i understand there is a fact sheet, but this one here

is a faster way to look at all the facts in-game, thats why its call FASTFACTS

 

 

GTA FASTFACTS

 

Story:

Niko Bellic, a mid-thirties Easter European man,

has come to Liberty City to pursue the "Amercian Dream".

Niko was persuaded to move to Liberty City by his cousin Roman,

who claimed he was living a fabulous life, with two women,

four hot tubs and fifteen sports cars. Whats really up,

is that Roman is in debt and a lot of people are after him.

He needs Niko's support, but Niko has yet to find that out.

 

Setting: Liberty City

 

•Map is smaller than San Andreas, but more detailed.

•NOT replica of NYC, but R* has recreated 4 of 5 boroughs and a lil' bit of New Jersey.

-Brooklyn = Broker

-Manhattan = Algonquin

-Queens = Dukes

-Bronx = Bohan

-New Jersey = Alderney

•Statue of Liberty = Staue of Happiness

•Times Square = Star Junction

•DUMBO = BOABO

•MetLife building = Getalife building

 

Characters:

•Niko Bellic (main character)

•Roman (Niko's cousin)

•Elizabeta (unknown)

•McReary(Corrupt Cop)

•Lil' Jacob (Caribbean Arms Dealer)

•Tom Goldberg (Shady Lawyer)

•Karen (Receptionist)

 

There is NO Loading at all after the first load in the start of the game

--------------New Features---------------

 

City:

•realistic shadows appear depending on the time of day

•there will be no more pop-ups of buildings and trees

•each street is individually named

•there is no health pick-ups scattered throughout the city

•ammu-nation are no longer part of gta iv

•Pay'n'Spray ARE in Liberty City, but will not take away the wanted star level

•usable ATM's are scattered around

 

Main Character:

•can change clothes

•can use cellphone to call (or text?) contacts

•can climb ladders, fire escapes and telephone poles

•can use ANY computer scattered around Liberty City

•can eat and sleep to recharge

•can use ATM's

•can mugg peds

•can bribe characters

•your able to see damage on body if shot or injured

•your able to see armour

•depending on the terrain, the character movement changes

 

Vehicles:

•No flyable airplanes, although you'll see some flying around

•Helicopter are included and you'll be able to pilot them

•Boats are also drivable

•Traffic flow changes depending on the time of day

•When a car with loud music on passes you, you'll be able to hear the bass from outside

•Leaving the door open when outside the car, you'll be able to hear the radio

•car's trunks will be openable

•Taxis are one of many ways to get around

-when you hail a taxi and get in, you have the option to sit back and watch a 360-view or skip it and get to your location

-you'll also be able to pay the taxi driver double the fare so he can go twice the fast

•In order to steal a car you must smash the window (one of many animations to get in) and hot-wire it

 

Pedestrians:

•sit on benches

•read books, newspaper

•smoke cigarettes

•talk on cellphones

•eat while walking

•use ATM's

•can mugg other peds

•will run away if they see a gun

•carry groceries

-and if the bag where to spill, he/she will start picking it up

•can now report crimes such as car-jacking

 

Weapons:

•bullet holes will appear on cars once shot at

•a 'over the shoulder' view will appear once a gun is taken out

•can be bought from lil'jacob

 

Police and Wanted System:

•you'll only get a wanted level star if someone sees you commiting a crime

•when u get a star, a circle on the radar map will appear, which is the (cop's) search area.

-once out of the 'search area', you lose your wanted level star, but if spotted the search area circle will moves towards you

•search area circle will change sized depending on you wanted level

 

cellphone:

•While playing the demo (not me) Niko pulled out his cellphone and had the options of phone book, messages, organiser and camera on its LCD screen. He selects phone book, and he is then presented with another set of options: City Contact, Docks Friend, and Cab Contact. You can use it for GPS. You can set up deals or even ambushes, and the multiplayer option appears also (no details on multiplayer yet)

About the cell phone, you forgot to mention that you go to multiplayer through it, you can take pictures with it, and you can use it for GPS and call in and set up ambushes. Also, there won't be any pay and spray or at least its not confirmed, the whole purpose of Pay and Spray is to lose cops, if your talking about remodeling your car, that would be something else. And did you copy and paste that or brainstormed it?

There's also many many more facts that your sheet is missing, but there are so many that it may take me a while to brainstorm them all, this info should be enough to explain to the newcomers anyway.

pay n spray is actually confirmed. only there will be just a few of them, and will be far away from eachother.

Yeah one thing I would like to add(this one is not shown on alomst all sites as a fact) but add the factthat peds can swim. Its clearly seen at the very begining of Trailer 2. Need proof? i'll e-mail you a picture but yea just add that.
