xNamexTakenx Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Actually, I had the same question. I beat GTA 3, and yet, when I go back to Portland, El Burro's still calling me on the pay phone! pdescobar Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 It simply allows you to redo the race mission in case you want to try and get a better time. All three of the "gang" phones work that way. After you finish all the phone missions on Staunton, you can redo Bling Bling Scramble to get a higher score and I think it's the one with the bomb you have to get defused for the SSV phone.
