When I use the computer I tend to have music playing and several tabs in my browser and there's nothing I hate more than having to pause my music and/or having to search through all my tabs to find where the audio is coming from. No. We should not help people when being stupid. Our interface is not intuitive, we are not Apple. Also, this is the reason I have blocked youtube myself using adblock, it is annoying, because I have to use a different browser every time I actually wants to view something at youtube. Alternatively, you could have an option to tick in your control panel to see wither or not you wanted to see youtube videos, and if not, then there would just be a link instead. Because it's seriously annoying, especially when people are doing it solely to be annoying. @Svip I think there are extensions other than adblock that can do it. Flashblock for example, though I've never used it myself. Personally I use Prebar, to which you can add a checkbox for flash. Having Firefox temporarily think I need to install the flash plugin is still better than multiple unwanted bits of audio assaulting my ears at 3am. And unchecking the box and refreshing the page is easy enough. Neither of these are really very good options though. If at some point either of us decide we actually do want to watch one of the youtube vids posted in a thread, we'd need to either undo the workaround (or in your case open another browser), and then we'd still need to stop all the ones set to autoplay before being able to see and hear only the one we want. I love the music and frankly I think GTAF needs more audio other than "The wheels on the bus go round and round". And that old man for the insurance commercial synced perfectly with the music. I thought he was one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. Sometimes it is just funny when you scroll down to someones post and the autoplay happens. There has not been that much abuse of it, in fact almost nobody knows about it, and there are still people who do not know how to properly code the youtube tags. @Donkeh Punch: Where the f^ck do you find all those retarded youtube videos, its like a talent of yours. Especially in topics where more than one video is posted, they all start loading at once. besides raping bandwith, you can hear them all start at once. it's an interesting aural experience.
