Girish
Try a complete re-install. This is what you do: 1. Uninstall the game from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. 2. Delete any remaining folders manually, if necessary. 3. Delete the gta_sa.set file from GTA San Andreas User Files folder in My Documents. 4. Re-install the game. VCHolmes
Yes, you should update your sound drivers. Copying the game's files will not change anything, the problem is with the hardware. Also. the .set file in the User Data folder contains a hardware profile of your PC, so If you copied it from your laptop, delete it. Please read the posting requirments: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=264413 It may be boring to read, but will be of much help to you. So here's what I suggest : 1. Update your sound drivers. 2. Decrease sound acceleration in DirectX (Try running the game at all notches). 3. Delete the .set file (GTA San Andreas User Data\gta_sa.set)
