Completion: 58.29% This was the most frustrating turn of my life! I found various ways to fail the mission: 1st attempt - Flipped the car. 2nd attempt - Got hit by a Tanker and flipped again. 3rd attempt - A plane crashed into CJ as soon as the Mission Passed! scene ended. 4th attempt - And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, CJ's bike got blown up due to an exploding car behind on my return journey. 5th attempt - The penultimate attempt where I finally survived a few close calls to bring CJ back to SF safe and sound. A strange thing happened when CJ spawned at the hospital after getting wasted. Here are two screenies: Also, can anybody tell me the maximum Parking Bonus that you get during the Valet Parking mission? The max I have got so far is 13 seconds. I've always hated that mission because, like Snail Trail, there's a pointlessly long setup period. My usual failures involve destroying cesar's car although one time I wasn't paying attention and managed to run him over. As for those screenshots, congratulations: you've found a hidden feature. We like to call those "restart traps" and the point is to discourage people from saving after being busted/wasted; if you read over the save description, you'll pickup a hint or two about them. They're only active in the "online" version of the chain game though; the "independent play" versions have normal restart locations. Finally, I've never bothered trying to determine what the maximum is, but 13 seems about right as far as the best I've done. Although even an intentionally horrible parking job doesn't really matter if you don't damage the car as the timing of the mission seems very forgiving. ------------- Mission: Supply Lines Player: pdescobar Status: Complete; 58.82% Link: http://gtasnp.com/5494 Notes: Killed a crapload of civilians outside Michelle's place and police/FBI outside the Queens Hotel in an (ultimately futile) attempt to get the M4 back under 10k ammo to display the clip count. At least respect is over 50%... (Late Edit: Damn, I gave up just a little too soon. Checked the saves in GTASACC and my turn brought it from almost 25k to 10,524; of course the MP5 is still over 19k too...) Obliterated the old high score in Gogo Space Monkey and then screwed up my initials on the top 10 screen Refused to do the SF drug courier missions a couple times Saved several times because of an early crash that made me restart the turn. rubregg Posted October 30, 2007 Share Posted October 30, 2007 Very minor bug report I was just over at a friend's and tried to get him to join the chain game Along the way we played with girishb's last save file, and the Doherty Garage door wouldn't open. The game itself was a complete new install, only the 4x draw distance mod was running. Restarted the game / reloaded the save a couple of times, always the same. For some crappy reason, my SA has started lagging and Toreno's copter is too fast for my FCR-900. I think it's a Vista issue. Btw, if I change the compatibility from Win XP to Win 98, the game does not detect any savefiles. Does anybody know why this should happen?
