Jay Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 I have to buy a present for my cousin tomorrow, for his 14th birthday. He has a DS, and is already getting Metroid Prime. I have absolutely no idea what to get him because I've been out of the handheld gaming circuit for years. What is hot right now for he DS? And what would a 14 year old guy want to play on his DS? I know he used to be right into WoW and stuff. I'm going to be buying it at JB, so hopefully it'll be something on this page. Please help guys. I think Mario Kart DS would be a safe bet, I've been told that Dynasty Warriors is a good game, not sure what the DS version would be like though. Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 I'd quickly yell out Phantom Hourglass but it's not even on that page and I believe it's gonna be coming out in late October for Australians. Looking at the list, there are quiet a few good games. Mario VS Donkey Kong 2 (the first one was one hell of a good game), Star Fox Command, Animal Crossing Wild World, Phoenix Wright, etc. I haven't played them, but I do hear good things about them, and they seem to have gotten pretty high scores (Animal Crossing, in particular) for whatever that's worth. I suggest playing it safe and buying him any of the Mario games. New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario DS or Mario Kart DS.
