Lucky Horseshoes

Has anyone ever noticed their luck getting better after collecting all the lucky horseshoes?

I always collect them and my luck seems to be exactly the same before and after collecting them.

 

That's looking at my luck in gambling with & without the horseshoes, sometimes I win, sometimes I don't. And similarly, my luck in having all the "civilian" cars keep out of my way when I'm racing. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Having all the lucky horseshoes seems to make no difference

You are right, horseshoes don't have any effect on your luck at all. Collecting all of them just makes weapons spawn at the savepoint in front of the Four Dragons Casino. M16, MP5, Satchel Charges and the Spas Shotgun (don't know the exact name).

 

Luck isn't really a stat as I remember it, gambling is, but that increases by just gambling alot.

 

EDIT: just read that luck is an actual stat ingame, wonder what the hell it does, I never noticed any increase of luck during any part of the game.

Luck is an actual stat (stat 233 to be precise) which increases by 20 with each horseshoe collected and can be viewed on the Player section of the stats screen (last thing listed), but I also believe it's pretty much meaningless.

Yes, it's worth collecting them for the weapons.

Shame they don't seem to affect your luck though
