Sorry for late reply but i have founded something if you are putting high quality cars in game, their txd contains images in formats 1024 X 1024 or 512 X 512 The san andreas will use to much memory to show them and there won't be enough memory for other txd to show, if you size them to 256 x 256 or 128 X 128 you will lose some little quality on cars but buildings and roads will show up like before clean and no lods tounge.gif

 

 

It is because The san andreas engine doesn't works with txd sized over the 256 X 256 it is hardcoaded and that is what sacky is cracking

 

 

And that is how my gta3.img size 1,5 gb work like one of 918 mb tounge.gif

well I could do that right now without cracking anything just extract the txd to bmp and resize it then import it back to txd format

the only problem is the DFF files are also way larger on downloaded vehicles than it is on the original vehicles. There is a mod that changed buidling textures. I have not played it yet but from what I hear it works. I still believe there is a way to just crack the limit and not have to worry about messing with any img files

you dont have to worry about dff's you just size those images ind txd's and you will have no problems with lod textures!!! enjoy wink.gif

 

What i am talking about: look high quality cars contains about 10 images in their txd and each one of them is size 1024 x 1024 and when you play san andreas all of those textures needs to show up in that resolution not only for one car but for about 20 of them at the same time so if you get it 20 cars with images around size 1024 x 1024 need to show at the same time it will beat the sh*t out of your memory but if you size them there will be no problems wink.gif

Actually Highpoly cars will make your car go down more than a highpoly building.

 

High res textures can make your game to just ignore the correct files and go for the LODs, also if your txd is corrupted

 

And doing a 1024px texture for a car is mad. (lol the skin of my school bus is 2048px)

 

Well Sacky, I have to ask you: did you find any limit about Particle/effects?

 

I've tried to add a new particle system to the effect.fxp file, and then adding the info to a normal DFF, but the game crashed.

 

In the effects.fxp file there is already a limit or something, I increased it and the game crashed, so I think its because there is a hardcoded limit or something of particle systems, because the new effect I tried was just a copied one with a different name.

ok so in thoery if I edit the dynamic limits I can add all the vehicles I want without overloading the program?

if i Change the number the game crashes

when i change the number of the polygons from 5000 to 10000 the game not crashed but have a big lags;]

Can anyone tell me... Can this limiter adjust the limit so you can map out at sea... Outside the san andreas zone... Also i am getting a crash as soon as i define 60 custom objects in my ide... What value must i change to increase this limit ... Thanx

you must increase this limits:

IDEs=14000 (with numbers the object you add for example when you add 20 ides you must increase to 14020)

ColModels=10138 (increase when you add new collision script to col file for example when you add 20 collision script you must increase to 10158)

Collision Files=256(increase when you add new file .col for example when you add 2 col file to img you must increase to 258)

i dont know how to open dll but sacky limit adjuster can open some d3d9.dll(but i dont know what are it working but i try to this but when i select the directory and file this dll dont work;/)

(in ini limits)

and i say its be some mod who add the ligts on/off and engine on/off

Some news on the new version

 

I have managed to make the HUD Positions configurable, this applies to:

 

- Time Stamp

- Weapon Icon

- Health/Armour/Air Bar

- Money Text

 

I still have to find:

 

- Altitude Meter

- Map

- Wanted Levels

well sacky you bought ours heads i got the same error as Rafioso and the game don't want to run, i was forced to reinstall the game T_T

make a read me dammit if you had enough skills to make a nice limit ajuster for SA (and thx for this ) write a read me ...

 

imagine i give you my peugeot 306 without keys you'll say what ? thank you ?
