We could use an existing segment of Top Gear or we could do our own segment...we could even do a whole 1 hour show... Madd Dogg could be our star in a reasonably priced car? We could review the new Cheetah? How about a competition to see which is the best second hand car featuring the Manana, Blista Compact and Stafford? Maybe we need to decide if the Bullet should be on the cool wall? Perhaps we want to know what is the best driving road in San Andreas? etc etc. Thoughts? Ottae Posted November 4, 2007 Share Posted November 4, 2007 f*cking awesome idea, me and TD've been on about making the American special for ages, I've modded a few cars with the cow on the roof and stuff but I reckon making a episode will be a sh*t load easier because it's a lot more versatile. I think for the 3 car challenge, it should be something more relative like pickups, vans or muscle cars. I like the idea of having Madd Dogg as the main character, but for accents sake, Maccer or Kent Paul would probably be easier. Personally, I think this a great idea. An awesome way to get everyone involved on one project and it gives everyone a chance to show off there creative side. I think the hour long show is a bit too much, but we can give it a bloody good go. I think doing a SA version of that YT video above as a community (getting loads of us involved on one video would be awesome with the right people in charge) then anyone interested in helping do smaller sections such as new car reviews and one or two short clips (for example, in Top Gear where Jeremy did them crashing a train into a parked car on some train tracks) Then get them all into one big Top Gear video and hopefully, make up a decent length show. And every TV-Show isnt 60 minutes eh? There are plenty with 30 minutes, and even 15 minutes. So, a 60 minutes show can be pretty hard to record. Suggestion: Remake the part where they were in the US and they were driving through Alabama with all those writings on the cars. I don't think I should be a main part of this project as at the moment I am doing some odd hours at work and therefore will not be online at the same sort of time as the rest of you guys which may hinder the project. However I had a small chat with Ottae and TenaciousD and we came up with some great ideas for what we can do (DESTROY A BOBCAT!!!!) So if TD and Ottae want to continue this project then they are more than welcome. I've still got to release my video which I started ages ago with the help of Trows and Hollaz and I plan to release that soon except I still need some voice actors, however I may just release the video with subtitles apart from my narration to help speed up the release.
