Yes, I changed limit form 210 to 215. The problems occurs when I try to add new models. I tried to change carcols limit and it works w/o problems.

hmmm i have ask to carcols limit in salimits.ini its be the limit of car defined with colours or the defined colours??

It's max amount of colors that can be used in game. It isn't change limitation of colors combination for every car (max color pairs for every car - 8).

This has been asked many times, and i was the first who have suggested it.. BUT please, read back a little.. Sacky answered that he couldn't find the correct memory addresses for streaming memory limit..

No need smile.gif, I tried my theory and the memory usage went up to a whopping 173mb of RAM, so I'll release it really soon with the streaming memory hack I hope works, it also comes with modifiable siren positions.

 

Also I would like to point out that to increase its usability all limits/hacks will come commented out, simply uncomment them to use them.

 

Finally are there any other requests before I release Alpha 7?

What about carmods.dat limit??

 

and maybe you can add some example how to put other d3d9.dll to be played when the game start. I say about this:

 

 

[MODULES]; Here you can detour librarys that GTA Loadsuser32.dll=user32.dll

 

 

but i have problems with this.

Well I think that this would get hard. I codet an Train Limiter for GTA Berlin. The number of trains is defined somewhere directly in the exe... dunno if this is hackable by manipulating the memory ^^

 

@Sacky: He means the number of trains used in the game (Normally there are 16 diffrent trains whre 4 are trams I think!)

Forgive my noobness, but does this thing change the FOV clipping & vehicle spawning distances?

 

I play in triplehead mode but at decent FOVs the clipping's horrible... if SALA can't help atm, any chance it could in future...?

sorry man, it didn't work. I am still getting dissapearing building and vehicle textures. would like to know if anyone els is getting the same problems. Unless somehow I got a previous version because on the 1st page you still have version 6 posted. I did however download it from gtasync.com.

Actually I fixed my problem with cars - I just changed ID's from 612, 613, 614, 699 to 18113, 18114, 18115, 18116.

But when I exit SA I've got an error:

If you need a tester it doesn't take me very long. I already have the modded img file that goes over the streaming memory limit. Or if you want the img file I can put it up on a torrent.
