60 Cent.
Well, did you back up the game? A similar thing happened to me. I uninstalled SA, then a couple of months later I did a System Restore to a previous date where I still had SA, and it wouldn't work.

Dolven
i deletd it and re intsalled san andreas now san andreas doesnt work how can i fix this? You need to uninstall san andreas then re install it, you can’t just delete the directory. To uninstall it click add or remove programs in the CP or put the CD in and then click uninstall. string227
ok 1,be more specific.2,how is it not working? does it crash at loading screen? 3,if you installed mods under v1.00 then you need to downgrade or get a 1.00 no cd crack,gosh....its like talking to you. gtamodder
I had this problem before. Try this. Uninstall GTA San Andreas Go to my documents/GTA San andreas user files/gta.set. Delete that file. Now delete the san andreas folder to remove any remaining files. Now install the game, and see if that works.

gtamodder
it still doesnt work Hmmm, it's weird with san andreas. If the game crashes and reinstalling it still crashes ! It usally only happenes with San Andreas. Does this happen when loading a saved game? Try starting a new one.

string227
OMFG!!! the correct awnser is that you have version 2.00.you need downgrade or get a v1.00 no-cd patch.if you install mods on 2.00 it would crash while loading.so downgrade or patch to 1.00.i cant tell you where to get the downgrader or the patch becuase its a warez take and its aginst the rules.
