Andyzoot
I didn't know of Star Wars till their re-release back in 97 and at the time I had a Boba Fett ship plus a model of the Jawas transporter with C-3PO and R2-D2...although that one I got free from KFC I also had Star Wars Tazos which you could collect from Walkers Crisps!!!! Rhoda
I also had Star Wars Tazos which you could collect from Walkers Crisps!!!! Too right, Tazos were awesome. And then there was the whole rude C3PO card controversy. Giant Robot Penis... I'm not kidding. EDIT: I love Star Wars, probably one of the first films I ever watched as a kid and I've loved them ever since. darthYENIK
I am a Star Wars geek. Thus the name. I've been a fan since as long as I remember, but really got into it around 1990. I remember my older brother was the perfect age to be into the sequels, so we had a few toys. Of the original trilogy era, I had all of the main characters, and some ewoks. In 1990 or so I started getting more action figures. I had so many, I really can't remember them all. But of the vehicles I had the Millennium Falcon, Snow Speeder, and Slave-1. My collection died down, until the Phantom Menace came out, and went nuts with the collecting. I got all the figures, Darth Maul being the hardest to find, along with some of the Jedi Council. I also collected every toy and collectible cup from Taco Bell/Pizza Hut/KFC. My last hurrah of collecting, went on during the Attack of the Clones release. I probably got 30 to 40 figures that year. Including the clones and droids in all their variants. I also picked up LEGOs, and cereal boxes. The collecting has really stopped since then. I pick random stuff up here and there. But not in the bulk I used to, and usually not toys.
TheDude5000
Also a huge Star Wars fan. I saw Revenge Of The Sith 5 times when it came out, and recently on my birthday, I watched Episodes I-VI. In July, I also re-installed KOTOR and beat it, re-installed Rogue Squadron and beat it, and installed and played X-Wing/Tie Fighter for the first time. I also found a great site full of Star Wars models, and took a B-Wing one and put it into Vice City: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/td5k/55994ace.png When it comes to collecting, I have my fair share of stuff. I've been after an original 1999 Hasbro Darth Maul lightsaber for quite some time now. THe prices and availability on eBay aren't that good though. I'm looking forward to the new Clone Wars and live action shows, and hopefully a theatrical and/or 3D re-release of the entire series. Happy 30th anniversary to one of the best movie series of all time. Cheers.
GTA3Freak-2001
I can't say I've been a big fan for that long, I mean I've always liked the movies being that I like anything sci-fi but not your average fanatical fan who has to have anything and everything SW. It wasn't until the Star Wars train started up again with the 1997 re-release that followed with the video games the prequel movies I started to really get into the whole Star Wars universe. I mostly blame the outburst of Star Wars games in the late late 90's for my current like for Star Wars.
