arafiq48
I don't get it the story, In Grand Theft Auto III Catalina shoots you (Claude) right in the face. Then runs off with the bank robbery money with the triads. But in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in the racing mission with Wu Zi Mu ("Woozie") she dumps Carl Johnson and leaves for Claude again. Can some one please explain to me or just tell me where I am wrong? CryptReaperDorian
GTA SA takes place in 1996 which Claude and Catalina got together then in GTA III which takes place in 2001 then you have to kill Catalina. See how it works SA before III?

See how it works SA before III? Actually, GTA SA takes place in 1992. It says in the beginning of the game. Catalina was with the columbians, not triads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but she betrayed claude because she wants to be on her own, or dosn't like him anymore. I don't know exactly, but I'm guessing that. See how it works SA before III? Thanks CryptReaperDorian and lambo128. The dates really confused me. Now I know what exactly goes on. Catalina and Claude meet in San Andreas. Then they move to Liberty City and the fights and stuff start. One other question, why does Claude never talk? He never talks in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in those two missions or even in Grand Theft Auto III.

Though I believe he grunts or yells if he is hurt though.

ztothee
On my perspective, Claude dosent talk because rockstar didnt want to create a whole games worth of speech for him.
Steve Crook
Ok, thanks CryptReaperDorian, so hes, deaf, mute, and he can grunt, bone crack and yells allot, ok thanks for the help! He's not deaf, unless Catalina has been screaming in his ear a lot. He hears and understands instructions OK. He's just taciturn Steve

Yeah, that could be true too, but then probably in Vice City the fans wanted a talking a main character unlike in GTA, GTA2, and GTA3.
