Canofceleri
Has anyone seen it? I've managed to get a few people to see it, a few friends, but I don't think they were quite primed for it. You have to have a discriminating eye for the art of this film, which might very well go unappreciated by someone who has got a Hollywood stronghold on them. I've seen it probably six or so times since I discovered it about five months ago, and it truly gets deeper and more beautiful each time. To me, it's a perfect film. topdogkiller
one of lynch's best. Dennis hopper was at his f*cking best in that movie. One thing that puzzles me. What the idea with kyle maclachlan's dad having some sort of attack in the beginning. I haven't scene the movie in a long time. Canofceleri
The only thing I could really get from the father's collapse in the beginning was that just before it the hose he was using to water the plants got all tied up and there was some build up and blockage, sort of foreshadowing the imminent fall. makeshyft
Oh man! I remember seeing this film a few years ago. The scene with Dean Stockwell's character lip-synching into an illuminated microphone gave me chills.
solo
Great film. Bought it years ago on VHS, watched it a few times then stuck it up in the attic and forgot about it. Found it again a few months ago, but don't have a VCR any more
