Sorry I couldn't complete the mission guys, but my computer froze everytime I got within a 50m or so radius of the garage on "Are You Going To San Fierro?"

The next time something like this happens, please post back saying you are calling a forfit, or something to let us know that you had problems and can't complete the mission.

I also completed Dirt Track (stadium event) and Military Service (air-race).

 

The only real challenge in Military Service was the corona on the Gant Bridge; it was mostly inside of the invisible barrier. I was able to hover on the west side of the bridge to get it.

Driving skill went up a bit.

 

Took a while becauase I failed the mission, 4 times biggrin.gif

Tried Pimping but flipped the car and it won't self right unless it's less than about 1 degree from normal. Then I went on a rampage after saving, killed a bunch of people, got to 5 stars while on foot and still escaped after using all the minigun ammo. But didn't resave after that.

 

EDIT: I didn't save after failing, I loaded 4 times.

 

And I'm pretty sure I didn't press submission, because it was only mapped as "2" and "+" on the number pad. Which I'm pretty sure I couldn't have pressed at the time. Unless it didn't register when I took L3 off submission. I didn't get out.

 

Another point - it was the EXACT moment I got into the marker for the 15th drop off.

 

I don't know tbh. But it doesn't have to be 50 in a row does it?

Suggestions:

•Do not fail a mission unless it's to collect a special vehicle (BP/DP/EP/FP).

This is not really a strict rule and the turn is valid, but please be a bit more careful with saving after failing missions, minitomo.

No, that should *not* happen. Are you sure you didn't hit the submission key by mistake? Exiting the taxi would end the mission too.

Well it is just a mod'ed taxi. I believe it has Nos. It was just there to do the taxi missions with. Nothing real special.

It's bulletproof too.

 

I'm guessing it was intended to do Taxi while SF is still restricted. Tried it out but got tired of all the "Ooops, - you need to find another fare" after the intended customer got run over by an Enforcer sigh.gif

 

The green color disappears when you run it through a PnS (which you will be doing a lot seeing it isn't damageproof).

Since you can run a regular taxi through a mod shop! I think only the BP quality is unique.

Found an (apparently) everything proof Sandking in an unlocked garage in Fort Carson (probably not a recurring spawn!), it is now parked in the Doherty garage.

Knowing OrionSR it was probably meant as a getaway vehicle, - so I used it for just that.

Well you are both right there is a jet pack up there. It is posiable to get but it is very hard. While developing this me and Orion had a little argument over this. The original spot was alittle to hard and I thoguht it should be easy to get too, so he changed it to this. I have tryed it, and it is posiable. Its not the fire stairs, CJ needs to jump up to the second green roof thing. Geting up the side of the buiding is the hardest, then it is easy as pie.

The new jumps do not show up in SAMA for some reason. Someone else should give it a try.

The new jumps do show up on my SAMA, I uploaded an image of LV to prove it:

The before image doesn't quite line up the other jump near Michelle's correctly; and the jump near michelle's on the after shot is the jump that's not being shown as completed, which I did do.

Edit/update:

I loaded the game prior to my save and completed both of the Unique Jumps near Michelle’s.

 

The jump that’s on the steps at her garage never showed up on SAMA before or after I completed it, but it the game gave me $500 and a ‘completed’ jump message on my screen after I did it; so something is wrong with the way the SAMA is reading that jump’s location. The game, on the other hand, seems to be acknowledging it without any problem.

 

I also completed the EB jump near her place on the steps, and SAMA registered the jump as having been completed after I did it; the appropriate ‘dots’ disappeared from the SAMA screen. It is registering properly on SAMA.

 

So Jump #5, which is one of the new jumps for this round, is still being registered as not being completed, which also appears to be registering properly on SAMA.

 

The problem seems to be the NB jump at Michelle’s Garage; it’s not registering at all on SAMA, the other jumps appear to be fine, so far. Except, I still can't figure out where Jump#5 is, or how to to it.

Um dontgetit.gif We did tests on all the new jumps and they did not show up in SAMA, I'll go check our development board.

 

Ok so I was just looking at my master map, the 2 remaining jumps in SF are new ones. As for them showing up in SAMA, i'm gonna do alittle research on that.

Replies to several things...

 

Phreak is correct: The Green cabbie in the Doherty garage has bullet- (and fire-) proofing and its intended use is 4-star taxi missions; it will be difficult to use that vehicle for 4-star taxi at this point in this round since you'd have to get it to LV now that SF is unlocked. You should be able to repaint it at a transfender to restore the green color.

 

And yes, the Fort Carson Sandking is everything-proof and is basically there because Sandkings are cool wink.gif

 

Regarding the jumps: Only 70 of the jumps show up in SAMA. Unfortunately, there's no telling *which* 70. The order of the jumps in the save file seems to change as the game progresses, and SAMA only reads the first 70 listed in that file; as a result, a different set of 70 will be read by SAMA whenever that happens. It's a big pain, and so we may start removing some of the lamer original jumps to keep the total at a SAMA-friendly 70 in later rounds. When we get near the end of the jumps, I will provide a list of exactly which jumps are left.

No, the save loads perfectly fine here. Try this:

Uninstall the game completely. Delete the file 'gta_sa.set' in the folder '[my documents] \GTA San Andreas User Files'. Reinstall the game. Put your v2 scripts in place. Don't install *any* mods. Try again.

Started stashing vehicles for exports: Cheetah and Stallion in Colton Heights, Buffalo and ZR350 in Paradiso, Sabre in Doherty, Feltzer in Hashbury. Removed the Stretch in Colton Heights since it is readily available behind Wang Cars.

 

Managed to do all that with three-star cops on my tail. smile.gif
