The streaming memory hack is worked. i put the memory up to 1024MB but i think when i put it to 256MB it is the same. is there a limit how high you can put the straming memory?

 

is the mapping limit hacked? i mean about normal IPL an not about IPLex?

 

sorry for my bad english but im from germany.

Streaming memory works ?? No strange errors with textures if you gut new cars ?

It does seem to work better. I set vehicles to 512 and buildings to 1024. The only problems I have is in Las Venturas. The buildings still dissapear there, but everywhere els is stable. I will try setting vehicles to a higher number and see if that works.

It seems like I can go anywhere but once I go past the Visage building in las venturas the buildings all start to dissapear anywhere I go. As long as I stay away from it I have no problems.

No way to hack the map bounds... I know Sacky's tries (Cause I had to test it ^^). I tried to manipulate the exe directly, but it didnt work... however I got it to get collisions working outside the map bounds, but somehow there was no water and I was set into some kind of interior, but the normal objects were also mapped and some radar blibs where moved.

 

I have to test this again sometime...

Sorry for the triple post. I think the IMG file I am using is probably just old and corrupt. I have had it on DVD for years and the DVD isn't in the best condition. I will just start over on a new one. The streaming memory does indeed work though.

when you will stack the cityes i think you can see the city over you.

 

heres is my theory how you can place the cities next to San Andreas.

 

you can place 255 objects over IPLex so you can put LC and VC into one DFF-model. but i knew that there is a COL limit from 255/-255 so you can do portland for example into 10 DFFs files i mean that you do the buildings,streets and so one into one model file. this would be hard work but i think it should work.

That goes against the rules of such renderware engines. The rule here is to stream, not to pack.

i think it works and its much better to have LC and VC next to san andreas as over san andreas.

Well at the moment I'm working on extending the ID Limit since I've found which array stores it (and some if(sizeof())'s in the code for it). I have been trying hard to extend the Map bounds and these are my 2 most worked on features, I've narrowed the map bounds extension down to a function, however it could be a matter of just making a zon (in map.info/zon.info) to accomodate the new area, can a mapper try this?

What limits do you have turned on (and what are there values)?

 

Update:

 

- Cracked SCM Local Variable Limit (originally 1024)

- Cracked SCM Running Thread Limit (originally 96)

i got the error when I have no limits on. but when i have limits on i got the error too.

I have the same error sometimes, and the game crashes immediately. I turned on only Cars, Carcols and Stream memory limits (both)

EDIT: But "Last File Loaded:" could be any radio station...

Im sorry, but we do not allow any redistribution of Rockstar files... Or any corporately owned file for that matter.

I know mine has to be US version I bought it at best buy. It was the very first dvd version before rockstar had its edited release that removed the hot coffee thing. I do know that starting over with a new saved game made it stop and I was able to play quite awhile before getting a similar error with audio/streams. It wasn't ambience though I will have to try it again to find out exactly what it was.

i have 2gb ram, the gta3.img file is almost 1.5 gb. i'm using 1.0 eu ver. tnx..
