Ok, so I've had San Andreas for over 2 years... and before that I had Vice City.... and before that I had GTA3. And I must've spent a total of 25 hours over all three games doing Paramedic missions.... and NOW I figure out that you can see the location of the patients on the map! It never occurred to me before last night that they were on anything else but the radar. So I've wasted hour after hour trying to accomplish this mission, getting more and more annoyed at how lost I got when trying to follow one arbitrary square on the radar which turned out to be the furthest one away...

So last night, I planned each level before proceeding - and lo and behold, I succeeded first time!

So please, feel free to point and laugh at how insanely stupid I have been for the last 5-6 years. biggrin.gif

Points and laughs wink.gif

The blips on map feature was introduced in VC, - GTA-III didn't have it (and paramedic hasn't been worthy of mention since)

Are you sure? I always thought there were blips... bored.gif

There were blips on the radar (showing direction of patients out of radar range) but not on the map, - come to think of it, I don't think you could view the entire map in III.

You couldn't, no. Although if you have a look around the Modding Forums, I think that someone created a mod which allowed you to view a map on the GTA III pause menu.
