basics of that if you actually played the game was Marge and Lisa stopping the game from being released. Besides the title nothing else was similar to GTA. It wasn't used for advertising at all. Thats like saying Sprunk in GTA is used for advertisement of Sprite since we all know it's a spoof of sprite but I don't hear them bitching at Rockstar saying take that out of the game and Sprunk has appeared in the trailers so is that considered advertisment as well? Look at the image again, its a photograph of a full size poster that is shown in promotions for the game.
