vininfinite
I got a dell laptop, Inspiron 1150, and it wont go out of sleep mode. I'm 100% sure that it is sleeping since I was there when it went to sleep. Now it wont do anything but blink its battery light when I press the power button. The chargers plugged in and battery shouldn't be dead anyway. I tried going to dell, but their website keeps giving me sorry messages. Does anyone know the keys I have to press to get it out out sleep?
Fozzy Fozborne
On my Dell Latitude D810, I have to press the power button (briefly, like a tap) to get it out of sleep mode (like you said with the blinking light). I'd say try that first.
vininfinite
No, nothing happened.
Statutory Ray
I would just remove the battery, put it back in, then turn it back on. Unless you've tried that, then your problems go further than "won't come out of sleep mode."
vininfinite
Did it, but now the battery light stays on for a while instead of blinking for a while when i press the power button. nvm, it back to normal, but I know now that it flashes when the charger is unplugged and dosent when it is plugged in. Finaly got dell.com to work, but I got nothing from the tech support or the person on person talk. I read something about the 7500, i think, about how you have to press the windows button, but I got a 1150 and it ain't got no windows button. I was reading something on the dell forums and it gave me an idea. I'm just going to unplug it and take out the battery. I leave it for a day or so and try again.
