I was playing around in Los Santos today and I've realized something that could make the Ghettos of LS more real. I was wondering if it could be possible to code Ballas, Grove Street, etc to perform random drive by's throughout East Los Santos, Ganton etc.

 

Now what I mean by this is a code that would make a car full of gang members drive around until they find rivals. When they find the rivals they would then start shooting at the gang members.

 

Now I know sometimes when gang members are being chased by the Police they shoot at the officers. Would it be possible to take the code of gang members shooting out their cars and put it into a code that would make them peform drive by's on gang members walking around?

there This Mod Helps to open Main.scm file and see difference. i did it for once and discovered syns and changed them.(GTA Garage is currently down confused.gif )

Damn. If you pull that code off and get it to work. You the man. What If you just replaced the Cop's code with the Grove gang? Would that work?

I have been trying to get something of this sort to work. I was searching for either the coding for the drive by car during gang wars or the one that happens when you owe money in las ventures and they send a car after you.

 

And one know where to locate these or how to make this modification possible?

The Hood Life mod dont have a driveby feature

 

The opcode for driveby is

 

0713: action_sequence 8@ do_driveby_on $PLAYER_ACTOR -1  0.0  0.0  0.0  5000.0  4  1  40

 

 

first parameter (8@) is the actor which make driveby, needs to sit in a car and have a weapon

second parameter ($PLAYER_ACTOR) is the target-actor, with entry -1 it have no effect

third parameter (-1) is target-car, could also be the variable name of a car,

e.g.

 

00D9: $cjcar = actor $PLAYER_ACTOR car0713: action_sequence 8@ do_driveby_on -1 $cjcar  0.0  0.0  0.0  5000.0  4  1  40

 

4., 5., 6. param are target-coords to let the actor shoot to a specified point

e.g.

Try the script for sannybuilder:

If no mission is activ, the script search for a random car in traffic and replace it with savanna,

2 actors inthere, a driver and one in driveby action to CJ

the car chase CJ and stops near him and follows again if distance is bigger then 17.0

Damn that I'm not full american/Raised in America. But what I understand this is like adding other stuff in Main.scm.

 

You just find the other threads and add the first one by the others.

Then I search for MISSION 0 and go above that, and add the Giant text script you wrote. Sounds easy. Respond as quickly as you can, this thread seems dead to me though.

Hi, I have a question,

I make a mission for GTA SA and the goal, it's to go in the zone 51 in the car with friend.

I'm the driverseat and my friend the passenger and I have 5 stars (police).

When he is on foot, he shoots on the police but when he enter in the car, he don't shoot, he not move.

 

 

And, I have see your script:

but I don't know how I can use it in this situation because the cop are not a "reference" (they are create by game and not by me) and the "driveby_on", I don't no the reference

 

I wanted to see with the turret, but, with other actors than me, he is not in turret, maybe I have bad use this code

 

I want to know if it's possible to do that, the actor attack police on car (on foot, he can, but on car ... ?)

Didnt he say add him over email or MSN? If know one can do it 4 u then forget about, i want this code, i cant do it, i dont nag about it, neither should anyone else
