Riches To Rags

For some odd reason, I have over 100 million dollars on my primary San Andreas file. Don't ask how, or where I got it. For one thing it ain't the health and money cheat.

Anyways, I don't like having so much. I like to actually struggle in the game, like in the very beginning when I had to beat people to death for money just to get a haircut. I'd like that once again.

However, gambling a million dollars away in the casino runs the risk of winning it back, and it's so damn boring. Is there any other way at all I can lose A LOT of money all at once?

Cheers.

I don't think there is any other way to lose money than to gamble.

I guess you'll have to start a new game.

I think you can lose ~ $10 mil pr. bet at Inside Track Betting ($1 mil* max at the casino), - so it should be ~ 10 times faster.

You can put even more money on a horse in the Off Track betting machines.

It takes a while to load it all up, and there's still a 1 in 6 chance of winning back even more.

Or you can play roulette in the casino. Play on single numbers and play the last number that came up. There's less chance of that winning than by sticking on a single number. But there's still a chance you'll win at that as well.

Save your game before you start playing and if you're unlucky enough to win, go back to the saved game

Intentionally bust in Blackjack until you lose everything. Once in a while, you might get Blackjack, but you'll lose more of the time.

But you can accidentally win 10 times faster as well.

I thought that when you get over $99,999,999 your money is infinite?

Actually $999,999,999 is. It's just when you have less than $100 Million, the digit in the hundred millions place doesn't show until you get that much.

I was doing so well, I had been using Steve's method on betting on the number that last came up. I'd lost 20 million (approximately a 5th of the way through) and I won.

350,000,000 dollars.

This is why you should play million dollar blackjack as Rashon. said. By intentionally trying to bust every time, you lose much more often than you win and if you do win, it doesn't completely nullify all your hard work. Anything with big odds runs the risk of winning back everything (plus more) as you just found out.

Note, I assume that you are either playing on a console or are taking it as a personal challenge to do this "legitimately". Because on the PC, a trainer, save editor, or very simple script mod would get rid of your money immediately.

Blackjack seems to a be a good idea also, it's certainly quicker in some respects as your previous bet remains, so all you have to do is intentionally lose. Might try that later tonight.

And yeah, I'm on a console, if only I was skilled enough to play GTA on a PC, San Andreas could be my oyster. I prefer console versions, simply because that's how I grew up playing games.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll be broke in no time. icon14.gif

Do you have all the Horseshoes? Because if you do, it might be slightly harder to lose all that money but then again intentionally losing is easiest in Blackjack or Roulette. When playing Blackjack, try to double your bet so you end up losing $2 Million. It's a faster way to lose the money, but since you can only choose double after the cards are dealt, there'll probably be a higher chance of winning if you got a middle number when opening (ex: 8-11).

Well I did say "There's less chance of that winning" not that you'll always lose on it. Save your game every 10 bets. Then, if you are unlucky enough to win, just run from your last saved game.

Okay, thanks to all your help I managed to lose approximately 70 million dollars in half an hour! As I have all the horseshoes, at first I kept winning my money back which was especially annoying when I went for the Split or Double, but when I got the hang of intentionally loosing, I was losing 2-5 million dollars a time. Then, I bought the entire Binco range and now I've barely got enough for a Salad Meal at Burger Shot. Thanks guys! biggrin.gif

Did you notice your "criminal rating" change? What was it when you began to lose money and what was it when you finished?
