well sacky you bought ours heads i got the same error as Rafioso and the game don't want to run, i was forced to reinstall the game T_T

make a read me dammit if you had enough skills to make a nice limit ajuster for SA (and thx for this ) write a read me ...

Update Alpha 6:

 

- Fixed Leaving Crash (well not really, just circumvented it)

- Added HUD Position options

- Added IPLEX functions that allow you to map outside the border (with only 255 objects though)

 

and that's it really, just a small update here because I know I haven't given you one for ages. Same link as before

Yes, but I don't know how at the moment, maybe making an alternative ID table for SCM Data?

 

 

has anyone succeeded in adding a brand new car yet?

 

I believe this is possible by adjusting the vehicles limit with this limit adjuster, then using Alexander Blade's handling adder.

If I use the limit adjuster, then I can't use the modified nos mod cause they use the same dll...

 

Is it possible to use both?

yes you must define this dll into the limits.ini(but you must add in the other folder(but with the d3d9.dll_or rename and detour with the limits.ini to the main gta folder.

Take the question to sacky when you have some problems. but i can do big help;]

Doesn't even work anymore. I mean with previous releases it was really buggy, but it still worked. I could load a game and play. But now I load or start a new game and I crash as soon as CJ spawns, something about an .exe error. sarcasm.gif

I don't get that, and neither do my testers... could you paste the errordump.txt here? Are you sure your not using v2.0 of SA?

You can add vehicles with the IMG tool, but don't add too many or buildings will start to dissapear in the game.I think I was able to add 5 vehilces any more than that will screw it up depending on their size I guess.

Does this thing even work for anybody or what? You know I get all excited thinking there's finally a way to uncap the +5 limit...but removing existing defined objects to raise the limit would be much less of a hassle than trying to get this thing to work

Lol I hate to jinx it but I doubt the plus 5 limit will ever be hacked. I was all excited too thinking I could change all the vehicles. Thats what I get for getting my hopes up I guess. I personally would rather be driving arround in real cars rather than adding onto the map but that is my own opinion. I hear SOL for Vice city is pretty cool. Think I will give that a run and let San Andreas rest in peace where it belongs.

Yeah it's a shame, but I think it can be unhacked. How? Removing an existing object to make space for a new one.

 

Here's my theory:

 

-Remove the .txd and .dff from gta3.img

-Remove the .col from the proper .col library(countn2.col, for example)

-Remove the .ide and .ipl entries in the respective data\maps folder

 

And for every model you did this for, that would be one more new object you could put in San Andreas. If you used this technique on 5 models, that would raise the limit to +10, for example.

That error can be alievated by removing the extra.iplex from the saex.dat in your GTA San Andreas folder

 

 

Now next Problem:

 

Get the new version of SA Limit Adjuster

This can beat the 5+ limit for objects, increase the ColModel/IDE limits

I'm sure it can beat limits...problem is SA crashes for every little thing. Changing resolutions, loading a save game, starting a new game, right after CJ spawns it crashes, or maybe you can idle there for a while and it'll still crash, if you move around a few seconds later it crashes..

 

I hope eventually a stable version of this is released..right now it's just too buggy to be of conventional use, no offense.

Maybe its not crashing for me because I use a custom SCM, I will test this stuff now.
