Won't work.

Hey I've tried to change things in the handling.cfg, weapon.dat and carcol.dat but whenever I change something it doesn't work. I've gone to tutorials and stuff and I'm doing everything it says yet it won't work. I'll change the colour of an Ambulance for example, load up GTA 3 and nothing will have changed!

 

This has happened for everything I've changed in these three files. What am I doing wrong?

Adding? you have to replace the original line.

And it dont work? Are you sure you are saving it rigth? does the file have ReadOnly?

I'm saving it properly coz when I quit out of the file and go back in my changes are still there.

(just for a test)

 

There’s more chance of it showing up with that, you are restarting the game after you made the changes right?
