SubZer0_01
Yeah well the game stutters for me not much more to say really. I have 1GB RAM, Geforce 6200, And a P4 processer (=/). Im sure the game should run fine with these specs, well yeah it should run fine seen as though i completed the game then reinstalled it and now, well it stutters like a bitch. It seems like its trying to load all the time but it isnt working and i play NO-CD so i dunno if that has anything to do with it. Anyway suggestions would really be helpful ty. Bad~Boy#17
What does stuttering mean?
SubZer0_01
Well stuttering is hen the game just jumps every 5 seconds like the framerate drops from 50 - 5 then back again and so on. I have tried with and without frame limiter to no avail...

VCHolmes
Graphics and performance may affect each other, when your hardware isn't powerful enough. Decide on what you want. If great graphics is what you want, get a good graphics card. If you want good performance with your current graphics card, try what Bad~Boy#17 said. Ring_of_Fire
CPU is what affect stuttering. If you really think it is RAM, go into MSCONFIG and do a selective or diagnostic startup. You will have less than 20 processes running, but the game still stutters. Graphics card help reduce stuttering, but it will slow down if the CPU can't process data fast since it also has to worry about the Windows operating system itself. Try buying an Athlon X2 or Intel Pentium D or Dual-core/Core 2 Duo, if your motherboard supports it.

O yeah...You shoot at a guy....wait for 5 seconds for the bullet to hit him....another 5 seconds that his hp triangle changes colour and another 5 seconds for him to shoot you back So what, if the game's graphic is so cool

It's because of Your processor, It can't take the game. (OK it has something to do with graphics too.)

Did you even see the movie ? You may turn the EFX to 0 to reduce the lag when you'r in a fire. Or do you when you start playing, take the flamethrower and burn you'r self to death Edited October 4, 2007 by Bad~Boy#

totem327
You guys he said he's played the game through before and it's only stuttering now. You shouldn't need to upgrade your computer it's above the recommended specs. I don't know what's wrong but you could get new drivers for your video card, like the omega drivers http://www.omegadrivers.net/. But please stop telling him to get a new computer or turn off game settings. I have a computer thats half as fast as his and the game works fantastic. SubZer0_01
Well I fixed it.. Dunno if it'll work on anyone elses computer but when the game is running I decided to take a look at my processes and I started to remove these 1 by 1 and check on the game performance. So through trial and error I discovered that removing "tbon.exe" stopped the stuttering lag completely . Hope this helps anyone who is having this problem. Yeah, I should have suggested that. But I'm confused with this topic, with several people saying that they have the same problem. Always good to terminate unwanted processes, thanks for reminding me. By the way, So through trial and error I discovered that removing "tbon.exe" stopped the stuttering lag completely . Hope this helps anyone who is having this problem. Looks like adware. Not much of a risk, but better get it removed as its using up your system resources. Make sure that you've got a good anti-virus/anti-spyware and firewall running. You can use Ad-Aware for removing adware and spyware.
