I've already tried running it in W2K/98 and all the others, and deleted the gta_set file from my GTA San Andreas User Files.. This also is a legal copy I've heard that the problem has to do with the nVidia Chipset, and I couldn't find any fixes for it (Also because there isn't a search function on this forum?) I just assembled this computer a couple hours ago (Yes, it's brand new ^^) Hope anyone knows how to fix this.. Thanks for your time and also thanks in advance for the effort Greetings Sounder The Netherlands

VCHolmes
Make sure that both Video and sound drivers are updated. Also ensure that you've got DirectX 9.

cold fusion 33
I bet your firewall is blocking it and it's not telling you, try starting it with firewall turned off or make an exception for it.
Ring_of_Fire
AMD drivers you missed: Dual-Core optimizer... http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_ty...ities/Setup.exe Processor driver... http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_ty...amdcpusetup.exe and yes, it's the original DVD And that still doesn't mean you installed the game fully and correctly. San Andreas is 3.94GBs in "My Comuter". Once it is installed fully, it's 4.68GBs (at least) in Add/Remove Programs. Confirm this for everybody posting here. Also, update to the latest http://nomorehotcoffee.com/ patch if you don't have the Second Edition of San Andreas. Less confusion and the like. Locked.
