nealmac
The dumb Brady guide says you have to clear the red sign. I have done this on more than one occasion, but I can't get the damn thing to regester. Any Idea where I'm going wrong?
Berkley
You should use NRG-500.
GTA Phreak
Maybe you're using the wrong ramp? Anyway this Video should give you an idea what is required. (The numbering scheme refers to the GameFAQs map) You actually don't need to clear it, - clipping it is ok as long as you don't smack into it. nealmac
I am using the NRG. And I'm definitly using the right ramp. I'll have a look at that vid later when I get a chance. Thanks guys.
Rhoda
This is going to sound patronising, but maybe it's not so much height but distance too. Though the Brady Games guide says clearing the ramp is enough (I also own the guide, it's not the most accurate one though) maybe distance plays a part. Try leaning forward for extra speed. major underscore
I suppose this is the jump you're talking about? As you can see in the video, you don't have to fly over the sign to pass the stunt jump. Don't know what you could be doing wrong though if, as you say, you're hitting the right ramp and even going over the sign.
OrionSR
I find it helps to lift the front wheel of the NRG and hold it at about a 45 degree angle as the bike is climbing after the jump. This seems to provide a little more height, which leads to the distance required to land the jump. However, if the jump is still giving you trouble, try using an Infernus, Banshee, or Bullet on this jump. These vehicle consistently provide more distance for me than the NRG. Depending on the progress you've made in the game, you can install nitrous in these vehicles for even more distance, but it should be necessary. The tricky part is missing the lights bordering the runway.

Hell, that Brady guide has a lot to answer for. Don't even get me started on the horseshoes But yeah, I have tried the leaning forward thing, and while it definitely adds speed, it sure as hell doesn't credit me for the jump. I was very surprised to see that you didn't have to clear the sign. Maybe I need to hit the ramp more squarely. I'll try again tonight. bagga rabbit
I had a hell of a time getting that jump too, good luck.Try to stay off the CONCRETE.
BixDugan
A fast car with nitro is the only way I could pass that jump. And I tried and tried using bikes.
nealmac
Woohoo!! I got it at last with the NRG500. The funny thing is, that it wasn't actually a huge jump I made, compared to some of the others. I think it's more important that you hit the ramp square-on, so that involves a bit of last minute adjustment, as you approach the ramp.
