--CellTech-- Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 I just got a new dvd burner and it came with Nero 6 ultra edition and i was trying to get a AVI file movie on to the DVD+R CD and when i went to add it on the program it wouldnt add, so do you have to convert the AVI files to something b4 you can burn? Crokey Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 Are you trying to get the avi file onto a DVD so it can be played in a domestic DVD player, with menus etc (if menus are required). If so, you should open up Nero Smart Start, then select the Photo and Video option, the Make you Own DVD-Video, and this should open up Nero Vision and you should be able to import the video into there, it should then before the burn process convert it to the DVD format. If you are doing that and it isn't working then you could try reinstalling it again, and when doing so download the Cleaner Tool from the Nero website after you uninstall, before you do the install process again.
