Hydra fly to my position

Hi all my im french coder in scm and after two hours i dont know how can the hydra fly on the sky and go to my position.I dont know whats is the opcode.

If you want the hely to follow you use this:

 

 

0726: helicopter 40@ follow_actor $PLAYER_ACTOR follow_car -1 radius 20.0

Um, he asked for a HYDRA not a heli. Two different opcodes. Actually, more, because you can have a heli follow a player NOT in a car by getting the players position every few seconds and have the heli follow to that point. But I digress.

 

@Topic starter, have a look in the mission "Vertical Bird"; should be plenty to get you started. smile.gif

Thanks all but my question is how can my actor can jump in the hydra and go to a position.Not CJ just an actor.

 

My actor is creat but don't want drive hydra and fly confused.gif

Again, consult the original code. Plan out what you want to do. There's opcodes for sending an actor to a vehicle, flying the plane to a point, changing the thruster direction (hover to cruise), all right in the code that comes with the game.

 

Might also help if you show what you've done so far...

whats (50@,3i)

146@(50@,3i) is a complex representation of a simple variable - you can simply replace it with $myhydra, 1@ or whatever you want to call it.

You have to write your own thread and use the codes which i posted

I posted only the script part for creating hydra and command it to hunt

Go back, learn some tutorials, figure out the basics, then come back when you are ready. Don't take this the wrong way, but it seems you're trying to code way WAY beyond your ability at the moment.
