Real: Can someone help me

Hi, my name is marciano and i have 'a serious problem.'

I've downloaded rel gta 3 and I've installed it (like readme says). But the problem is that i have the same cars, maps and so on... nothing changed. I also deleted TXD.IMG and TXD.DIR

I don't understand:s

 

I have windows vista, maybe that's the reason?

Can someone help me please

O.K what version of GTA3 you have?

i had it and i know it use's some custom cars and other things but it never screwed up on me?

and im not too sure about vista with games particulary older games or maybe your computer isnt up to the challenge?

 

EDIT: hmm it seems that ALL of the cars are changed and the map looks a little different?

EDIT EDIT: My solution fresh install of the game and then apply the mod and see if it works ok

This isn't the modding section.

 

But i had this problem before, try making a folder somewhere called

"RealGTA", then choose to install it in that folder.

Then copy and paste them folders to your GTA3 Folder and replace

all the folders there. Now delete txd.img and txd.dir files.

The suggestions given should fix the problem, a fresh install will anyway.
