Rudiculous
Hello, For some time now I have played GTA: SA without problems. Today however, after I upgraded my monitor, the game stopped working. When I try to run GTA: SA, the DVD-player (external Samsung WriteMaster) reads the DVD-rom and then nothing happens (not even an error or a black screen, nothing). I used to work with a iiyama Visionmaster 450 and today I upgraded to a iiyama ProLite E1900S. After connecting the new monitor with a DVI-cable I booted the PC and tried to run GTA: SA. Nothing happened. I reinstalled the game, with the new monitor attached, and tried to run GTA: SA again. Nothing happened. I connected the monitor with the analog cable, tried to run GTA: SA. Nothing happened. I reinstalled the game, with the analog cable attached, tried to run GTA: SA. Nothing happenend. Has anyone got suggestions what I could try to make GTA: SA work again? Thanks in advance for any help. Rudiculous
VCHolmes
Delete the 'gta_sa.set' file. The .set file contains a hardware profile of your PC. Using a .set file containing info about different hardware makes the game to crash. Delete the .set file, and a new one will be created by the game.
