Sharing Folders

I was talking to my girlfriend today and she said "nice pictures in your Sharing Folder with me". Two things...

 

i) What exactly is a Sharing Folder? I've seen the icon but never knew how to use it or what it does?

ii) How are pictures put in it?

 

I ask the second point because she goes on to describe the picture in said Sharing Folder and it's a picture of a whip and handcuffs.

Now I'm not that sort of bloke, so I haven't saved, nor got any links in my history regarding bondage equipment (having not searched for it) and neither has she. Is something fishy here or have we got the wrong end of the stick regarding Sharing Folders?
