TanisHalfElven
I went out about half an hour ago and bought GTA: SA for the PC. I do not know which version it is, but it came with a nifty hardcover city guidebook. I started up GTA SA, and made a game, completed the first mission to open up CJ's house to save my game and ran Control Center. However, upon trying to sync the control center to my game, I found out Control Center cannot find that my game is running. I installed Control Center in a new folder on my desktop, while GTA itself is installed to Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas Whats wrong? Why won't it pick up that I have GTA running? Windows XP SP2 GTA San Andreas Version 2.0 (Figured out via a V.2.0 gamesave) Also, I tried out this little vehicle spawning program called "CarSpawner" and everytime I hit a hotkey or spawn a vehicle my game crashes. EDIT: Okay, it's either 2.0 (as indicated by the gamesave), or 1.1, because when I switched the little version tab to 1.1 it synchronized O_o Edited October 4, 2007 by TanisHalfElven
pdescobar
Most trainers and other such programs only work with the version 1 executable. If you want to be able to use those tools, you'll need to find such an executable but because of warez restrictions, don't ask about getting it here. Try googling for the "downgrader" patch. Note that on the main menu of your game, the version number will appear in the lower-right-hand corner if you have version 1.01 or later. EDIT: can't tell my right from my left
