Thank you i will try that do i need to keep the SA limit adjuster or do i just need that?

EDIT: Works but i still get the same problems as above just without the error message popping up after now.

You don`t need limit adjuster. This tool is (itself) limit adjuster, but without other functions.

As for the error, I can`t help you... (because I don`t have any)

Hey sacky, I have two suggestions for gamelimits that would be nice if they could be hacked smile.gif

first, the carcols lines in carcols.dat. Currently, one can only have 8 different combinations of colours in the each carcols line for a vehicle. Every additional combination is ignored by the game.

second, the cargrp.dat. There is a limit at 23 (I'm not entirely sure about that 23, but there is definately a limt) cars for each pedgroup. Every additional car there will be ignored by the game.

Is it possible to hack those limits?

It would be great if those could be added to your tool inlove.gif

Simply change d3d9.dll into d3d9.asi (for ENB series, and not for limit adjuster) Edited by Jasenko

Rename d3d9.dll (limiter) into SALimit.asi, and keep original ENB Series dll file. I`ve tried myself, and it worked smile.gif

Thanks man, but i tried that and my game crashed once loading started. Is it because my asi loader is out of date? or did i miss out any steps? Like do I add SALimit.asi into saloader.ini or something? thanks for your help though smile.gif

You don`t have to add anything on on saloader.ini.

Like I said before, just rename d3d9.dll for SA limiter into SALimit.asi and keep original d3d9.dll for ENB Series.

And yes, update your asi loader. If that doesn`t work, I`m unable to help you because in my case both limiter and ENB series are working fine confused.gif

I had the same problem and here's the way i got rid of that and now it works fine ,i've created a new folder(named it ENB) in my SA directory then moved ENB's d3d9.dll there and in saloader.ini added the path to it,i have it like this ENB/d3d9.dll

it's simple, just download sacky's limit adjuster extract it to your gta sa directory, open salimits.ini ,find the line "streaming memory" set it to something like 80-150,to make it work you must remove '#' in front of "streaming memory" line, after it's done save it,then open saex.dat and delete this line "IPL DATA\MAPS\EXTRA\extra.iplex",save it and then enjoy the game

ok, I suspect my asi loader must be out of date then, but what is the latest version and where can i download it? Also, does the streaming memory exist only in latest version of limit adjuster, as i also cant find that line as i would like to try it out.

It would be great if someone can provide me the download links. thx smile.gif

Sacky, you're the greatest, man! Now I can play this great game with all vehicles replaced, and the textures don't dissapear anymore.

I bought San Andreas recently, and I think it's EU 2.0, I don't know, it has this hash: 4e99d762f44b1d5e7652dfa7e73d6b6f.

When I load the game with the new big img file, it loads only to half, and crashes. If I want to use your limit adjuster it says: "Grand Theft Auto SA requires at least DirectX version 9.0". So I can't use my EU 2.0 exe.

If I use 1.0 Hoodlum, the game runs fine, and the limit adjuster work ok, but this 1.0 version has an issue, and often when I hit escape to see the map, the game crashes, and I'm losing all my progress.

That's why, I need somehow to make the limit adjuster work with my 2.0 exe.

Can someone give me a good 2.0 version, or at least a good 1.01 version that works with the limit adjuster?

I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

I have a problem.

After installing Project Oblivion 2007, SA crashed. I don`t know why (there are no other map-mods installed), but it keep saying "ID limit breached".

I`ve even tried to edit ID limit using both limit adjuster and exe limit patch-program, but the game still crashes at 50%.

This is my "errordump" file:

GTA:SA Crashed, Debug Info Follows:

GTA Info:

Version: US 1.0

Last File Loaded: DATA\MAPS\LA\LAn.IPL

Last Library Loaded:

Error: ID Limit Breached

As for ID limits themself, I`ve made "ColModels=99999"

Damn, I took a break from GTAF - popped back in today and there's still no release of version 8, Sacky? I was really hoping to make use of it in B2R 4.0 (with your permission, of course) but what I most need this tool to do, it can't accomplish in the current version. You're breaking my heart... cryani.gif

TheTrekhippy

Greetings.

I was using GTA SA Ultimate Editor on GTA SA Ver 1 nocd and crash patch to build mission script, and I had just made a change from the bike at the begining to a new indestructable cheetah, and I am using the Sensor switcher. The game crashed after eating pizza just as I pushed triangle to walk away. So I got the SALimit Adjuster hopeing it would help me figure out how to stop the crashes.

After placing the named files from the first post in this thread explaining the installation of the Limit Adjuster into the directory of GTA SA.exe, I was given this errordump.txt.

GTA:SA Crashed, Debug Info Follows:

GTA Info:

Version: EU 1.0

Last File Loaded: saex.dat

Last Library Loaded: user32.dll

What does this mean?

Same problem for me too. Seems the SAloadrini doesnt work anymore.

And the LOD distance doesnt take effect for me. I can enter any value between 300 and 3000 and it doesnt change anything.

Am I doing something wrong ?
