Stefan.
By the way, the answer to my question was Australia's Archie Thompson. Sol Campbell opened the scoring for the Gunner in the 36th minute, before Sammy Eto'o (76th) and Juliano Beletti (81st) gave Barca the win at the Stade de France. But Andy beat me. Just elaborating on it, though. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/297181-sports-trivia/?do=findComment&comment=1057228034 Share on other sites

Attorney General
Sol Campbell opened the scoring for the Gunner in the 36th minute With a nice header, it was indeed Sol Campell who scored for Arsenal. Then he planted a wet one right on Thierry Henry's cheek. That was such a great game. Alright, this one might be tough. Future Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics. On draft day he was traded to the Bulls for a single player. Who was it? Attorney General
The Sonics received Olden Polynice for Scottie Pippen on draft day. Talk about a lopsided deal. Alright Footy regulars....this should be easy. Who was the Serie A (Italian League) Goalkeeper of the Year in 2004? Seddo
That would be Dida of AC Milan and the only non Italian to win it in something like past 10 years. Italian football on channel 5 ftw. Attorney General
Right you are, sir! You didn't even fall for the bait. My man Gigi Buffon has taken 6 of the last eight with Dida taking it in 04 and Francesco Toldo winning the award in 2000. Open question. Stefan.
Who won the 2005 Champions League? Also, to get it correct, what was the score at half time. Who were they playing. Just to note, you have to answer all three to get a correct point. Good luck! They were down 3-0 at half time, goals coming from Maldini in the first minute and two more from Hernan Crespo. They were playing AC milan. flicko
Oh what a match that was, it was worthy of a DVD purchase from me Well I know one certain Liverpool fan who didn't enjoy it, read about it in the newspaper just after the final and I'l always remember it. This guy was a full on too committed Liverpool fan, he took the game too seriously: When Liverpool legend Emilyn Hughes died, he had a nervous breakdown. And at half time in the champions league final when the Reds were 3-0 down, the guy hung himself, ironic or what, to say that they actually turned it around to win in the end. tony da boss
It's been a reasonable amount of time and flicko hasn't asked a question, so I'll have a go. Attorney General
Ronaldinho rocks number 10, doesn't he? At least I think he does, most of the top players seem to wear the 10. Actually, if any of the soccer regulars could explain th significance of number 10...I'd be interested. The only reason I even know what number he is is because I have a soccer game with him in it. Attorney General
Sweet, I'm finally on the board! How about this one, going back a decade to the 97-98 NFL season, there have been 10 Super Bowls. Only two of them were won by NFC teams, who are they?
